2024 Mazda CX-30 review
I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

2026 Mazda CX-30 review
I owned a Mazda 3 Touring for 9 years, and due to an accident needed a new hatchback vehicle. Initially I was trying for a hybrid, but the hybrids made by Mazda were too big for my garage, so I tried Toyota and Honda models that would fit. Having been spoiled by my previous Mazda, my expectations were high, and all these cars were a disappointment for various reasons. And given I drive low mileage, it would have taken many years to recoup the cost of a hybrid vs whatever fuel savings they could provide. So in the end, I went back to Mazda and tried the CX30-Preferred AWD. Fell in love with it the moment I got in. For the money, it offered the most features, safety and otherwise, as standard, for a price that was truly affordable. Lots of bang for your buck. The vehicle design, construction, interior materials and organization just shout quality, excellence, reliability and safety. Mazda truly lives up to its reputation for amazing attention to detail throughout the vehicle. The unique Mazda design and AWD solidly hugs the road around curves, giving a great sense of control without feeling heavy. The car is about the same size as my Touring, on the smaller side, so it's an easy fit into the garage and small parking spaces. AND there is the crossover height and power front seat, making it easy for getting my old bones in and out of the car. I love the central display position and operation either by voice command or using buttons on my console rather than touching the screen. There is a learning curve, but once mastered, works very well on Android Auto with my phone. The only drawback is that my phone doesn't seem to charge - the dealer said that can happen with Androids. But that's a minor point for me. The cargo area is slightly narrower than in my Touring hatchback, but with the back seat down, it's comparable and more than adequate for my needs. Plus, Mazda has these wonderful soft cargo mats you can purchase that protect the back of the rear seat and the rear bumper when you are loading up. Sturdy and well made, the materials are great quality, and the mats are easy to install. And then there is the easy to use and well organized 'My Mazda" app to customize functional settings, perform all kinds of things remotely and check the status of various items about my vehicle, manage maintenance schedules, etc. I've had the car now for almost 4 weeks and have taken a couple of long road trips - and I have to say, every time I get in it, I am absolutely delighted with my choice. I feel really safe driving it, am loving the quality, ride, common-sense design and organization of the central and operational displays, AND the moonroof which was also standard. If this review sounds over the top, it's because this vehicle deserves it, believe me....it's a great vehicle for seniors like me especially. No reservations at all in recommending the Mazda CX30 AWD, Preferred.

2026 Mazda CX-30 review
So far the car is great. I do like the design of the CX30 more than the CX5, however, I love the full sunroof on the new CX5. I didn't think I would be able to get that in the CX30 but come to find out I could but I would miss out on the Bose speakers. I went for it and the standard speakers are good enough. They lack base is about it. As far as the shopping experience goes it was the best I ever experienced. I purchased the car from Hamilton Mazda in Hamilton NJ and the salesman was on point. Easy peezy. Mike Rees is the best salesman to date. I wasn't there all day, and he really worked with me. My credit isn't the best and the finance office did what they could to make it happen. Thank you for your professional services Mr. Rees and the Hamilton Mazda crew.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. I worked with Edwin and Christina. Both were amazing. My sunroof was only closing half way. I needed to get it repaired since the Houston area often rains. I scheduled my service repair last minute while hoping to get a loaner. When I arrived for my scheduled time, there were no loaners available. There were no guarantees if any loaner would return on that day. While considering that I had two young children with me, both Edwin and Christina kept me in the loop when a loaner became available. They also moved me up to the top of the waiting list. They went up and beyond to prevent me and small children from being carless or driving in the rain with a broken sunroof. They informed me of a loaner immediately. My children were so excited about the loaner that they would tell our neighbors that we got a new car. The whole process was amazing. My sunroof is fixed, and my children and I are back on the road in our original car.
2021 Mazda CX-30 review
I looked for an economical but comfortable small car. This is the one I selected. Without reservation. And the styling is great. Would purchase again.

2022 Mazda CX-30 review
Great car. I have turbo version and it is very fun to drive. I do wish it had a larger gas tank. I get about 300 miles out of a tank of breast.

2022 Mazda CX-30 review
Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
This is my baby! I absolutely love this car! It handles beautifully and very comfortable to ride in. I got the select because we wanted the 18” wheels. It has better braking capability. It also has a 2.5 - 4 engine. Radio is the only con because there is no antenna. But none of the new cars have one. Overall, this is the very best car for us and highly recommend it to anyone who prefers a smaller SUV.
