2026 Toyota Camry review
This is the car to have for its segment. It’s beautifully designed. It’s reliable. It’s great on gas. I’m getting 43 mpg. It’s actually fast too with its torquey electric motors assisting its bullet proof 2.5 liter four cylinder. Comfortable leather interior is gorgeous.

We just purchased a 2025 Kia K4 here. The car had an issue and it failed MD inspection. We called the salesman to tell him what happened and he was absolutely useless! However, the Sales Managers (Daniel and Aziz) that worked on our deal stepped in and helped to resolve the issue. I sent them the report that was provided from the Auto Shop that did the inspection. I brought the car back to have their service team look into the matter. Daniel made sure that we had a loaner while they had our car looked for the issue. Their service team look at it and they said nothing was wrong. The service team even went as far as to question the integrity of the place I took the car to get the inspection. Then Aziz sent the car over to the Kia service team and they said nothing was wrong with the car. I thought that was the end of it. I thought I was stuck with the car with an issue because the salesman had said the car is sold as is. However, the car failed inspection again. I took the car to a Kia Dealership in MD and they found the same issue as the place that did the inspection. I called Aziz back and sent him the findings from the Kia Dealership had provided. He told me he'd call me back in 20 mins. He called me back and told me to they would pay for the repair! These two gentlemen handled the situation with professionalism and went above and beyond to assist me and my family and ensure a positive outcome for! They are the reason for the 4 star rating. The salesman is the reason they didn't didn't get 5 stars! Aziz and Daniel, thank you for your professionalism throughout this entire process!
2024 Genesis GV80 review
I’ve had a GLE and an Audi Q7 and this has truly been the only car I’ve bought and loved the longer I had it. The design to the technology is beyond what I was offered elsewhere at this price point.

2023 Subaru Ascent review
I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

2022 Jeep Compass review
Bought this 2022 Compass Trail Hawk new for my wife. Earlier this year (2025) we landed a sweetheart deal on a new 2024 Wrangler Sport S. Guess who inherited the Compass ? I stepped down from a Grand Cherokee but I have no regrets. It has had a few electrical teething issues but all have been resolved and have not come back. The handling and fuel economy are much better than the Grand Cherokee. There are only 2 downsides..........the size of the gas tank (13.5 gal vs 24.5) and the cargo space behind the 2nd row seats. I have easily adapted to both ! I want to give a shout-out to our local dealership, Tri-City CDJR. Start to finish, an excellent place to purchase and maintain our Jeeps. BRAVO ZULU !

