Since I didn’t have a trade in, I was able to put a sizable down payment and financed the balance. The truck was freshly washed, and had a full tank of gas. I was reviewing dealerships service histories to help a friend, and came upon Lakeland Hyundai and Genesis. I had previously responded to numerous Genesis surveys but never responded to cars.com or other auto website reviewers which caused me to decide to do one for Lakeland Hyundai/Genesis. I have purchased three "Genesis" from now Lakeland Genesis. The first in 2009 was a Genesis under the Hyundai brand. That was eventually traded for a 2015 Hyundai Genesis, which was eventually traded for a 2023 Genesis G80 from their new dealership location. Each newer vehicle was improved from the previous vehicle with newer technology and safety equipment. All were trouble free, very comfortable, well performing, economical vehicles. All the maintenance for all 3 vehicles over 14 years were performed by Lakeland Hyundai/Genesis. The service staff were always pleasant, and the service was performed as expected generally on a timely basis. Although there were a couple of recalls during that period, I had no mechanical problems with any of the 3 vehicles. I did however purchase the extended service plan with each vehicle for the regular maintenance. I did have a question with the recently purchased vehicle service interval of 8000 miles, but they assure me that with the newest synthetic lubricants that has become the standard oil change interval.

I recently leased a new GMC Terrain and I couldn't be happier. Johnathan, was incredibly knowledgeable about the 4 different vehicles I had my mind on, and he patiently answered every question I had. He even helped me compare the 4 different vehicles with all the trim levels to find the perfect fit for my needs. At one point, I decided I might want to purchase instead of lease, so he went through the options in that format as well. Unlike other dealerships I visited, surprisingly, there was absolutely no pressure to buy and absolutely no high-pressure sales tactics. Just to be sure I wasn?t making the process to easy on them; I decided on a vehicle that wasn?t on-site, but they located it and had it in the parking lot before the end of the day. The financing process was simple and transparent. Jacob clearly explained all my options and helped me secure a great interest rate. He found a few rebates that I wasn't aware of. I also appreciated the clean and comfortable atmosphere of the dealership (they are kid friendly!). This group is genuine and helped me find the right car, not just to make a sale.
