2023 Volvo XC60 review
This is 100% one of the best cars I’ve owned. Comparing it to my previously owned Acuras, Audis, BMWs, Buicks, Cadillacs, GMCs, Land Rover Range Rovers, Mercedes-Benzs, Porsches, Volkswagens, this is one of my top favorite vehicles for comfort, performance, technology, driving, etcetera. 2024 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

2018 Volvo XC90 Hybrid review
The XC90 T8 Inscription is one of the most beautifully appointed and comfortable vehicles I've ever owned. The tech is awe inspiring, but works seamlessly and is incredibly intuitive. I hear maybe the Q7 is a close competitor to this vehicle, but I have to say that maybe with regards to tech they may come close (doubtful given Pilot Assist in the Volvo), but in terms of interior quality, the Volvo kills anything that comes near it. And, it's a simply gorgeous looking SUV. We just bought the car a few days ago, so I can't really speak to the reliability even though the review required my input.

2019 Volvo XC90 review
This is my fifth Volvo. My most important feature in any car is safety, and this car is SAFE. It is super comfortable, reliable, attractive, and an all around great car. I had XC70's until this XC90. It was tough to switch, but I'm so happy. My only disappointment is that I have two big dogs and they can't both fit in the way back comfortably, so I have a crate in the way back and a crate in the middle with two seats folded down (one up for a passenger). Otherwise, it's a "10." No issues at all at 4 years in.

2024 Mazda CX-5 review
I absolutely love my 2024 CX5 Preferred. It's my first SUV and my first Mazda (after 3 Cutlasses, 2 BMW's, an Audi, an Acura, and 4 Lexus sedans) and I couldn't be happier. The interior is luxurious, the ride is powerful yet smooth and quiet (equal to Lexus) and the handling is great. I test drove a RAV4 and a CRV and there was no comparison. It's fun to drive and I recommend it whole-heartedly.

2017 Lexus GX 460 review
Fantastic SUV. Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. Snow, towing, hauling, groceries, and going to a nice dinner, this SUV does it all. Mine is 2017 Luxury with Driver Assist package fully loaded with tow package and captain's chairs. It is my 8th Lexus (my wife has her 3rd RX 350, my daughter has IS 250, and I have had an LS 460L ($104K car!) and two GX 350s, all loaded. All perfect and zero issues. I live in Ohio and I run Blizzak snow tires in winter. The traction is amazing. The sound system is better than in my LS and it is quieter than the LS. I hated my LS due to tiny trunk and is the only Lexus that did not suit my needs and taste, FWIW. I am 59 and retired aerospace engineer, and will drive my GX until it no longer runs, I no longer run, or there is no more gas to buy. I have been a Toyota/Lexus fanboy for 20+ years. The GX does everything that I want it to do and it does it very well. I enjoy it that much.

2015 Chevrolet Tahoe review
Bought my 2015 Tahoe new, 124,000 miles later no major problems with normal maintenance. Annoying interior lights flicker when brakes depressed, replaced front ball joints. Overall great truck, car must have built on a Wednsday.

2019 Mazda CX-9 review
We've had our 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature model for over three years. It's a very nice, smooth riding automobile and it's surprisingly fun to drive. The turbo charged four cylinder engine has more than enough pep. The interior is comfortable and durable. Yes, we had to replace the cracked infotainment screen but all was covered with the additional protection plan we purchased when we bought the car. We wouldn't hesitate to buy another CX-9.

I personally went to the socal honda website and contacted probably 75% of the dealerships in Los Angeles and Barry's deal was the best. From his calm attitude and demeanor, care, and respect for making things quick - we were in and out of the dealership within ONE HOUR and drove off the lot with our new car after our 2020 trade in. He made sure not to waste our time. Again, I can't recommend him and the team over there enough. I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. I am a first time Mazda owner and having commited to older (proven) technology in a changing turbulant world ( ICE engine not Hybrid or EV) I can only hope that this purchase plays out well.........Fingers crossed and happy motoring Zoom Zoom!

2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e review
I leased two 2020 Glc 350e, one for me and one for my son. We found almost immediately that his was a lemon. It broke down constantly with the message reading “pull over and turn off engine immediately”. After several months in and out of MB repair we hired an attorney and MB bought the car back as a lemon. Then i started to get the yellow “watering can” icon on my dashboard with about 2k miles on the clock and we thought mine was also a lemon. After three separate weeks in repair at MB a technician was finally able to fix the problem. Now at 14,600 miles and so far no other problems. I actually love driving this car and seriously considering buying at lease end in August.

