2020 Kia Optima review
I got the 2020 KIA Optima S trim. The car is great! This is my first car and the safety features helps me out a lot. The backup camera works really well thankfully because I can’t see see anything out the back window lol. I’m in the military so I drive her around a little more often than usual. The car holds up well. The car is very comfortable as well I drive her back home (15hrs) and have no issues at all. The fuel economy is great as well get around 530 miles on a full tank. The car is not a race car so I wouldn’t expect that kind of performance. That being said she is pretty fast and handles great! I got mine in 2021 for about $24k with around 23k miles on it. For the money I’d definitely say it’s worth it.

2020 Kia Optima review
We love our 2020 Optima. So much for the $$. Good size, ride, and ample features including safety for the money. 2nd owner and my daughters commute to college at 34-35 mpg which is good for this size car. Unfortunately too many have engine failure with 2.4L (8-10k replacement) and nearing 60k warranty end I'm going to trade for a Honda or Toyota rather than roll the dice. A shame they can't provide a bulletproof engine with an otherwise awesome car!!

2018 Kia Optima review
Just traded in my 2013 for a 2018 with less than 18,000 miles on it. I loved my Optima and wanted another. This one is nice, but missing the heated steering wheel my other EX had. I like the looks of the cabin on my 2013 better than this one, but it’s not bad. It’s a smooth comfortable ride, good on gas and has some nice safety features. Definitely not disappointed.

2015 Kia Optima review
There's pro and cons with this car. I love the fact that this car is very good of mileages save so much fuel , I lived in San Antonio and we drove this car with full tank to Corpus Christi its about 2 hours and half, almost 145 miles away, then we came back still have half full of a tank. My deslike about the car is the front passenger set, its kinda very low and there's no other way of adjusting it. ( Blind spot)When changing lane specially to your rare left side ,you literally turning your head making sure there's no other vehicle. Other than that??The car is good to drive.

2012 Kia Optima review
Drives great, lots of leg room in the back seat. The ECO option is nice for improved fuel economy. Reliable, never had any issues with the car except the plastic molding along rear window. That came out by a loose screw. That is the only change I would change is hope they improve those chrome strips and logos on cars to hold that chrome look better. My logo chipped and is almost al black now.

2018 Kia Optima review
I just purchased a 2018 Kia optima from a used dealership at first I was concerned. But it only has 48,000 miles on it. Now 51,000 I always thought Kia was a girl car. But as a man. I love it. It has plenty room in the back. The car runs smoothly and I like the safety alert it gives when another vehicle is to close on you. I didn't want to drive it to work but the gas mileage is much better than my 2004 Ford escape . I've had my Kia almost a month now and I'm still trying to figure out how to work the features. Yes I recommend this car. Even if you get one with 100,000 miles on it. It would still run great

2015 Kia Optima review
I've had my Optima for nearly a year now and nothing bad has happened so far, in 10 months I've put on 13,000 miles; from 74,000-87,000 miles and I haven't experienced a single issue. It looks good, runs reliably, and is comfortable on long drives. However, I feel that the acceleration is a little slow but hey, I'm 19, every teenager wants fast, but I'm really happy with my Optima and I definitely recommend it!

2012 Kia Optima review
I’ve owned a 2012 Kia Optima EX GDi 2.4L engine. Hands down, best car I have ever driven! After 8 years of daily driving and 135,000 miles later, she still handles like the day I drove her off the dealership lot. Very comfortable leather interior, that even though is years old, has not one crack or tear! Shifts smoothly, brakes smoothly and still has some get up and go when I put my foot down. Very safe car- Prior to this I owned an ‘11 Optima EX that I got into an accident in. The side and front airbags left me unscathed! All in all, I’m glad I went with Kia. You can never go wrong with that Kia reliability!

