2023 Mazda CX-5 review
I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

2023 Nissan Rogue review

Id payed 17,500 for it in 2017 Rav4 and when I traded it in I got 18,000 for it when I brought a new 2025 rav4,Keeps its value..... I had 2 2017 rav4 and got the same deal 18,000 for it. So I payed 32,000 for 2 rav4 2025...... 34,000 price minus the 18,000 trade in made it 16,000 each one. Like I like got 2 for the price of one.

2019 Buick Envision review
I’ve had my 2019 Buick Envision since January of this year (2023). We were traveling from GA to MS today and for the first time ever after hitting a bump two different times (a couple hours apart) our vehicle started vibrating and shaking terribly. Very concerning.

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
This is the best Jeep Wrangler model ever made. The past YJ, TJ, JK models are great, but this Jeep JL 2018 Wrangler Sahara Automatic V6 is the best one yet. The comfort and modern amenities are top of the line. The 8” infotainment head unit and Alpine sound system is out of this world. The interior fits my family of four and has enough cargo space for a stroller, scooter, Onewheel XR and beach chairs. The exterior needs no introduction with its iconic round headlights and seven slot grill. Followed by a three piece removable top, which I managed to take off and put back on by myself. FYI, don’t try doing this by yourself. My final favorite thing about my Jeep JL is the ability to customize the Jeep with all of the amazing aftermarket parts and pieces. This allows you to take the best looking car on the road and make it your own.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek review
Too early to be sure of reliability, but my previous 4 subarus were great. I came here to say how much I like this new purchase, a used '24. Great cruise features. Good power & performance (2.5L) so I'm happy with the CVT. I just love it. They're still a bit lighter and noisier than the outback/legacy versions.

2022 Hyundai TUCSON Hybrid review
Ive owned an SEL Convenience from new. It has an incredible performance for a Hybrid. It has a quiet, has a fabulous tiptronic transmission (with paddle shifters) with an amazing sport mode. The thing is, that if you use too much right foot, your gas mileage goes down by about 10mpg ... but it does with any car, right ? If you drive smoothly and don't accelerate hard the gas mileage can go to over 40mpg ! At 55-65mph on level pavement, it gives great gas mileage .. but accelerating at traffic lights or going fast up gradients doesn't. Thats what happens with performance vs economy. This car is well built and has great space and grace. Those that criticize the gas mileage must be "pedal to the metal" people! The sound system and Apple/Android access is really good - better than many other car brands. The warranty is amazing and so is the service support network. I'm sad to be selling my SEL Convenience because I going abroad. I'll definitely get another one when i return.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
This is our second RAV 4. The ride is nice, the pickup is great for a 4 cylinder. Our 2012 RAV is a V6 and pickup when getting on the freeway is amazing. The 2024 is equally great. The exterior is sleek and very sharp looking. Looks better than some of the high end cars.

Really. * 500+ mile range on a full tank * Toyota's driver assist goodies work well (radar cruise, et. al) to reduce driver fatigue in both stop-and-go commuting and highway trips. * Sufficient power and acceleration to compete with big-city freeway traffic; uphill freeway on-ramps and so forth. * Nicely agile without being skittish. It goes where you tell it to with no drama. * I have done mild off-roading in Arizona. No problems, handles as hoped for. CONS: * Only one I can think of. Front seats are stiff. I find myself shifting my weight to get comfortable more often than I like.

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
The car has been great with one glaring exception. The 2023 Rav 4 navigation system and manuals explaining it are far from easily understood by some of us with advanced degrees and years of experience in writing and interpreting complicated financial documents. The 2023 Nav screen is as much a distraction as driving while using a mobile phone a highly discouraged practice., perhaps more dangerous. Our 2028 Rav 4's Nav system and manual were easily understood. intuitively structured and easily used during our drives and with a safe screen. Somehow the 2023 version escaped those virtuous characteristics and is one that has made me start to consider trading our 2023 in after 7 months.

2007 Honda CR-V review
In 2026, I received a 2007 Honda CRV EX from my father who no longer can drive. The vehicle is 19 years old and only has 89K miles on it. The ONLY major repair I had to make on this vehicle is a A/C Compressor for $1600. Other than that, the car has been meticulously maintained. I change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 using Idemitsu synthetic 5w20 oil using a Japanese made oil filter by Honda. The car still runs flawlessly and my goal is to get at least 300K miles or more. The K24Z1 engine with the 5 speed automatic transmission is bullet proof and as long as I change the transmission fluid every 30K and oil changes every 3-4K miles, the vehicle will easily make it to 300K. Best engine/transmission combo Honda ever had.

