New Forester Premium - Austin got me the car I wanted

I had wanted a Forester for several years. Then I became enamored with a used GMC Terrain SLT1. I was on my way to purchase a Terrain when I decided to stop by Janesville Subaru. Austin was outside and greeted me. We struck up a conversation and I told him I was on my way to buy a car. He asked if I was familiar with Subaru's. I have owned several and have been pleased with each one. When I described what I had been looking for in a Forester, Austin lead me a vehicle that had just been offloaded from the truck. It was exactly what I???d been looking for. NOTE: I am from Roscoe. I had been dealing with several other Subaru dealers over the past few days, but they did not have the number of cars Janesville Subaru had. Since I couldn't find "my car" I started looking at the GMC. Austin showed me their Terrains, then took me again to the new Forester. We did a simple pros/cons list. Over 40 years of driving I have had a number of vehicles in the GMC family. As I spoke about them I also recalled all the various mechanics who kept them running. My Subaru's never had much of a problem. My wife's Legacy has 68,000 miles with the only trips to a garage being for oil changes. I even drove that car up Mount Washington in New Hampshire. Austin is a great guy to deal with. He is not high pressure and he wants to get you into a great car that you can afford. He knows his Subaru???s as well as the used cars on the lot. It was a pleasure to work with him. He was polite, knowledgeable, and followed up with both personal emails and phone calls to ensure all was well and answer my questions. Austin is perhaps the best car sales person I have had the privilege of working with. He got me to move from a car I'd settle for, to the car I wanted. I am going to enjoy this Forester the next 10 years!
