My recent purchase of a 2024 Subaru Forester was a pleasant experience. The sales agent Tyler Drake was a pleasure to deal with; his no pressure sales and knowledge made the buying experience enjoyable. I highly recommend the Smythe Volvo team from the car detailing crew to management and especially Tyler in taking care of all your needs.

Marcus and Sal are two of the best people in the business. Sal will tried to get me into a Nissan Sentra but I was too under water on my Nissan. But I recommend the dealer whole heartedly. All at the dealership are fantastic people.

2024 Nissan Sentra review
I HAD TWO (MINOR?) PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN SENTRA SV 2024 SO FAR; REPAIRED BY THE CAR BASIC WARRANTY (I ONLY ‘PAID’ IN TIME WAITING IN THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER). 1. BATTERY SUDDENLY DRAINED: THE PROBLEM BEGAN AT AROUND 3,200 MILES AND IT TOOK THREE DIAGNOSTIC VISITS, THE LAST ONE FOCUSING ON THE PARASITIC DRAIN, TO FIND A PROBLEM INVOLVING THE BATTERY. BATTERY AND RELATED PARTS REPLACED SUCCESSFULLY (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY). 2. POWER WINDOWS MECHANISM BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS AROUND 5,200 MILES (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY).

Douglas VolkswagenReviews
Douglas Volkswagen review
I was referred to Douglas VW by a friend who has done business with the company for 15 years. She spoke so highly of the dealership and the sales rep Irene Peixoto, I knew I needed to try them out. My daughter and I both needed a new car. We had no idea if it was even possible, but because of Irene and her expertise, we both walked out with new cars without breaking the bank. She understood what we needed, what we had to work with and she went to work. I have never been treated so professionally or fairly than I was that day. Every question answered with sincerity. She did not promise what she could not deliver. Because of Irene, my daughter and I have decided we will remain a VW family and we will only buy from Douglas VW moving forward. Irene changed the game for us. We are forever grateful. Make sure you go to Douglas and make sure you ask for Irene. You will thank me later!!

2024 Nissan Sentra review
I recently purchased a 2024 Sentra SV with the premium package. I also currently own a 2020 Sentra SV (no upgraded package). I've owned that one for 4 years with 80k miles on it now. Great, reliable car. Very comfortable seats, great gas mileage, very good standard stereo system. I love the layout of everything for HVAC controls and radio. The dash display with speed limit sign recognition is great as well. I have had zero problems with the 2020 Sentra (I'm passing that car along to my daughter so not getting rid of it). For the 2024, the only notable differences are the transmission (it was upgraded in 2024) and the stereo controls. The transmission seems more responsive now in keeping rpms low without losing any acceleration. Very quiet car without the whining on the CVT. (there is some but not bad). The stereo on the premium package includes Bose speakers. I was hoping they would be a great upgrade but noticed no real improvement; maybe even slightly worse than the standard setup. In my 2020 Sentra, there is a sound adjustment for the midrange and a bass enhancer you can turn on/off. The new one does not have these selections. It sounds like too much midrange so kind of distorted and not crisp like I expect the Bose to be. Other than that, the car performs the same. It's a perfect reliable commuter car with enough features to keep you happy and comfortable on long drives. I have no issue with pickup or highway driving. I highly recommend.

The sales and financial personnel were Knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. The showroom was clean and there was no pressure to take a vehicle that day. We were in the market for a new vehicle and felt since I have been a GMC/Chevy most of my life, lets go with an American made auto!
2022 Nissan Sentra review
Bought this fully loaded Sentra SR new in 2022, has been an excellent car so far, have 38k miles, changed the cvt fluid and both filters at 35k. and engine oil at every 5k with mobil 1 oil and filter. Car has performed flawlessly. only issue was the radio face would occasionally go black when starting up, took it back to the dealer and they replaced it. Car will get 40+ mpg on the highway. Car is not eat up with horsepower, but it is good enough to get the job done, plus i like the fact that there is no turbo on this car. don't need the problems that go with that. Finally, this is a xxxx good looking, sleek, sporty car, the 2 tone paint, white with black roof and the led lights really set it off. very happy with this car !

