2016 BMW X6 review
I absolutely love my x6! I bought her 3 years used, and still drives like new years later. I enjoy the heated seats but mostly sport mode- she growls! Amazing. The x6 has less sway than it’s “brother” the x5 due to the coupe shape, with a lower center of gravity. Haven’t had to take her in for anything but annual maintenance. Dream suv

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
I has never envisioned myself buying a Hyundai until I looked at them. I quickly fell in love with the looks of the Santa Fe and Palisade. I chose the Palisade because it was bigger and I chose the Hybrid because of the wonderful reviews I read about it. So far the car droves like a dream. I think it is a car that looks as good as similar mid size SUV's at a much higher price. And I know the reviews for reliability and performance are often better than the more expensive competitors. My only complaint might be all the high tech stuff I have to learn about it. But I think that is pretty much the same with all new cars these days. Bonus is my Palisade has a wonderful Bose system that sounds fabulous. Hyundai has won this GM abd Chrysler girl over!

2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

2024 Mazda CX-90 review
Purchased the PHEV a little over 1 year ago and put 12K+ miles on it so far, and I like it a lot. Its stylish, quiet and great on gas. I consistently get over 70+ MPG around town and 35+MPG on longer trips. However, I *strongly recommend* the L2 charger as it cuts charging time down to 2.5 hour with 29 miles range. Without it, the L1 charger takes forever. I went with a 30W auto splitter on my dryer plug for under $140 on Amazon. Its amazing! However, even if you switch to gas, the Hybrid system averages 26 MPG with standard driving. My only complaint so far is the connection to Google/Apple play sometimes drops for seemingly no reason 1-2 times a week and the reactive driving can be touchy. Overall, very reliable and fun to drive. I highly recommend.

My wife and I experienced a serious overheating problem in our Santa Fe while driving from our home in Kansas City to Chicago. We found Kunes Hyundai online and were blown away by the superior service they offered. Kyle served as our service advisor, and he went above and beyond to take care of us. He patiently explained the problem, told us they had to order a part, and promised the vehicle would be done by Tuesday. When I left the facility, Kyle said he was on the phone trying to work a little magic to get the part sooner. I don't know who he called or what he said, but he worked the magic. The part came on Monday, and they had the Santa Fe fixed and back to us a day ahead of schedule! That was tremendous. We were already sold on the Hyundai, but this experience reminded us again of why we are on our third vehicle. The level of customer care is off the charts at Hyundai. And Kyle is the best service advisor we've ever had. The repairs fixed the problem and got us safely back home to Kansas City. I would gladly recommend Kunes Hyundai without hesitation. 2024 Hyundai TUCSON review
I have a 2024 Tuscan XRT .I bought slightly used and now has 17k miles . It has been a fantastic car. Initially wanted the SEL convenience hybrid for the gas mileage but couldn’t justify spending an extra $4-6k to save a few hundred dollars on gas a year. My non- hybrid has gotten amazing gas mileage. Averaging 28-29 mpg mostly stop and go, some highway. Way better than the estimates of 23-28mpg. The EPA estimates are way off ! The Tuscan drives so smooth and so quiet. The 8 speed transmission is amazing! It shifts quickly and so smoothly . The cabin is extremely quiet. I think there is more insulation/ sound proofing than the hybrid versions that try to cut down on weight. You don’t hear any road noise in theTuscan !The suspension is smooth and adsorbs every bump . The most surprising positive is the handling. There is absolutely no body roll and handles like it is on rails! I have owned a lot of vehicles and this handles better than anything in this price range. Handles better than any Subaru, better than the BMWs I have had. Feels like I am driving an Audi A4 which is pretty impressive. The seats are extremely comfortable, the stock radio sounds great, lots of legroom and the passenger and cargo room is amazing. Back seats hold full size adults and the seats recline! The cons. Not very many. The 0-60 could be better. However, it shifts so quick and smoothly you don’t notice any issues with speed/ power. A few reviews say 0-60 in like 9 +seconds . I don’t think this is accurate. My guess is high 7s -low 8 seconds but haven’t tested it. It doesn’t have sports car speed but it sure handles like one. For long drives and a daily driver, I would take the comfort / quietness and handling of Tuscan over a muscle car.

