McGrath Honda has been part of our family’s story since 2013, when we moved to the area with our 2011 Odyssey. Over the years, they’ve earned our trust, so when it was time to upgrade to a 2023 Odyssey, we didn’t think twice about returning. This year brought an unexpected financial setback, and we had to make the tough decision to sell our 2023 Odyssey. Jason and Rene treated us with compassion and patience, offering a buy‑back price that genuinely helped us through a difficult moment. We still needed a vehicle, so we chose a certified 2019 Honda Ridgeline. Giovanni guided us through several test drives without rushing us, and the used car manager, Aldo, made sure we got a fair deal. The finance team—Muhammed and Bryan—was just as supportive. They understood how important it was for us to receive our refund quickly, and although they estimated a couple of weeks, the check arrived in only three days! McGrath Honda didn’t just sell us cars—they supported us when we needed it most. No games, no pressure, just honesty and respect. Because of them, we were able to get through a financial hurdle while still driving a dependable vehicle. We’ll continue going to McGrath for anything Honda‑related. They’ve earned our loyalty many times over.
2019 Honda Civic Type R review
Best all around Bang for your buck "IF!!!!" you can find it for Sticker price I had to go to 17 dealerships to finally have one sell me one at sticker price. It is amazing car. TIRES: Current Stock tires tend to scramble for traction more times than I would like but sticker ties should fix that. RIMS: These 20" rims... this is a surprisingly comfortable ride, but allow Jesus on your side if you hit a pot hole, to bless your rims for another ride. TRANSMISSION: Seems to have an issue with downshifting which seems to be a known issue by most TYPE R owners. The shifter will not go into 4th, 3rd or 1st easily occasionally has been my issue. This is very annoying when it happens especially since its a brand new car but no where near a deal break at this point in ownership. COMFORT:Seats are next level comfortable, OMG car is almost worth just the seats on long trips short trips, sometimes I just want to hope in the car just to relax. PERFORMANCE: Is not...whats the word.... Fun. What I mean by that is, i've driven EVO 8, Silva, Intera, Miata, Prelude, RX-7, Skyline, RX-8, and WRX STI, and the Honda Civic is a better performing car than all of these vehicles, however all of these other vehicle FEEL more fun to drive because of the way the Type R delivers its performance. Its calm, collected, third gear will launch you from 30-->80mph in like 3-4 seconds and you have no idea you are retardedly beyond the speed limit until you hit the breaks and then the speed becomes apparent. Around turns it just grips and takes you through the turn. No drama, no excitement, no fun, just surgically, expertly, confidently a driving professional. This may be an awful description but I really hope it helps someone out! CLEANING: If you are doing it by hand there are so many nooks and crannies on the exterior it is quite the endeavor. Also the alcantara/suede/ whatever it is seats grab particles and hair like nobodies business. Overall the worst part about this vehicle is having to deal with the Honda dealerships.

2015 Honda Fit review
Great overall little commuter hatchback. We got ours a few years old with low mileage due to the options we wanted. The other reviews are kind of silly on here, complaining about a car due to lack of options selected by the buyer. Yes it wont have heated seats if you dont get the heated seat models lol. Our model is the EX, it has a sunroof, blind mirror indicator, heated seats, and a manual 6 speed transmission. Basically all features any high end model could use, I dont like leather seats due to the degradation long term. Just make sure you avoid the CVT transmission. Our area would not offer manual 6 speed on the high end trim so we had to travel out of state to get ours. Few mods added to the car to make it even better: - bi-led projector retrofit on headlights - led bulbs all around, plates, interior. - auto dim rear view mirror (easy wire in) - front facing dash cam - sirius satellite radio - winter aluminum rims (instead of steelies), summer has factory 17" aluminum black/silver combo - towing hitch (bike carrier) -- vehicle rated at 2000 lbs Overall its been very reliable, super practical with the folding seats. It gets excellent fuel efficiency and fits everywhere. Power wise, its very snappy given with a manual transmission you can control it a lot better than the sloppy CVT. The manual does 0-60mph in 8 seconds or less, which is very fast for a little car. Its not a tesla or a GTR with 130hp but its plenty for its 36-40 mpg. One issue ours had was the starter went out really early, but it was an easy change out, its a known issue. The seats are not very comfortable for long trips but thats because they are so small and its a commuter car. The cam gear also can get noisy on these at start up, so they will rattle but has no impact to performance. We have just over 100k miles on ours and its a very strong little car, will be getting another one of the final production year as this one gets higher in mileage. Again get the manual 6, you will not regret it, honda manual cars are semi automatic, the clutch is like a feather vs. a subaru for example. Totally worth it.

