It seems there are corolla’s with transmission issue mine was replaced at 36k miles this is my ninth Toyota the first with big issue like that although my car was just out of warranty Toyota replaced the transmission i had to pay for labor

Great quality vehicle service with equal quality customer service. Flexible scheduling & quick work. They offered a free loaner for the afternoon, but the waiting room had good coffee & snacks. Never a bad experience while here! While waiting for our work to be finished, we asked the nicest salesman ever, Mason, for a test drive of a used car we may be interested in. That didn't work out so he treated us to a test drive of a brand new car off the delivery truck. We loved it, but we were sure it would be out of our budget. Mason and his finance team worked some magic and were able to give us some very reasonable terms that were much less than we were expecting. This is the second car we've bought from Mason at Ron Tonkin and the experience with him and the rest of the team has always been so pleasurable and stress free!

I've been drving my 2015 T.C. 2015 LE Eco for last 6 1/2 years and I love my car. I'm glad reviews consider it a good value and long lasting at 55 this is for cars but the car is great and I can honestly say no complaints.

Purchased a former Enterprise rental Carolla with 60K on the odometer. Overall it meets all the buzz about Toyota reliability. Other than a Battery and oil changes it's been good to me. Occasionally drive it as an Uber and it gives good service.. you actually earn money instead of putting all your earnings back into the tank. The only issues I hate is the low front end that occasionally scrapes the asphalt coming in and out of steep driveways and dips in Oklahoma roads.. and the main console is finiky connecting with my phone in Android auto.

I have only had this car for 1 month but so far it runs well. My only issue, so far, is the front bumper and black grill. The bumper came loose ( I bought used) and now, the black grill has come loose... the hood seems to be tighter on one side than the other but works fine... just is not even...carfax said no wreck though. The exterior of cars these days seem cheap and flimsy. I never had that problem with my Honda CRV. I cannot tell you how many cars I see on the road with loose bumpers.

It was my old cars time to go (Gloria) at work my coworker brought up CarMax as he just got a new pickup truck from them. My partner and I scheduled an appointment for a viewing Wednesday the 6th. I had to keep adding water to my car so she can take us there. I was nervous as this was my first time purchasing a car. IT WAS THE CAR IVE BEEN WANTING :) and Elijah Combs was our representative. I sold a car recently to Carmax at the Beaverton, Oregon office. Everyone I worked with there was professional, friendly, and very efficient. From the time I arrived until the time I left with the check was about 45 minutes. No surprises and no hassles. They honored their online estimate for what they would pay for the car. I was very happy by how easy and quick the process was, and I'll return the next time I'm shopping for a car.

It is a Corolla so don't expect a Lexus. Many nice features like keyless operation, auto headlights and parking brake. Human Factors design is terrible. The center display has a lot of good information, but in font so small it is distracting to try and read it while driving. When you engage cruise control, a warning in small print legalese appears for several seconds, blanking out your speed and telling you not to take your eyes off the road. Of course if you want to read the warning, you cannot see the road. Other feature that is annoying is the assumption that if anything like a coat or a book are on the back seat, you must have left a small child in the car so it beeps repeatedly when you lock the car and then sends you a text that there is something in the back seat. Oil is 0W-8 so don't expect to do your own oil change as it is not generally available in stores. The ride is comfortable for an economy car and it is reasonably quiet. If you love AndroidAuto, you will like the interface, if you don't like it, well, Toyota does not give you any other option that is easy to use. There are 2 cupholders, a small glovebox, and a very small center console compartment. No other storage. No place for a small box of Kleenex, no place to store sunglasses.

I have been a customer of Ron Tonkin Acura for many years now. I have purchased my cars exclusively from this store since 2003! deeper relationship! One may ask why after 23 years do you go back to the same dealer when there are other dealers and a range of cost options? To me cost is but one factor in the purchase of a vehicle. I believe the relationship with the salesperson, service personnel and other support staff is what drives at least my decision to make the purchase. Sean Freeman is a stellar salesman! He is professional, knowledgeable and oriented toward making me feel comfortable with my purchase. I have a stock Corolla 2021 LE with 85000 miles on it. As ridiculous as it may sound, I thought it was a good idea to put it through its paces at Road Atlanta (in the rain as well). For an economic 4-door sedan the car is very fun to drive. It dances a little but it’s still forgiving when it’s warmed up. This car is perfect for safety and fun all in one. You’d have to really try to spin out or crash in this thing…..I have tried (not joking) and I’m not sure if it’s possible unless it’s icy and you’re going 80 miles an hour. As for normal driving, gas is great and reliability is what you expect for a Corolla, no maintenance cost except for a new battery after 4 years in a hot environment.

