2026 GMC Terrain review
We traded in our 2019 Buick Encore for this Terrain. Let's just say WOW on the room and comfort. We travel back and forth from NC to Ohio as family lives in both States. Well the Encore was nice on gas but not comfortable on long trips at all. This has great leg room (heated seats (both back and bottom) and this is a game changer for me with my arthritis. The cameras in this car are awesome. You can see clearly what is behind you when backing up. The lane assist will give you a little buzz in the seat on the side you have drifted too or if you are getting too close to an object or person when backing up. Nice cargo area. The back seat can also handle 3 adults with enough leg room. It's very comfy back there, I road in the back on the test drive since I sometimes sit in the back on trips so I can n change positions more. The 15 inch info center is impressive for sure. Still learning how to use it. If you want comfort in a nice looking SUV this is the one for you.

2018 GMC Terrain review
I have owned 5 of the 2018-19 terrains. I have had the 1.5 gas, 2.0 gas and the 1.6 diesel. The power on the 2.0 is awesome. Mileage on the 1.5 is good. Mileage on the 1.6 diesel is great. I have 336,000 miles on my diesel. It has had lots of issues due to emissions and transmissions. Last week it got a new engine as well. The car is a great car but I would recommend the 1.5 gas for most people. The terrain is comfortable and makes a great work or travel vehicle. Size is easy to park with plenty of leg room.

To be honest, this SUV impressed me with the great performance even with the small 1.5 liter engine, and huge space inside, it rides like a bigger vehicle, very responsive on the highway and very quiet cabin. My wife really liked it.

Bought it used. The shifter on the dash takes getting used to. But after a month I no longer grab for the shifter arm. Have been happy with comfort. Driving. Gas mileage. Would recommend it.

2021 GMC Terrain review
READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

I went in knowing my current vehicle was on it's last leg. I knew what type of vehicle I wanted to look at and my price range. I pulled up and was immediately greeted by Nick Pfeffer. He offered me something to drink and started asking me questions to gauge what I was looking for. After I told him I was looking for a reliable SUV with good mileage and good fuel economy he asked what I would like my monthly payment to be around. After this he got a few vehicles for me to look at and we went for a few test drives. The entire time Nick was super knowledgeable about the cars we were driving. Features, safety, and etc. Once I made my decision from the three he worked with finance and helped me get signed up for car insurance. When finance was done I met with Tony, one of the finance managers, to wrap up the purchase. It was quick and easy! Numbers fit what I wanted, length of agreement was what I wanted. I never felt pressured the whole time I was there and they listened to what I wanted as a customer. Both told stories from their life during 'dead time' and asked me asked me questions about what I would use vehicle for and who would ride in it. I haven't bought a new car in 8 years so this experience was so great for my first time back. Once finance was done we got the temp plate and they took the car to detail for one more quick clean and got the plate taped up and helped me set up all the technology portions of my new car before I left. I have never had a better experience in sales than I did today. Nick and Tony really made the experience fulfilling. If I need to ever get another car I will be back here for my first option. Pleased with overall package. Not for speed enthusiasm driving but will get you there. Average gas mileage. Ride not the smoothest but okay. Overall, I'm pleased. Haven't had an American car in years. This Terrain SLT is nice 👍🏾.

2019 GMC Terrain review
I brought this truck in 2019. I kept taking it back to the dealership to get tweaked several times. Once it was figured out, never got any problems ever again. A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.

It was very clean and in much better shape than the others I looked at. The owner and all the staff were very nice and a pleasure to deal with. I did have a problem with a service engine light. They fixed the problem in a timely fashion. I will be back when I need another car or truck.
2015 GMC Terrain review
I bought this vehicle used over a year ago with 99 k miles on it. Other than routine maintenance; oil changes, brakes and filters it has performed well. Very comfortable ride, roomy and comfortable interior, features and options are numerous with lane departure side and frontal spacing warnings, back up camera, sun roof and roof rack, blue tooth and more. I don't understand the negative reviews as I am pleased with this vehicle.

2019 GMC Terrain review
I have owned my Terrain for 3 months now, and am absolutely in love with it. Super smooth, great pick up, and I get a lot of complements on both the exterior and interior design. I average 26.3 MPG city and highway combined, which is not bad considering I live in Florida so my AC is never off in the car.

2018 GMC Terrain review
Bought the car CPO in summer 2021 with 38k miles. Now being summer 2024 with 90k miles and I’ve mostly had good luck with the car and its components. I have the extended warranty through 100k miles but I feel like all American cars are built to fail after the warranty runs out. Overall great car: I have the 2.0L turbo engine with 9 speed auto and AWD. AWD is great when turned on, grips the road well, and to be honest the 2.0L has a TON of power; way more than you need for a compact SUV! I had a quick issue around 65k miles where the service traction control and stability light came on for 15 minutes. Dismissed itself and haven’t had an issue since. At 75k miles, it was during the winter time, the car would display “park break realized” and “service traction control” when the auto start stop would kick back on (there’s no way to shut off the auto start/stop system). No issues and lights but the messages would pop up and dismiss themselves. Little did I know it was my battery dying and my mechanic said “some wires were loose” and he tightened them up. Haven't had an issue since I got a new battery. Last thing that happens is sometimes when you have Apple CarPlay going and you unplug the phone, the infotainment system will freeze and no Bluetooth, usb, or CarPlay will work for the reming duration of the ride unless you stop the car and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Simply shutting it off and turning it back on never worked. Overall I give this car a good rating for 0-100k miles. I am pleased with the car but looking for something bigger soon. I think I did overpay a bit for it ($30k for 38k miles) since I got it summer of 2021 when new cars were nonexistent!