2025 Honda Civic Hybrid review
Had the car for a week. Fun to drive. I like the way the interior looks. The seats are a little stiff and no lumbar support, that’s why I gave 4 stars on comfort. Have been getting about 45 mpg combined.

Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. 2025 Honda Civic review
I traded in a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring because it was going to to cost more to fix the major issues (as a second owner I did not know the CR-V had that many things wrong). I put money down on the Civic Sport that I was going to use for the repairs. I do have to say it's a nice car and I hope it will last longer than I expect. That being said I didn't want to buy another Honda but I did go to a dealership that I trust more than anybody else. I will come back and further my review once I have 5,000 miles on it.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. Now, two weeks on, I'm very pleased with my car and experience. Thanks!
2021 Honda Civic review
After buying Toyota vehicles for years, I found out that they were outsourcing their CVT’s and Honda was making their own CVT’s and after driving a new Toyota Corolla and then a new Honda Civic, I was more impressed with the Honda Civic. My three previous cars were Toyota Corolla’s and I loved them. I am very happy with my 2021 Honda Civic EX and I would not hesitate to recommend Honda.

2007 Honda Fit review
I am 75 years old and I have been driving since I was 15. I purchased my 2007 Honda Fit when they first became available. I still drive that car (October, 2023) and I still love it dearly. I have been keeping track of my mlleage since I purchased the car and it has had an average mpg of at least 32 and as high as 36 in town!

2017 Honda Fit review
Bought it new in 2017 because I wanted a small car that didn’t crumple in an accident. Well it didn’t. Had a major accident and it was totaled. Hit by a much larger truck combined front and driver side collision, went airborne over 2/3 lanes, knocked down utility poles and stopped. I crawled out the drivers door with only bumps and bruises. I am 76ers old. Nothing in the car touched me, except the airbags. The medics didn’t believe me. (I am an RN). I am so grateful that it did it’s job by saving my life. So, I Bought another FIT. Took months of dealing with dealerships, and the Salesman that helped me at Algonquin was so patient with me... You can't find these in my side of the country, they're all in the East coast, I was an out of state buyer from Colorado and tons of dealerships and their salesmen wrote me off but not this one, many not taking me seriously... but Casey from Algonquin Hyundai was the hero I needed... Even after times when the deal fell through, he would follow up with me, making sure he was still there to help me with this purchase... finally after a couple months and all the stars lined up, it was time to make the purchase, and Casey's steadfast dedication to make sure I was taken care of paid off. I literally bought the car, without even seeing it, just from pictures, from Colorado, then flew out to pick it up. They FedEx'ed me the paperwork, I signed it, sent it back then flew out to Chicago to pick it up and drove it back. Not only that, Casey himself picked me up at the airport and drove me back to the dealership 1 hour away! Talk about Genesis customer service! What do you expect when a luxury fully loaded 2022 4 door sedan goes for 58k when it's new you're buying primo goods... and mine was a 2018! The most reliable car that I have ever own it has 109000k miles and runs perfect, never had a mechanical problems, is rummy inside for fitting things and also has leg and head room. The sits folds giving you lots of space. Is just a GREAT car.

2023 Honda Civic review
After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

I love the car. Bought it new. 104K miles. Super reliable. Only downside is a/c can be troublesome and mileage is subpar for being so small. I only get 23/23 mpg in normal commuting. Very fun to drive. Tons of space. Very nimble.

2018 Honda Civic review
I have had my car for a few years now. I have 102k on it now. I took it in for the A/C recall and Fuel pump. My injectors were replaced as part of the fuel pump recall. I have had zero other issues, all was paid for. I am as happy with it now as I have ever been. I get a constant 35MPG combined and it has 205hp with excellent handling. I’m old, I’ve had a lot of cars. This is truly an engineering marvel. How could you get this mileage and power for that price? Do your research. I drive it very aggressively in so cal canyons etc and it makes me smile.. that alone is worth the reasonable price. Mine is stock, but my warranty just ended at 100k so stay tuned……