Overall it?s great. It doesn?t come with Apple play but I can for go that feature considering it didn?t always work in other cars and trucks I?ve driven. My E-Pace S is comfortable find to drive and loaded with nice features. Love how it was designed inside and out. My husband and I were so overwhelmed with our car search and were worried coming here may be just one more example of the sleazy used car salesman trope--we could not have been more wrong!! Joseph listened attentively to what mattered most to us in functionality, comfort, and price, and helped us to find many options that would be a good fit for us. We had a list of some we were interested in and he recommended some others that would fit the ticket well. He was so patient and informative as we test drove countless cars! Seriously, this guy is like a walking car encyclopedia! But also, isn't afraid to look something up if he's not sure, which rarely happens. It felt like car shopping with your cool uncle who knows everything about cars and is looking out for you. Can't recommend enough asking for Joseph when you need your next car!! He can pull almost any car from another Autonation location, so it's worth going here to work with him even if it's out of your way or doesn't have the car you think you might want! We wound up not finding our vehicle within the Autonation inventory, but still wanted to go out of our way to leave a review for Joseph because he made that much of an impact! A great ally in the stressful, overwhelming process of a big purchase :)

2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
Purchased used in July 2025. Great gas mileage. Smooth, quiet ride. I enjoy many of the features of this loaded model. But there are a few things that are slightly annoying. As the car slows down, it sounds like an emergency vehicle. I found myself looking around for a squad or an ambulance until I realized it was the engine whining. Second, the radio cuts in and out. Never had this problem on other vehicles. I live in a metropolitan area and have strong station signals. So this has me baffled. Fortunately I can sync my phone playlist and enjoy my favorite tunes. The weather is always lagging and sometimes reads cloudy when it’s pouring down rain. Lastly, I have not figured out how to cancel a destination on the map navigator. It also cannot find my address and has me going to a completely different town if I need to get home from an unfamiliar area. Maybe it needs an upgrade but was hoping that was automatic and cloud based.

2024 Lexus NX 350 review
2024 NX 350 F Sport has some great options I didn't know I'd ever need. Being able to customize just about everything is great. The Lexus system itself is easy to use but takes getting used to coming from a 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. Heads-up display, the large display screen is great, although I will say the climate controls are a bit awkward to use. It's easy enough to turn off, but turning it on is another issue. The safety features are awesome, from not being able to open the driver door if traffic is coming from behind to the lane assist, I am super happy with it. The F Sport has some giddy-up that is no joke, there are settings you can utilize; Eco, Normal, Sport, and Sport +. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages, but all are top-notch. The interior has a beautiful, sleek design that screams luxury. The only thing it is missing is the panoramic sunroof I am used to. That being said, I am very happy with my purchase.

2025 Lexus NX 350 review
I got the option to test drive a hybrid NX. And after driving it I can honestly say I'm much happier driving my NX350 gas version (I have a 2025 NX 350 Luxury). First I notice the hybrid felt under power, and then I realize that my gas version has a stronger engine with the turbo. Second the sound that the hybrid makes like a droning noise, did not like that. The driving experience on my gas feels great compare to the hybrid version. Now I did not do a road test with the plug in, but from everything I have heard that is the one to get. At this moment don't have a house, so gas is the best option for me. But after we buy our house then i feel like the plug in is the way to go, especially with the bigger horse power. And yes I understand the save in gas of a hybrid but I'm spending big money on NX and I want to enjoy the drive. If i want to save money then I will go for Toyota and save a lot more on gas. (the 350h is for people who want to save money on their gas bill and 200hp is enough as they want luxury from A to B and don't need it to be fun). So that for me is not a factor, for me is the drive and the comfortable of a luxury product. And yes I get it Lexus luxury ain't what it used to be many years ago, but in 2024 it's better then a Toyota luxury. Example RAV 4 limited vs NX luxury, I prefer to spend more money on the NX for the luxury level in todays market of 2024. 2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. I have a YouTube channel where I post occasional videos, showing what it’s like to own an electric car in your silver-haired years. If you have questions, drop by and ask away.

2025 Tesla Model Y review
This car is mind blowing! It is elegant and grown up, unlike some of the faster competitors. Driving this car is like a dream, everything works! The stability control is far superior to anything I've driven from stock! To put a cherry on the top, it drives for you! No more fender benders from stop and go traffic.