2019 Nissan Sentra review
I have the 2019 Nissan Sentra SV Special Edition and the ride and seats are very comfortable. Gas Mileage is great in the city using the Eco mode which I use a lot. I got up to 36 miles per gallon in the city. I added some System48Plus to the oil crank case and now I'm getting up to 40 miles per gallon in the city! I bought the car certified and it had no recalls so I decided to buy this one. Some of those other 2019s had a recall. The front of the car looks amazing sporty! The thing that's not as good would be the performance which I don't need as long as I am saving gas but I am getting a better puck up since I added that engine treatment as well as better gas mileage. The only other thing that could use improvement would be the sterio speakers and l will probably just change that to Boise speakers. Overall it's a great looking and dependable car.

Salit Auto SalesReviews
Salit Auto Sales review
I am an old guy. I am not right off the turnip truck. I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime. When buying a car, I immediately tighten my chin strap and revert to Launch Missile readiness. None of that was necessary in my dealings with Salit Auto Sales. My rather rigid expectations were met, and then some. I mean, I am not one of those New Wave Morality dudes; my thing is old fashioned integrity. And I bought my new – and you’d think it was - very low mileage Mercury Grand Marquis at the right place, sight unseen, and then shipped it 3,000 miles. In all my years – and I won’t tell you how many that is – I have never had a car buying experience like this one. Steve, Mike, and Alan took care of everything. With a professional flair. Without excuses. I was, and remain, stunned. Even if you don’t need a car, go buy one from these guys. I hereby confer the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on Salit Auto Sales.
2025 Nissan Sentra review
This car does exactly what I needed a new car to do. I bought mine in July of 2025 and now 7 months later I have not had one issue with it. It gets great gas mileage, is very comfortable and I love the info system and stereo, For the money you cannot go wrong, this is my first foreign car and now I am done paying a arm and a leg for anything from Ford or GM.

It's a great car, I came from a 2013 Toyota Corolla with 190,000 mi on it. I may be slightly biased but it's very quick and sips gas. If you're looking for a transportation vehicle, I would totally recommend this. It's a beautiful car with lots of technology and very stylish exterior.

Excellent gas milege...regularly exceed the EPA highway estimate for this car. Already have over 30000 miles on it. Regualar maintenace so far at the dealer. Now looking at a set of replacement tires as the OEM's do not last as long as expected. Other than the high wear on the tires, Android Auto connections used to be iffy at best until I figured out how the keep the connection.,

Completely satisfied with my experience leasing a new Rogue from Route 17 Nissan! The team there made me feel like family. Tony and Ali are the best! Thank you for my new car!
2026 Nissan Sentra review
Very surprise car here. Had a 1986 Sentra, that’s it. Stayed away. Until Nissan figured out the CVT and boy they hear the people. Updated in 2025 to also aid the engine performance. Glad they did. Styling spot on. Atlantic grey with off-white synthetic leather(zero gravity) seats. I bought the SL model end of 26’ sale. MSRP that I wasn’t paying with lighted door sills and they Atlantic grey up charge $30k /3500 trade in $26,001 out the door tax, title, tags. This dealer in Bethlehem Pa has a 20/250k free powertrain which helped the CVT purchase. Every option available in a luxury car was in this one. Pro-pilot assist / heated steering wheel/seats. Engine is fine. Don’t know what the grips are. Acura ILX has similar power same displacement. These are economical cars. I get 38/40 mpgs

I didn't have many dealings with them as I didn't realize they were 450 miles away. They were quick and persistent to follow-up. Quite friendly!

Dave thank you for all your professional support in purchasing the vehicle and that’s coming from myself and my family that came with me, they are raving about your professionalism, patience and knowledge. They call you the man that knows his business and that they would love to buy from you when the time is right for them. Again thanks. Robin

Had a vehicle delivered from elsewhere and a good experience. Quite a lengthy process but the sales rep was much easier to deal with than at conventional dealers. Would return.

We worked with Lloyd at this location, and he was knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with us in choosing and later purchasing our vehicle. He explained all of the other services (leather upgrade, warranty, gap coverage, etc), and we are please with our purchase. The facilities were in great shape, and I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase their next car from this location!
2026 Nissan Sentra review
Last time I had a Sentra it was a 1986. Blown away by design, interior and the features you get for the money. Out the door with tax tags title and 3500 for my older accord $26,004. Sentra SL with door did lighting and Atlantic Grey. Full loaded with pro pilot assist. Updated CVT which delivers on those updates. Had me worried in the past but since has been reliable. I have 1100 miles since the last 3 weeks I bought it. Engine is fine. Additional HP is nice but not warranted. Getting 38/40 on the highway. Nice to know the dealer has a 20yr/250k powertrain
