2024 Acura RDX review

2023 Toyota bZ4X review
I have a 23' Limited and love it. Mine is a front FWD, listed for $51,700 paid $47,700. I bought it site unseen. It is a pleasure to drive. I was not looking for an EV but very pleased. Just know the 280 range is realistically 220 miles. When you turn the heat or A/C on it changes the range. That is all EVs. I have owned many Toyotas and I believe in their products. Many companies are having trouble selling their EVs, so go get a great deal. Its very fast and fun to drive.

You'll find this hard to believe but we came back today and traded four cars for four cars with him today. We traded the Tahoe for a Traverse and I finally got into a Trail Boss. We also traded the teenage boys vehicles and we did it all without getting divorced! Joe Koebke did it all while getting up and done a hundred times after having his hip replaced a couple weeks ago. 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV review

2020 BMW X3 review
This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

I purchased a Chevy Silverado 2500HD from Bob Brown Chevrolet on New Years Eve 2025. We had only a very short window of time to get the deal done. My salesman was Nolan Mitchell. Nolan was very responsive, communicated well and was hungry to do business. He handled the sale perfectly! I knew that there would be extra challenges and risk because this was an out of state purchase. I am in Massachusetts and the truck was in Iowa. I bought the truck sight unseen. When the truck was eventually delivered, it was everything I had hoped for. Initially, the truck was missing a spare key and transmitter. Nolan made sure that, in time, I got the spare key and transmitter! Other dealerships maybe wouldn't have done that for me. I think this speaks volumes about their character and how they do business. Other challenges included getting the truck registered and titled in Massachusetts even though it was purchased in Iowa. Mass RMV does not make things easy! Bob Brown Chevrolet's title department worked with me every step of the way to get the truck legal in Massachusetts. Kelcey Firestine in the title department was simple awesome! 2023 BMW X3 review
Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
This is our second Mach-E purchase. Our first was a 2021. We chose to sell it and get a 2025 Mach-E Premium. The 2025 gets revised suspension that is so much better than the previous years, which was bouncy. You can also now get the premium without the glass roof. I do not like the glass roof, so getting the premium features without it is great! Excellent power, comfort and features at a pretty good price. Love the style, too!

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
Exterior interior design of this car is absolutely fantastic! I got the premium edition with the premium interior and performance package, including special front air, dam, and Brembo brakes in the front. I couldn’t be happier with this car and in love with it!!! the front seats are a little stiff. Maybe that’s because it only has 5000 miles on it? I just completed a 300 mile trip and loved every mile.

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander review
Driving over a year now, comfortable ride. Many features on the Black Edition. Automatic headlights, wipers, panoramic roof, heated seats, wiper defroster, heat/ AC works very well. Car has standard headlight washer...long hold or after so many windshield washings... just a few. Only drawback! The integrated navigation..used TOMTOM that is very poor feature. Unable to have an update. Map has trouble accurately find places...if local destination..gives location sometimes in other places or even states.

2015 GMC Terrain review
I bought this vehicle used over a year ago with 99 k miles on it. Other than routine maintenance; oil changes, brakes and filters it has performed well. Very comfortable ride, roomy and comfortable interior, features and options are numerous with lane departure side and frontal spacing warnings, back up camera, sun roof and roof rack, blue tooth and more. I don't understand the negative reviews as I am pleased with this vehicle.

2017 Jeep Patriot review
CVT trans went out at 90,000 miles. Prior to that I called the dealership and’s was told it was too early to get serviced. Kept driving another 1k. Afterwards the trans went out ! xxxxxx me off. Car still sits in driveway not driven. Solenoid that controls speed is stuck. When you give it gas it slows down. Every auto shop I call says it’s not worth rebuilding trans because you can’t find parts. Dealership says they only swap them out and new trans is $8,700 that’s with labor! 8 week back order for trans. Ridiculous… $8,700 is another car. I gave insight to say this; buyer beware of CVT transmissions. Use your own judgement for service. Get it looked at every 30k miles. Try to buy a car that doesn’t have one. Lesson learned…

2016 Jeep Patriot review
I purchased a new 2016 Jeep Patriot Sport SE and have now owned if for 9.5 years with 150k miles. No issues, no leaks, kept it maintained following manufacturer guidelines, zero major repairs. Great vehicle for daily driver, hauling kayaks, bikes and other toys. Drove through dry, wet, snow, sleet and spent most weekends on forest service roads heading towards a hike. Just took it on a 1400 mile trip and it gave us 26.4 mph!

2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV review
The car is a floating couch it’s so comfy! The tech is so cool and the big screen gets compliments all the time. Once you get use to its little quirks it’s an awesome car. I wish it charged a little quicker had better speakers and was a little more powerful but those three are fair trade offs for the value and comfort. Looks super cool too my nephew calls it a space car haha.. Good job Chevy!