2015 Chevrolet Suburban review
Purchased this used from a dealer - one previous owner. Vehicle was well kept, has proven to be reliable with surprisingly good highway mileage. The entertainment package silences children more effectively than a nun's shhh in church. There is ample space for people and/or cargo. The tow capacity will come in handy next.

2018 Honda Pilot review
This is the first Honda I have ever owned and will likely be the last as I expect it to out live me lol. We travel back and too from North Georgia to SW Florida and the car is so comfortable that I make the drive in one day. We get good gas mileage and the Pilot is a nice looking car with plenty of power.

2024 Mazda CX-90 review
It’s been such a pleasure to own and drive the cx90! My only complaint is I wish it got better gas mileage. The AWD works very well, the inline 6 is more than enough power to drive the vehicle fully loaded with luggage and 6 passengers for 4 hour trips. Overall it’s been an excellent vehicle to own a drive. Driving is believing!

2018 Lexus GX 460 review
Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.

2022 Land Rover Defender review
Let me start by saying I love Land Rover products, have owned a few, and I love this car but... I've had more electronic issues with this car than all previous combined. Granted, it has a lot more technology than previous models I've owned, so there is that. Land Rover frequently sends software updates to the car that must be downloaded. It takes several attempts to ever get them to work/download properly. The last one I received I finally had to take it to the dealer to let them do it (after several weeks of trying). Additionally, the camera system had to be replaced for intermittent interruptions that progressively got worse over a few months time (car is a year old now). Big problem for this car b/c it's difficult to see out of the car and the cams are a necessity. Beyond the electronic issues, the car looks great and performs well on my ranch where I actually need a car that can get around in all weather conditions and on the inclines and rough terrain we have - plus I just enjoy driving it. Hoping they work out the electronics. I plan to keep the car for a good while.

My initial review is posted at the bottom. I have changed my rating from do not buy, to good. It appears that KUNES Sycamore has recently hired a very competent Jerome Witt who, albeit after 6 months resolved my issue within a couple of days. If you have an issue with KUNES, I highly recommend contacting Jerome. Below my original Issue: If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from November 5, 2022 By pljo on DealerRater If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from this non-responsive dealership, I consider my efforts a success. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. Bought this as one of the first gv70 an out. The car is probably one of the nicest cars I’ve owned, I’m 76 so I’ve had a few. Great styling inside and out. Service has been a struggle at some dealers. I have 18,000 miles on the car and so far no complaints

2019 Land Rover Discovery review
I have owned my 2019 Land Rover Discovery SE since 2020 and have not had any major issues with the vehicle. I now have over 50K miles on it and it has been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. The Cadillacs and BMWs that I have owned in the past were constantly at the OVM dealerships for issues covered under warranty. This vehicle only had one problem with the Pano Roof shade that was replaced under warranty. Other than that, no other issues. It’s been a very pleasant ownership experience overall. The vehicle has the Supercharged V6 engine. It is my understanding that’s also a critical factor for top reliability. Excellent power when you need it. One last thing to mention is that off-road, this vehicle is fantastic. I put larger off-road tires on it and it has been a very fun and capable off-road vehicle and family cruiser. Best of both worlds. I would recommend this vehicle all day.