I had a terrific experience at this dealership! I was very nervous going into this whole process as this was the first time ever buying a new car by myself. I had recently just had my previous car totaled by the insurance company unfortunately and needed to get a new car. (RIP to my Nissan Versa) I researched the car and trim level/features I wanted and then found dealers in my state that had the specific car I was looking for. I then weeded out the dealers that had poor reputations online. Nissan of Bowie had a good reputation online and also had the cheapest listing online for the exact car I was looking for (a 2025 Nissan Sentra SV with Cold Weather Package.) I showed up and met a salesman named Perfection. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable and helped me through the whole process. Unfortunately they didn’t have the exact car that was listed online available anymore but they were able to find one elsewhere and get it over to their dealership in a timely manner. Perfection and the sales manager were able to offer me a fantastic rate for the car and were very easy to work with. I did go visit another dealership before I pulled the trigger on the car at Bowie just to get a sense of what other places were offering and to get a little bit of leverage to negotiate. I did not have a good experience with the other dealership despite them offering me a slightly better price, about $200 less than what Bowie ended up agreeing to. The sales manager was very intimidating and not very friendly so I ended up going back to Bowie and we got a deal done. Perfection was very kind and patient with me as I struggled with several technical difficulties trying to fill out the paperwork and add the new car to my insurance. He managed to make the whole experience as stress free and easy as possible, given the circumstances. The sales manager was also very reasonable and was willing to work with me to get a fantastic deal. Finally I’d like to thank the finance manager, whose name I cannot remember unfortunately. He was fantastic and a really cool dude. I had difficulty making payment at first because my bank daily withdrawal limit was way below my down payment. It took forever to get my bank to raise the limit and then even longer to get the transaction to go through. He was incredibly kind and patient with me about the whole thing and I got to speak with him a little bit about life and past experiences and whatnot while we waited on hold forever with my bank to get their act together. (For those inexperienced at buying cars like I was, either make sure your bank cards daily limit withdrawal limits are high enough for what you plan to spend before you go to the dealership, or bring a checkbook or cash lol. Next time I buy a car I’m bringing my checkbook just in case as a backup anyway) In summary, if you are looking to buy a new car, Perfection and the whole team over at Bowie of Nissan will treat you right. And if they don’t have the exact car of your dreams on the lot, they will work quick to get you that car and will negotiate in good faith to get you a good deal. PS if you drive for Uber or do Uber Eats currently and have done at least 50 trips you can qualify for discounts on a large number of different new cars!
2021 Jeep Compass review
I had a really nice 2022 Chevy Equinox RS last year, but due to my commute over a mountain pass during winter, I was afraid it was going to get trashed. I decided to trade it in on a 2021 Jeep Compass Limited, believing that it would be a more rugged option. I am so impressed with my little Compass! Its leaps and bounds over the Equinox in my opinion. The Compass is more responsive, more comfortable and definitely more solid. I love how my doors unlock when I reach for the door handle. I love the tight turning radius (I’ve owned two Wranglers), and I absolutely how it handled compact snow and ice on the highway in Montana earlier this spring. I felt extremely safe driving my little Jeep Compass, whereas the Equinox always felt like it was “lightweight “. The only “bells & whistles” the Equinox had that the Compass lacks, is the remote rear door release on the fob and on the driver’s door and maybe the 9-speaker Bose sound. As long as I can listen to my memory stick with 5k+ songs with all 8-speakers working, I’m happy!! The mileage is comparable; the Equinox had a 1.5L 4 Cyl w/turbo and 6-spd transmission; the Compass has a 2.4L 4 cyl w/9-spd transmission, and I like having a little more meat under the hood. The Equinox is considered a mid-size SUV, Jeep Compass is a little smaller and rated as a “compact” SUV, however cargo capacity (cubic inch) is equal. The seats in the Equinox were very short under my behind, only extending halfway between my butt and my knees, if that, so long trips were not super comfortable. The shorter seats did allow for a little roomier cabin, which my husband liked, but since it’s my vehicle… yeah. I absolutely love my Jeep Compass Limited. I really wanted a Trailhawk model, and I might trade up to that version later, unless I can afford another Wrangler or ultimately a Gladiator. Summing it up, I am a Jeep Girl, and while I initially thought the Compass “isn’t really a Jeep”, I have happily been proven wrong. I refer to it as a Baby Jeep that wants to grow up to be a Wrangler Unlimited.

2023 Chevrolet Blazer review

I just passed down my 2018 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback Premier, and I was still learning the things that vehicle had, so I probably will never completely learn everything on this baby. 2020 Jeep Compass review
We own two 2018 Compass'. We have bought 3. We bought a 2007 brand new. It was a great car for 10 years and it got totaled. My wife currently drives a 2018 Compass and I just bought a second 2018 Compass yesterday. She drove a 2017 Ford Escape for while and didn't like it so we went back to the Compass. These are not without there issues. My wife's transmission started to get a hard shift last summer at around 55k miles. We had the trans fluid changed and currently at 65k no issues, no hard shifts. The dealership says that it is a "life time fluid." I don't agree. Find a good mechanic and have the trans fluid replaced every 30k miles and you should be fine. It cost much less than the one thousand dollars the dealership wanted to change it. I've also heard that the 2.4 liter Tiger Shark engines eat oil. We've own my wife's car for 3 years now and have not noticed any oil consumption. It's our travel car, and my wife travels a little for work so it puts on the miles. Smooth ride easy to drive for long trips, a little wind noise but it's not bad. The interior is nice. It actually has just a little more cargo space than the Cherokee. Infotainment is okay just a few quirks that I don't like but nothing major. The sound system is in my opinion one of the best. They changed the body style in 2018 and I think it's a really good looking car on the outside. The one I just bought is white with a black roof and blacked out badges and rims. Overall it's a great car and they are affordable. Do you research and make sure it's got a good service history. Best of luck!