We still needed a vehicle, so we chose a certified 2019 Honda Ridgeline. They understood how important it was for us to receive our refund quickly, and although they estimated a couple of weeks, the check arrived in only three days! McGrath Honda didn’t just sell us cars—they supported us when we needed it most. No games, no pressure, just honesty and respect. Because of them, we were able to get through a financial hurdle while still driving a dependable vehicle. We’ll continue going to McGrath for anything Honda‑related. 2019 Honda Civic Type R review
Best all around Bang for your buck "IF!!!!" you can find it for Sticker price I had to go to 17 dealerships to finally have one sell me one at sticker price. It is amazing car. TIRES: Current Stock tires tend to scramble for traction more times than I would like but sticker ties should fix that. RIMS: These 20" rims... this is a surprisingly comfortable ride, but allow Jesus on your side if you hit a pot hole, to bless your rims for another ride. TRANSMISSION: Seems to have an issue with downshifting which seems to be a known issue by most TYPE R owners. The shifter will not go into 4th, 3rd or 1st easily occasionally has been my issue. This is very annoying when it happens especially since its a brand new car but no where near a deal break at this point in ownership. COMFORT:Seats are next level comfortable, OMG car is almost worth just the seats on long trips short trips, sometimes I just want to hope in the car just to relax. PERFORMANCE: Is not...whats the word.... Fun. What I mean by that is, i've driven EVO 8, Silva, Intera, Miata, Prelude, RX-7, Skyline, RX-8, and WRX STI, and the Honda Civic is a better performing car than all of these vehicles, however all of these other vehicle FEEL more fun to drive because of the way the Type R delivers its performance. Its calm, collected, third gear will launch you from 30-->80mph in like 3-4 seconds and you have no idea you are retardedly beyond the speed limit until you hit the breaks and then the speed becomes apparent. Around turns it just grips and takes you through the turn. No drama, no excitement, no fun, just surgically, expertly, confidently a driving professional. This may be an awful description but I really hope it helps someone out! CLEANING: If you are doing it by hand there are so many nooks and crannies on the exterior it is quite the endeavor. Also the alcantara/suede/ whatever it is seats grab particles and hair like nobodies business. Overall the worst part about this vehicle is having to deal with the Honda dealerships.

2019 Honda Civic Type R review
After I drove it around for an hour or so to get my shifting swagger of my pre-Prius days (15 years ago!!), I gunned it and holiee shiiiiiiiiiiii. I felt like a criminal. I'm mostly a well mannered gentleman but at that moment I must tell you that it feels good to be a gangster. A few of my buddies are rolling new 911s now and I thought for the longest time....actually every night on YouTube....about possibly getting one. Well, after receiving this Type R yesterday, I'm glad that I spent a third of the money to get enough of the fun with this. It's good enough for a guy that prefers to stay in his nice sofa than some cold hard jail cell. I don't wanna be put in the slammer. I got two kids. This, my friends, will do the trick for you too. Live a little, you know.

Firestone told her she needed brakes and the manager Tony had my mom‘s car pulled up on the lift, and the brakes were fine, but when the mechanic was taking the wheel off, he noticed that there was some play and it turned out to be a wheel bearing. If you’ve ever seen anyone with a wheel that fell off their car on the highway. That probably would’ve been my mom because she Hand some teenager at fire stone Check it out telling her she need brakes. It didn’t make any sense because she just did her brakes like 12,000 miles ago. Always get a second opinion..

2023 Honda Civic Type R review
I purchased my 2023 Type R in July, with the intention of only driving it on Sunday's (weather permitting). Well..... that didn't last a week !!! I can't get enough time to drive it !!! I treat her with kit gloves.

2025 Honda Civic Type R review
It's been 5 month since I got my Type R, and it was the right choice for me . It might be for everyone so I recommend taking a test drive if the dealer let's you and get your finance done ans shop around for MSRP. I had no problem driving 1400 miles round trip and wasn't beat driving the car. This is a keeper for sure.

2018 Honda Fit review
This fit has good visibility and is very responsive. It is quite comfortable and the gas mileage is excellent. The road hazard alerts are a bit over-reactive and not always accurate but this feature can be deactivated. I love the fit so much that I have bought a second one for family members to use.

2019 Honda Civic Type R review
This car is so responsive it amazes me every time I drive it. It’s the fastest 4 cylinder front wheel drive there is. 306 HP. Great on gas, comfortable, plenty of leg room and room for groceries and a car seat if needed. I love it!
