He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. 2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. I read the reviews that were on CarGurus, which Is where I found a 2024 Toyota Camry SE. From the 1 star reviews, I was apprehensive about buying from Texan Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. After buying the car, I don’t understand why those reviewers had such terrible experiences. Maybe it’s because I was so fortunate to have Jim Clipson as my sales consultant. He gave 100% customer service. He was patient when repeating things that my mother and I did not understand or forgot. The owners manual was missing, but Jim searched until he found one for me. That way, I didn’t have to buy it then get reimbursed from the dealership. Also, I don’t like the look of black hubcaps on black wheels. So Jim removed the plastic black hubcap covers. I asked for $1000 to be taken off the selling price. He tried very hard, but management wouldn’t approve it. However, they did reduce the price by a few hundred dollars. The financial consultant was very easy to work with as well. Jim gave me his personal cell phone number and provided excellent communication. The entire buying experience was pleasant. I love my “new” used car. The dealership is over an hour away from my home, but it was definitely worth the trip. For anyone shopping for a vehicle there, I strongly recommend you ask for Jim Clipson. He has many sales awards on his desk, and he deserves every one of them.
