Searched diligently over a month. Setup alerts, bookmarked sites and even did drive by's. Was looking for a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid 2008-2010 - in great condition and reasonably low mileage. Just as I was about to give up and go for the very abundant FlexFuel models, one popped up on an alert. I drove a fairly good distance to Fullerton Auto Republic, and there it was. Great condition, very reasonably priced. My salesperson was Fred Yeon. Very courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. He got me a good deal which included a 2-year extended warranty. It's been over a month and a half and I am still extremely pleased with my Tahoe and the experience dealing with Fred and Auto Republic.

I love the car.

I really enjoy almost everything about the car. It drives well, good features, good mileage for AWD. I wish the body was not so low to the ground ( easy to scrape on curbs etc ) but I want a sedan and it seems all sedans now are low like this one nowadays.
A good experience! Paid for my car on the spot. Imber Rojas helped us so much, I love my new (used) car. He wasn't pushy and annoying like the typical car salesman. What a champ. Oh, and the free soda machine is rad.

My 2nd Subaru Forester

My 1st Forester is a 2009 turbocharged model which is still going strong with 110,000 miles. The newer Foresters offer safety and convenience features mine doesn't have so I decided to upgrade. The 2019 Forester no longer offers the turbocharged version so I opted for a certified pre-owned 2018 XT Touring which has a turbocharger. I love the vehicle but because the turbo is no longer available, the used turbo versions have become quite pricey. I am keeping the old one for hauling dogs, lawn equipment and towing my utility trailer. The new one will be just for people for now.
The vehicle is just the right size. I am 6'4" and would appreciate a little more leg room and thigh support but the Forester is as comfortable as any other small SUV I checked. There is plenty of headroom. The turbo does require premium fuel and has a lower mileage rating. With the turbo and sports tuned suspension, it is a fun vehicle to drive and worth the money to me. In over 10 years, the older one left me stranded only once when a drive belt broke after 100,000 miles. Based on reviews, I expect the same reliability from the newer one.
My husband and I just purchased our Chevy Silverado. Miguel and Walid was extremely helpful and patient with us guided us made it easy to make the decision on the truck. Unlike other dealers there's no push sales and everyone is very friendly and upbeat.

When it comes to safety, reliability, value for the money, and best of all it's performance in the snow, Subaru is hands down the VERY BEST. I would challenge any other car brand to beat any of these qualities in a car . . . no matter what the price!!!
James and Walid was amazing we had a great time doing business with STG it's not everyday you find a dealer that is so transparent in car business. They were knowledgeable definitely will do return here for all future purchases

A terrific combination

This car is perfect for me. It combines comfort, reliability, styling and exceptional performance on all types of roads. I have the Touring turbo model which is very quick off the line and hustles down the road easily when prodded. Combine all of that with the practicality of an SUV and you can understand why I am in love with it. I prefer to drive it over my other car (which I also love), a 3 series BMW, because it is as quick but much more versatile.
My family had a very positive experience with STG. Our sales associate, Imber Rojas, was very personable and easy to deal with. His easygoing, considerate, and communicative style was a refreshing contrast to the hard-sell, high-pressure approach sometimes encountered at other dealerships. Imber was the perfect sales associate to handle our transaction! Johnny, the sales manager we negotiated with, was friendly, patient, and flexible in working out a deal that fit our needs. Thanks, Imber and Johnny, for a great car-buying experience!

Like all owners say, the rev hang is annoying at best and detrimental to the transmission at worst. You'll have to get good at slipping the clutch to go fast. The shifter on the base model is clunky and imprecise. Sometimes it won't let me into gear and I have to pull out and try again.
The engine and suspension are nice, but are overshadowed by the poor transmission and driver experience.
Ivonne Garcia had been very helpful and showed me some matches I had been looking for, she’s very professional and I would recommend her with anyone looking for a new/used car.

Fabulous car, some downsides
by LeviRulez from Corvallis, OR

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.

Prices are market competitive when inspection & preparation fees are included - but the overall experience delivered with convenience at speed, well inspected/maintained cars with 5 day return & 30 days warranty is what will set this company apart. As a new immigrant to US, buying a car from Shift made my life easier as I didn't need to visit multiple dealers, understand the differences in services & pricing, no time spent on haggling the prices as it's not needed either, two test drives brought to my place at a time convenient for me & family thus we didn't have to face traffic etc, plus Shift is taking care of the DMW registration so it makes it whole lot easy. Both test Drivers were great and Emily from finance was particularly very patient & helpful with loan approvals.

I've bought a few used cars over the years and this was definitely the best dealership I've bought from! They brought the car to test drive, didn't pressure me into buying it, we're very polite, couple days later I bought my 2006 G35! Haven't had any problems with it the 4 months I've had it! Deffinitely would recommend them!

This car has everything: style, comfort, turning radius, large screen, touch buttons for everything , great handling, spacious, quiet interior, safety features to the max!
I decided to go to Huntington Beach for my Sonata Sport Plus, instead of the dealership where I got my Elantra from last year, and I was not disappointed. The dealership is friendly and puts clientel first. I wasn???t rushed to do anything, just make my decisions and go. It???s not everyday that people go the extra mile for you. I couldnt get someone to take me there, but the dealership was super understanding and came to take me to the dealership, where we did all the paperwork and i was able to drive off the lot. Not only that, Christina P, the one who sold me the Sonata and also came to pick me up, also had driven to MULTIPLE dealerships to get me the exact car i wanted. My family and family friends are hyundai shoppers, and we all go to the same dealership, so Huntington definitely has our business! 👍🏼??

This car just keeps getting better. Eyesight, Appleplay, auto door locks, improved display......I thought I loved my 2017 Outback!! Subaru continuously strives to improve upon what they have instead of trying to razzle dazzle you. I will never own anything but a Subaru.
This is my 4th Mazda. I did my research and test drive over 15 competitor cars only to land just where I started. All in all, Mazda is the best you can do for the price range and has the best options for features. Joe was a great salesperson. He asked me the right questions to determine the right fit for me. He stayed in close contact via text when I was not at the dealership (even when he wasn???t on the clock) which was incredibly convenient and even came in early for me one day so I could get an early start on my purchase. He was very respectful and I never felt pushed. I went on two test drives and he helped me to learn some of the new features that take some acclimating. By the time I got my car, I totally had it down. I appreciate the patience that Joe presented. The finance guy, Jake, on the other hand, was not so great and called me ???kid??? multiple times. Rather condescending. The Mazda experience was great until I was handed off to this guy. Unfortunate, it put a bad taste in my mouth when Joe had been fantastic throughout the process. I would have much preferred that Joe stayed present during this part of the process to see it through completion. Jake and I were 90% finished with the financing portion and another customer that showed up to pay cash for his car. He completely dropped me and made me wait 30 minutes to help the other customer first. I get that guy had cash, but thought that was rather rude and disrespectful of my time and the business I brought to the dealership. Joe - super thumbs up. Jake - thumbs down. I???m still giving 5 stars for Joe, but Jake did not deserve it.

Got me home during the biggest snow storms of the year.
People were even stuck in standard trucks and we still got through without any issues.
I went to get a car from a McKenna Dealership because of his reputation. His sales force did not disappoint. I felt like I got the car of my dreams within the price I could happily afford. I lease. Part of the appeal was all maintenance and service was included. I thought, "Okay, we'll see!" And I have.
McKenna Cars.com Service Center is a 5 star experience all around. Warm and inviting atmosphere. You know: Coffee, donuts, water, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable and clean waiting area. Professional interactions with EVERYONE. Service Manager and his staff took GREAT care of my car and me! I will always lease from McKenna because of the great care I receive.