2020 Honda Pilot review
Waited to give an honest review. 4 years later, I know have 109,000 miles on my 2020 Pilot Tour. The bad: It developed the known crackle sound coming from the speakers. This was fixed under warranty twice. The second time not coming back and has been fine. The looks are "meh". My wife's Nissan of similar trim level has a far nicer interior and much fancier seats. On curves the "warning" light flashes on my dash and the steering wheel shakes sometimes if a car is coming from the other direction. It's annoying, but I hear a problem for many manufacturers with these safety features, not just Honda. The Good: I consider my Pilot practical. It does everything well, just not flashy. My previous car was a 2012 Honda Pilot that I put 190,000 trouble free miles on. This Pilot with an updated transmission feels MUCH quicker. It is much easier to drive. It handles well, averages around 24 mpg on my commute (non expressway), and has been trouble free outside of the speaker issue. It hauls the family well, with lots of room, especially if the 3rd row is not used. I put on the dealer installed trans cooler and trailer hitch to tow a couple of waverunners, which it hauls easily. If you can get past the "ok" styling, it is a car that does everything well and my reliability has been very, very good so far.

2022 Honda HR-V review
Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. 2014 Honda CR-V review
Bought in 2017 with 35K on it, this is my second CRV and fifth Honda since '95. It now has @ 140K on it and it drives almost like new. I had one major repair, a new drive shaft ($1100) which was the FIRST major repair on ANY of my Hondas since '95. Reliable and then some. Great resale value.

2024 Honda Pilot review
After almost 180,000 trouble-free miles with our 2015 Pilot and an excellent Honda dealer near by, we really didn’t look hard at anything but another Pilot when it was time for a new car. Our EXL, purchased in March 2024, just turned 20,000 miles. We have had no issues with it, and the trip computer says we have averaged 27.1 mpg over the last 5500 miles. That is about 4.5 mpg better than the 2015. The good: It is extremely roomy and comfortable, even the third-row seats. We are very pleased with the fuel economy for a vehicle of this size. The headlights are the best we’ve had on any vehicle. I really like the rugged looks, especially compared the the previous generation. It’s great on snowy and slippery surfaces. The not-as-good: This is my first vehicle with all the modern safety aids. I find the lane-departure system annoying, especially in construction zones. The first time I backed out of the garage with bikes on a hitch-mounted carrier, the car automatically slammed on the brakes so hard I thought I ran into something. (Pro tip: Use tow mode when hauling bikes.) I don’t use the adaptive cruise control because it starts matching the speed of the vehicle ahead long before I would normally change lanes to pass, even with the system adjusted accordingly. However, I can’t see that future vehicles will have FEWER of these features, so I suppose I will just have to get used to them.

I can honestly say I’m not one of those people who usually writes a review. But this time I was compelled to write a review. From my brand specialist Ernie Alvarez to the fabulous finance manager Josh Bruhn I can’ say I never had a better experience purchasing a car. Most of the time I’ve dreaded going into a car dealership feeling like I was going to be taken advantage of or not taken care of or I was gonna have to haggle, haggle,haggle. From walking into the door I was greeted with a warm smile a comfortable confident handshake. Ernie was a great salesman! He gave me all of car information, gave me the Carfax showed me the price I was getting made sure I was comfortable. These should be things that you get from a car dealership but they are not things that you always get. If you look to purchase a car new or used car the Audi exchange in St Charles ask for Ernie Alvarez he’s is your guy. The finance manager was fabulous !!! Again that’s not something you normally say about a car dealership’s finance manager. I have already had my preapproved financing when I walked in, had a nice rate he went the extra mile and found me an even better rate. Got me a fabulous price with my warranty and made sure I knew all that the warranty entailed. Great dealership it was over an hour away from me and I was looking for a particular used car that they had and I am so glad that I chose that dealership. I can wholeheartedly recommend this dealership.
2021 Chevrolet Tahoe review
Had engine issues but GMC resolved. Love the air ride. Handles well on the road. Gas mileage is typical for these suvs. Love my truck

2013 Lexus GX 460 review
This is probably going to be the best car I ever own! Highly reliable, easy to drive and fun to go off roading in. This is the Lexus version of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and that should be enough information right there. If you get one of these beast, hold on to it!
