Going in, I knew - 1) exactly what I wanted (model, color) and 2) I knew what I did not want (warranty, maintenance packages etc). I was replacing a 2006 Civic. We were very pleased to work with Holly Abbassi. We told her what I wanted and she listened. I do understand that dealers want to add things, but I didn't want extras. Holly did not push us at all, and the dealer gave us a fair trade in amount. She made sure we were taken care of, helped me get my phone set up, got my new car ready to drive away. We had him walk around the entire parking lot and look at all the color options for the cars. He drove us through the car wash just so we could properly appreciate the car when it's clean and shiny. He gave my mom and aunt trimmings off of the plant he had on his desk. He regularly offered us water and coffee. He was a great host and we definitely loitered for quite a while at his desk. 2021 Subaru Ascent review
7th Subaru for this Alaskan. This is the best I’ve ever had. Bought the Touring edition, new, & still blown away by the rig. Tested out with a cross country camping trip & comfort, adaptability, utilities, dependability - all a 5. Took a tent, but not even needed, w/firm foam to create a level, comfy bed area. Now I get why my cousin tried to replace his Ascent Touring with a Lincoln Navigator. Ended up selling the Nav to go back to an Ascent Touring. The first Sub I’ve had that Dad proclaimed ‘comfortable’ and ‘perfect’. I chose the Captains chairs for the 2nd seat, and passengers have loved the comfort & their view, as well as their controls, drink holders, etc. I love the options to simply control everything. Almost killed by a drunk driver long ago, I keep a very close eye on everything around me. Visibility in this rig is mind blowing. And that’s on top of all the cameras that monitor what’s happening. Safety features are perfect. Like listening to music, radio, podcasts? Sound in the Touring edition is heavenly. Very, very impressed with this rig.

Great car but excessive tones/beeps/alarms/etc. Jolting. You think something is wrong with the car. Especially the seat belt one—SCREAMS at you. Creates stupid drivers who rely on all these warnings.

I have worked with many of the service advisors at Ziegler Honda of Racine, Always very kind, very professional, very helpful and they explain things very well. My last visit I had Steven as my service writer, previously I have had Tim help me many times. Compared to many dealerships I’ve been at, Never had a problem. I’ve been to a few Honda dealerships and they’re always cocky with an attitude. These people are a joy to work with. They don’t try to oversell anything in their honest about what is necessary and what needs to be focused on doing the work on the car. I never feel uncomfortable or deceived in any way. I purchased both of my cars elsewhere and got horrible service. Next car I get will be from here and I will be bringing both my Hondas loyalty to this dealer. Don’t go to Honda of Kenosha. I brought cars there at least six times and never once had a good experience.
2021 Subaru Ascent review
We bought a new Subaru legacy in 22. Love this car. Had a Lincoln and had nothing but trouble with it so I sold it and bought a 21 accent. In my mind I took a step down at first. The more I drove the accent the more I don’t miss the Lincoln. The only issue I have had is a drivers window that will sometimes kicks back when closing. The drivers seat will squeak at times also. But I’m sure the dealer will fix it. Overall a very nice car.