2022 Kia EV6 review
This car is amazingly fun to drive: it has a ton of power and torque, and handles like a sports car. I have the Wind AWD w/ Tech Package. The cabin is a good mix of touchscreen and physical knobs/buttons. The Meridian sound system provides fantastic audio. There is a lot of space with the rear seats folded flat.

2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio review
Bought a used 2018 loaded Lusso Ti for a good price coming off a lease, in late 2021, for all the luxury and performance, it was a great deal, have had no issues, car looks great, is comfortable, and I just use Apple car play, and prefer knobs to touch screens ( it was funny to watch my son try to use it as a touch screen) can get 30 MPG on the hwy easy, but it's easy to go faster and get less. the DNA is Dynamic, Normal and Anemic, you do have to get used to the car not taking off instantly, D is OK, A not good for folks taking lefts on flashing yellows. Great ride and comfort for longer trips. and the backup warning works great!

2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio review
Best car I've ever owned! I've driven multiple luxury vehicles, and nothing handles better than my Stelvio. It's zippy, yet smooth. The A/C is the best I've ever experienced in a vehicle, the CarPlay is never finicky, and it is always such a relaxing drive (even in Houston traffic). I test drove a couple before I purchased, and I've never seen a model that was so consistent across all of their vehicles. I have had no major issues with this car, and it is severely underrated!

2017 Lexus RX 350 review
Bought this 2017 Lexus RX 350 used. I always wanted one of these vehicles. I am not disappointed. Love how it drives and handles. Love the look. Plenty of room on the interior. My only complaint would be the front seat comfort. My Wife had a Acura MDX and it’s way more comfy. The seats in the MDX have more cushion and just all around more comfortable. One other thing is I wish it had the auto lock feature when you walk away with the key fob. Other than that it’s a sweet ride. Love the V6 and the transmission. Smooth shifting. Ride is soft. Cabin is very quiet. All in all I would rate it 9 out of 10 stars. I would buy it again!!

Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

2020 BMW X3 review
This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

2024 Mazda CX-90 review
Purchased the PHEV a little over 1 year ago and put 12K+ miles on it so far, and I like it a lot. Its stylish, quiet and great on gas. I consistently get over 70+ MPG around town and 35+MPG on longer trips. However, I *strongly recommend* the L2 charger as it cuts charging time down to 2.5 hour with 29 miles range. Without it, the L1 charger takes forever. I went with a 30W auto splitter on my dryer plug for under $140 on Amazon. Its amazing! However, even if you switch to gas, the Hybrid system averages 26 MPG with standard driving. My only complaint so far is the connection to Google/Apple play sometimes drops for seemingly no reason 1-2 times a week and the reactive driving can be touchy. Overall, very reliable and fun to drive. I highly recommend.

2016 Porsche Macan review
I think most of people here have not driven a Macan 3.6 Turbo engine with 400+ HP. This car is amazing you can't compare this one with other lower Macan models. this is the one to have.. We owned several Porsches including Cayennes turboS. This is a compact daily driving machine with Lot's of power and is fully loaded. The turbos 3.6 cost over $100K after taxes for a reason , Please don't compare this model with other low built Porsches for middle class, this is a High End Vehicle for a reason ...maybe the same as compare the Boxer with a 911 Turbo S.

2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
Great redesign. Much roomier interior. I have the gas hybrid and gas mileage is great. The only complaint I have is the middle console. The material used scratches easily and shows fingerprints as well.

2022 Toyota Corolla Cross review
I LOVE my 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a car more. It’s the perfect size for me. It has great visibility and I love the amenities like having parking sensors and navigation. It has mood lighting inside, auto brights which my previous car did not have. There are so many little things I love about this car. Also, Toyota came out with many “Easter eggs” with the Corolla Cross logo, which are always fun to find! The ride is comfortable. I’ve done a 14 hour drive to Colorado within the first year of owning the vehicle and it handled perfectly. It also snowed while we were there and we had no challenges navigating the mountains while in my FWD Corolla Cross. This was my first new car and I’m so impressed! Toyota has great reliability and I’m glad I chose the Corolla Cross as my first new car!

2008 Lexus GX 470 review
I love it other than the peeling paint. Have never had any other issue. I purchased off lease with 13k miles. Wish I had not gotten white. Not giving 5 stars because of paint issue. I paid a fortune for it and the paint should have lasted.

2016 Lexus GX 460 review
Had my 2016 gx for a year and a half now got it wit 50,000 miles 2 previous owners drove it across the country twice has a 113,000 miles now and hasnt given me one problem just regular service and maintenance. I highly recommend this vehicle. Switched to lexus from GM and its the best decision I ever made.