2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport review
bought this car in 2018 in the first year had problems with the engine and emission system. Heat shield underneath the car made noise for a few months before the deal finally found a solution . The engine got a crack around the 45k mark and Landrover replaced the engine. Ever since then I have had no problems except for routine maintenance with this car and just hit the 105k mark.

2024 Dodge Hornet review
After about a month of ownership, this is easily the most interesting car I’ve ever owned. It doesn’t feel like a typical Dodge at all, which is exactly why I bought it. The interior is genuinely nice, with soft-touch materials and real buttons where you actually want them. The driving experience is quick and responsive, and the plug-in hybrid system is perfect for short daily drives where I can stay in electric mode most of the time. What really stands out is how people react to it. Everyone assumes it’s something European, and when I tell them it’s a Dodge, there’s always a moment of confusion. It definitely feels more like an Alfa Romeo wearing a Dodge badge, in a good way. There are a few quirks. The app can be a little dramatic with old alerts, and you can tell it’s a newer platform still finding its footing. But nothing has impacted actual drivability. The car has been solid so far. The value is where this really shines. At the price I paid, it feels like I got way more car than expected. It’s fun, different, and doesn’t blend into the sea of generic crossovers. If you want something practical but still a little bit unique, this is worth a look. Also removed the dealership sticker immediately. I’m not providing free advertising.

While waiting, we decided to look around at the new 2019 RDX's. Alen Zenkovic, the salesman came out right away and was very personably and kind in showing us the changes in the new 2019 RDX. He let us even take another car out for a drive, however, we decided we liked the RDX better. Long story short, who buys another new car after only seven months? Well, we did! He was very patient and kind and he drew up an offer as we sat across from him in his office for a new 2019 RDX Accura! He was very professional, but very kind in his mannerism in dealing with us. Ended up after wheeling and dealing, and with no pressure on his part and with patience, an offer was agreed upon and we were the new owners of an Accura 2019 RDX. Alen was very kind in showing us all the new technology in the computer system inside the car with patience, as there is a lot to learn! We enjoyed his expertise and kindness in dealing with us! 2023 Ford Bronco Sport review
Bought new. 50k on the odometer. Nothing of any concern has happened and Ford has a generous 10k miles between maintenance intervals. Stock tires on the Badlands did not last anywhere near their projected life. With the new tires I’m getting around 28mpg now. The badlands GOAT modes have gotten me through a lot of OHV trails and forest roads. The suspension articulates well. Anything I’ve dared to ask it do it has done.

2021 Acura RDX review
Best vehicle Acura has made in last 15 years. Test drive an RDX Advance SHAWD package on sport mode for 15-20 mins and you’ll be sold. Beautiful airy cabin with pano, and the ELS sound system is killer! 2.0 turbo engine + 10 speed trans are bulletproof. Have my RDX Advance for 2 years now and will enjoy it for at least another 5 years. These are made to last, much like my 2006 TL that I have for over a decade, with 200k+ troublefree miles on the clock.

2019 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

2020 Mazda CX-5 review
Purchased my 2020 Mazda CX-5 while actually shopping for a Nissan Rogue. I Purchased from a Nissan dealership which I'll never do again if I ever purchase another Mazda. The vehicle was listed for $23,899.00 with 23,633 miles. Love the power and over all handling of the vehicle. The Machine Gray Metallic color is awesome as well.. Read alot of good things about the CX-5 as well as some horror stories. To soon to tell with just owning it a little over a month but hoping for the best time will tell..

2023 Toyota bZ4X review
What I do not like Remote start: There is no option just to start the HVAC, you have to start the car. The car needs to be locked. Why not combine 2 functions - lock first, then start HVAC. After getting into the car and starting, a number of features do not work and need manual intervention: Auto setting for heated seats and steering wheel Phone no longer connects. Manual intervention needed to connect CarPlay (several taps) I have not been able to get scheduled HVAC going from the app. Multi-Information display is almost obstructed by steering wheel. And I am 6’2”. Steering-wheel buttons are crowded. Setting, canceling, resuming buttons are close together and I need to look at the wheel to find the right button. Audio volume is much easier with a knob… I had to restrict the upper range of the lift gate opening so it would not hit the garage door. Now I hit my head on the lift gate edge if I am not careful. My car came with only 1 key fob. Several months later still no 2nd fob. Heat takes a long time to come on. Lack of recording cameras, like Tesla. Knob to put in Drive or Reverse. Easy to select the wrong direction. Pushbuttons are easier. Only randomly is CarPlay activated when starting car. I only want Carplay. What I like Auto parking brake. Seats are comfortable. Easy to drive the car smoothly. Comfortable. Auto heated seats and steering wheel. Qi wireless charger Wireless CarPlay (will not buy a car without it) Rubber car mats. Overall comments: I like the car, but the interfaces in the Hyundai Kona Electric I had previously were better.