We like the Jeep because I have a good experience with those cars, the first one was a Cherokee, the Compass it is very economical on gas especially on the highway, the only thing is that it doesn't have to open the trunk from inside the car not even with the key, I like it.

2023 Nissan Kicks review
A lot of pros to this vehicle. The only thing I wished Nissan would make better is, the pickup when ya hit the gas pedal. It is sluggish for a split second, and boggs down some... however, it runs great and after the sluggishness, it goes. Great passing gear and so easy to drive. All the bells & whistles on it alert you of every and anything you can think of. I appreciate those features. Comfort is top tier for me, the seats hug you and easy to adjust. The sound system, Bose, is amazing. Just too many features to speak about. Does great in gas in the city, haven't had it on any road trips yet. The kicks rides well also. Plenty of room and can haul a lot of things in it, as the back seats fold down. Only thing I can say negative about the vehicle is how it's sluggish/boggs down some for a minute when ya press gas to go. Hopefully Nissan fixes that in their new models here in out.

2023 Kia Forte review
Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

2024 Kia Telluride review
Have driven just over 20,000 miles so far. No issues. Drive between Clearwater and Gainesville regularly plus a couple other family trips and daily around town. Averages about 27 mpg at 75, quiet and pleasant ride. Trips were nice with good visibility front and back and plenty of room for stuff. Highly recommend.

Maintenance preformed when due, tires replaced at 45,000 miles, Brake job due now at 55,000 miles not any transmission, AC problems, the only complaint is the road noise. You have to take care of your car if you want it to last. I love my Rogue

I had a great experience with David Williams at Ourisman Kia Bethesda recently when buying a used Ioniq. He was extremely straightforward, helpful, and great to work with. Highly recommend. Best car buying experience in decades. There was none of the usual (lousy) back and forth, playing games; everything was straightforward with no surprises, no hidden fees, no bait and switch like I've seen at other dealers. I greatly value that. I started on their website looking at one particular vehicle and David answered on chat when I indicated an interest. Before I got too invested he volunteered that there was minor damage on the vehicle that didn't show on pictures. Other dealers would have not said anything and let me come in (a decent drive away) to try to sell me on something else, but David didn't do that bait and switch so I really appreciated that. He had other similar vehicles in stock so I decided to come on in anyways. When I arrived, the vehicle was not only already ready to go, they had put it through their detailing process right before I arrived. David encouraged me to take a longer test drive, and I was able to get a feel for the vehicle in a low pressure situation. He drove with me on my request and was very patient in answering my questions about the car and the dealership. We worked together to find a good deal that benefited both of us and I walked away very happy; I hope David and Ourisman did too. I really appreciate that when we finally started talking numbers, there wasn't that constant back and forth "let me bring it to my manager" dance. It was a very fast turnaround on price negotiation and I'm glad we didn't have any wasted time. Finalizing the deal went smoothly without problems. We've had the car now for a week and it's been great. As I said it's been one of the best buying experiences I've had. A+, highly recommend, would go again. 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport review
I have only owned the car about a month. I purchased pre-owned. The car does not have good acceleration. Slow in fact. That's my one complaint. A big complaint really. The car is fully loaded with all the bells and whistles a car can have. Once you plug your Android or iPhone into the outlet it will connect automatically to the car. One of my favorite features is the reading my text messages to me feature! NICE feature to have. I didn't want a big SUV, this size works perfect for me.