This car met all of my needs, I drove a little bit distance locally, sometimes long distance to other cities. I liked this car very much.

Dax was great - he guided me smoothly through the lease process when I arrived. However, this is my second lease at this dealership, and both times I was at the dealer for 4-5 hours, even though the lease was agreed upon before I arrived. Big part of this is understaffing (1 finance person on the last day of the year?!). Other part of it is just lack of attention to detail and way too much back and forth. Nonetheless, it was a competetive lease deal and everyone was curteous and friendly!

I've owned several Corolla's before, and the 2023 XSE is the best one yet. The fit and finish of the exterior, and the design and materials of the interior are all high quality for a car in this price range. The overall drivability is excellent, and feels like a car that's much more expensive. I'm still not really a fan of the CVT transmission. When you go to accelerate quickly, the car seems to be sliding in between gears and never actually chooses one. But after reading the owners manual and learning to shift the gears manually, it allows the cars performance to really shine through. It has 10 gears in the Manual Mode, and it's actually pretty fun to shift with either the up & down shift paddles on the side of the steering wheel, or pushing the gear-select lever one at a time. Anyway - it was the only driving issue I had, and Toyota already had a solution. Overall, this new Corolla is the best value car I've ever owned.

Decent but not outstanding. Had a problem with the passenger side motor mount causing a rattle that was fixed under warranty at the 5000 mi service. The part was backordered, so there are probably more than a few with this problem. A discoloration of the dash appeared by 2000 miles. Since it read "Toy" it was likely from the factory. There is still a small bubble in the rear window tint film. It drives well. I like the automation now that I'm used to it. It brakes too hard using adaptive cruise control when traffic slows down, but I guess the radar is doing as well as it can. It's not particularly comfortable, but Toyotas aren't known for that. Had to turn the driver's headrest around, as it pushes my head too far forward. I think that's required by law. The infotainment center works fine. They started using a new one after the 2024 debacle. I bought the car to keep it for a few hundred thousand miles. We'll see.

This is my third Corolla. I thrashed the first one (1990) for 20 years after I bought it at three years old, and gave it to a family member at 200k. The second ('98) was given to me by a friend who had bought it for someone else who didn't pay for it. It was totaled at 178k miles, in nearly perfect condition. This one came from an estate of a fellow parishioner. He bought it in 2010. When he passed in 2022, it had 141k miles. After it sat for a year, I bought it. Although I've only put a few hundred miles on it, it impresses me with its solidity, pep, and crisp handling. Based on past experience, I expect to get at least another hundred thousand out of it. Based on my driving habits (>10k/year) and my age, it may be the last daily-driver I ever own. Interior is a bit cramped compared to the Sonata it replaces, but high quality and comfortable. The initial surge of acceleration is a little startling, but easily controllable with a light foot. Styling is nothing to write home about, but is acceptable. Paint is chipping on the hood and fading on the roof, but overall presents well from twenty feet. I would prefer the optional alloy wheels, but I may find a set over the years I expect to have with this car. The stock stereo was malfunctioning when I got it, but I upgraded to an aftermarket 2-DIN unit with rear-view camera. The stock six-speaker setup blends nicely with the new head unit. Neither the bodywork, or the undercarriage exhibit any signs of corrosion.

My 2014 Corolla has 300,000km on it. Still has the original belt, rear brakes and exhaust. I average about 47mpg on a road that allows me to drive 80km/h with the engine at 1200rpm. I drive a combination city/highway miles. I tow a trailer quite often. I plan on keeping this car for another 9 years / 300,000 kms

We purchased a 2021 CPO Ascent on Sunday July 27th. The next day, the A/C failed. We advised the dealer, and they picked it up Tuesday. Needless to say, we were unhappy. It took a few days to diagnose and get fixed. We picked it up yesterday, and all is good. The dealer obtained a wholesale cost 5-year bumper to bumper 105k miles warranty at a discount we are paying off without interest over 10 months. It is the warranty they use regularly. Started out bad, but ended okay.

This particular 2016 Corolla S we bought used in December 2021 and so far so good. I had a small Toyota pickup back in the mid 1980’s and it was awesome!!!