I've got A 2&3 year old this car has exceeded my expectations. My Kia has so much room for the kids or just riding in traffic to enjoy the sun. I NEVER imagined I'd own a Kia but I'm so glad this is what I decided on. Ive always purchased vehicles solely on looks and mainly performance and the 2019 Kia Optima is on my top 3, It's great in city and on highways while also looking slick and almost like a much more expensive car. Love love the Kia, I gotta hand it to the engineers on this one. Plenty of space great gas mileage and is much more then your everyday original stock filled car options. I both bought and sold a car here recently. My sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic. SOLD: They gave me a very fair price on a 2003 Honda CRV with roughly 180K miles. The process was quick and painless. You do not have to buy a car from them to sell a car to them. I had done my homework before and knew what it was worth and I was offered a price higher than Kelly Blue Book. BUY: Buying a used car was more complicated. It took test driving many and lots of time on their website before I found one that met the very specific details I was looking for. I decided on CarMax because I did have a very specific car in mind that I had not been able to find private seller in the two plus months I'd been looking. Also, my sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic.He spent roughly a month helping me look at cars making calls to other dealerships and coordinating multiple test drives etc. I know having him as a salesperson made a huge difference. I had looked at other dealerships and was treated only like a wallet from the moment I entered. He worked hard to help me find what I needed in a car and was pleasant and respectful the entire time. Not at all the experience I had at other dealerships. With all of the hidden fees etc other places have, carmax was not more expensive. I was glad not to give my money to sketchy people at another place.

2020 Kia Optima review
Loved the Optima after upgrading from a Forte due to highway issues with it. Lots of room, dashboard has all the bells & whistles you could want. Quick pickup, gas mileage is great if you aren't using the A/C which burns gas fast. It's a great car and I loved it! Unfortunately turning it in after nearly 3 years due to mechanical issues. Battery went after 1 year of use, starter just went on it 2 days ago, collision warning system keeps shutting down while just driving with error message. Everything was covered under warranty, but I never had these fast problems with my Toyota's. Trading it in tomorrow for something else. Plus they did away with the Optima line.

2019 Kia Optima review
This is now the second optima I have owned and I have to say that I am truly impressed with how KIA has improved over the years. The leg room in this car is fantastic and it's quite comfortable on long rides. Handles nice, has nice acceleration, rides smooth, it's great on fuel, and has very few problems. The interior gets some criticism from some consumers but what I love about it is that it sacrifices flashy exotic dashboard designs for genuine comfort and space. I would argue that the value of the newer optima models exceeds that of the almighty Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. I literally love driving this car and I miss it when I'm riding in someone else's car. The only issue I ever had was with my last optima, which was a knock sensor issue. Kia fixed it free of charge rather quickly and gave me no problems at all about it. My current one has over 50k miles and runs like brand new. You can't even feel the motor running when it's idling. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for more bang for their buck and for anyone who has 1-2 kids.

2019 Kia Optima review
I have a 2006 Kia Sportage LX with 100,700 miles on it. As you can tell, I don't particularly drive much. But my Sportage has been VERY reliable. (I call it "Ole Faithful.") In 15 yrs I haven't had to put much money into it. Other than a set of tires, a battery, and regular oil changes, I've had to put in an AC condenser and a power steering pump totalling about $1200.00 which isn't bad over 15 years of car ownership! When I decided to get another car for long distance road trips I immediately added the Optima to my short list. My priority was a mid-sized car with great safety ratings and features, and comfort. The other vehicles I considered were the 2019 Accord, Camry, and Sonata. After MONTHS of research I decided on the Optima S. I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE this car, and do not regret my choice one bit! It checked ALL my boxes, plenty of interior and trunk space, technology features, and of course safety (blindspot, rear cross traffic, lane keep assist among others). And as far as value for the money, Accord and Camry couldn't touch it. The gas milage is listed as a bit less that the Honda and Toyota, but I have been getting between 37 and 39 mpg highway, and 32 to 34 around town, so I really can't complain at all. I'd highly recommend adding this car to your list, to anyone looking for a mid-sized family car.