He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and even better, showed me with minimal research that the other car I was going to see had TWO previous accidents (shame on me for not seeing that) and they met me at the price I needed. So I ended up buying the Accord (very low mileage) at a great price. The best part was how easy Mark made the experience. My wife is on the loan but she didn't even have to be there. I drove the car off the lot about 2 hours after I arrived. They let me keep my old Honda in the lot until we were able to return that afternoon to pick it up. 2023 Jeep Compass review
My wife and I bought a 23' Jeep Compass Limited with 15K miles. We were looking for something small but also a vehicle that could offer 4x4. My initial impression of it at the dealership was that it has an awesome exterior paint color (granite crystal) and black wheels to compliment it. The car drives great on the highway and city. It's a very comfortable ride and the car can turn on a dime! I am currently averaging 30 mpg while commuting to work each day. I have noticed the car will sometimes have difficulty up shifting. As long as I apply more gas it eventually gets over it. Not a big deal for me as my last vehicle would do the same thing. The rear view camera is nice on the Compass, however it is completely useless at night. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

2017 Jeep Compass review
Now in my 6th year with my 2017 and still like it. My complaints are simple. Needs larger fuel tank, better gas mileage considering its size and engine, would prefer manual transmission, and get rid of the xxxx engine shut off function. Love the size, comfortable, still seems solid. My only repair was replacement of the satnav unit that crapped out.

2022 Jeep Cherokee review
I love my Cherokee overall. This is my 3rd one. Sadly I've noticed the quality slipping. Jeep no longer provides a spare tire - WHAT? The floor mats are now of lesser quality and no longer have the Jeep emblem embroidered on them. The transmission is still a little iffy but not as bad as my '15. The tail lights fill with condensation but the dealership tells me it is normal to do so - WHAT? Additionally you're never gonna be able to find a V6 anymore. I had to go down a year to a '22 in order to get one. They are pushing EVs and Hybrids. All this being said I'm still Jeep girl and still love my Cherokee.

The 2019 Chevy Equinox Premier 2.0 AWD is great overall. The 2.0 liter model is very reliable on the freeway and works wonderfully for family trips with children as the back seat is quite comfortable. The 1.5 liter model struggles to get up to freeway speeds in our prior test drive, but it doesn't feel like that at all with the 2.0 liter. The Bose Premium Audio does not have a subwoofer, but the speakers have a deep low range and provide the feeling of a full audio experience. It's quite entertaining when you are jamming out at high volume and your pantleg is rattling from the door speaker. Issue 1. The front seats are rather short leaving 4-5 finger widths from the end of the seat to the back of the legs which results in your legs feeling like they are dangling off the seat, whereas you want something closer to 2-3 finger widths. I am average height of 5'9", so this would be more uncomfortable for taller people. The passenger seat specifically presses into your right leg causing it to start to go numb after 30 minutes, so long road trips in the front passenger seat are quite uncomfortable. Issue 2. I have the 2.0 Premier AWD with every bell and whistle available, and it still "feels" like I am surrounded by plastic. I understand that Chevy is not a luxury brand, but the max comfort trim leaves much to be desired. Issue 3. The Adaptive Cruise feature will randomly disable itself in clear weather. It rarely happens, but it seems to happen for no obvious reason. Disabling Cruise Control and re-enabling it resolves the matter, so it is a minor annoyance more than anything. Something I found amusing - The owner's manual says to use 5w30 for all weather conditions above -20f, then has a caveat to use 0w30 in -20f conditions, and then on the next page has yet another caveat to use 0w40 in -20f conditions.

2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2015 Lexus LS 460 review
Very Luxurious Car inside and out, super reliable, never had any issues, drove the S500 and BMW 7 series before buying and liked this much better. Bought it used but it felt brand new. It is the best value luxury car available. Really amazing on long road trips or when you are in the car all day, it is like driving around in a recliner or a living room couch.
