2023 Volkswagen Jetta review
The 2023 Jetta S and Jetta Sport are just about the best value you can find in a new car these days. Sure, you can buy a Hyundai or a Kia for a little less, but the Jetta is so much more car. I know from experience. I test drove the 2023 Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. And the Jetta stood out with a level of quality that those other cars just didn't seem to have. If you need the latest technology, and a huge touchscreen, buy one of those other cars. The Jetta has a smaller screen. But I like that the Jetta still have knobs and buttons for the A/C and basic radio controls. The Jetta is also offered without driver assist features if you want to save some money. I bought my 2023 Jetta Sport without lane keep assist and all those extra features I don't like, because I pay attention when I drive. This knocked off a nice bit of money. After driving all those new cars, the Jetta had room where I needed it, comfort, and a level of quality I just didn't feel in the other cars, so I bought it. And I am very happy with my purchase.

I live in Northwest Ohio and did an exhaustive search for a few different makes and models of interest. One of my top choices was a white Lincoln MKZ with tan interior. I found one in Akron at Akron Auto Sales. First thought was an hour and forty five minute drive just to look at it. Then I started doing my homework. The car passed all of my criteria especially with plenty of good pictures and a link to the car fax right there. Their cars are personally cherry picked from local new car dealer trade ins and not purchased at auctions. Now I have to figure out if this place is worth my time. With a fine tooth comb I read every review, testimonial and anything I can find on them. Outstanding. They are BBB A+ accredited and never had a complaint in over 30 years. They have a repair shop and mechanics right there to not only back up their warranty but perform service for anyone looking for repair. Very happy with what I found out I made a call and spoke to one of the owners. Dave is an incredibly sharp guy and we had great conversation with not a hint of the car salesperson in him. I liked not having to fend off the usual and customary predatory practices out of the gate. After the call I decided to make the trek. I called back to arrange seeing the car and spoke to the other owner Rachael who is absolutely awesome! She has the most effervescent personality and just like her brother she didn't come off as a car salesperson. Bonus! I am not a fan of car salespeople and am always on guard which is the reason I prefer private owners. Now two phone calls with very nice people don't make a deal but I had all of the reviews living rent free in my head and my intuition told me to take the shot. From the instant you walk through their door you have one minute before your car buying experience and expectations will be changed forever. If you're out shopping and you put on your Teflon suit preparing for the car selling tactics, sales pitches, cloaked scenes you're in for a very pleasant surprise here. Your heart rate will slow, blood pressure will drop and you'll instantly be immersed in a euphoric feeling of friendship and family. Rachael and Dave are phenomenal people with infectious personalities and a mission to carry on a tradition of being different all started by their father who brought integrity, fairness and value to a murky and often shady business of selling cars. I've bought and sold a lot of cars in life and this was THE best experience hands down. I have high standards and it takes a lot to impress me and they met and exceeded all of what I wanted. I did buy the car and made new friends. It was well worth the drive and I truly didn't want to leave. You will not find more honest, trustworthy and likable people. I am not a relative, paid advertiser or the like and am just a guy who had a fabulous experience looking to share why you have to give them a look. They are very different in how they operate. 2014 Volkswagen Jetta review
TDI. Great mileage - 40 mpg at 75 mph. Always starts in the winter. Very solid and dependable vehicle and fun to drive! This is the second TDI Jetta I have owned. A shame they don't make them anymore!

2015 Volkswagen Jetta review
If it's a 2.0 slow then it's very reliable. Bought the car new, now with 110k no major breakdowns. Make sure it had the proper timely maintenance and it be a good reliable car. Very slow but economic. Transmission fluid change is a must. I was late in it but after the change the car shifted much better.

2020 Volkswagen Jetta review
I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

2019 Volkswagen Jetta review
I purchased my 2019 Jetta R-Line brand new with 27 miles on the odometer in June of 2020. As of this review I have owned the vehicle nearly 5 years. My car now has 57,000 miles on it. I have never experienced any mechanical failures. The vehicle still has the factory battery, brake pads, and rotors. I have only replaced the tires and cabin air filter. Aside from that, routine maintenance including oil changes every 7,500 miles (despite VW calling for 10k interval), and flushing the coolant and brake fluids around 50k miles. My car is comfortable albeit a little small for a man of my stature. It's excellent on gas and handles like a dream. I have gotten compliments on it's looks since day one. The cold weather package is excellent and essential up here in the northeast. I paid 20k for the car brand new and its proven to be an excellent value. My only complaints, the stock sound system is not horrible but it's not great. Also, the driver seat is beginning to have cracks in the leather. I'm very satisfied with this vehicle. I hope this one lasts a while but I will check out VW first for my next vehicle purchase.

VW of Akron is highly recommended my wife and me; this is truly a five star dealership. You definitely need to visit them when looking for a vehicle. The whole car exploration and buying process is stress free and so different from what we’ve had been accustomed to. I am definitely keeping VW of Akron high on my list for future buys. Each of the staff we met are honest, open, friendly, patient, professional and knowledgeable. We met primarily with Ammar, who sincerely listened to our situation and then provided us with a VW ID.4 to drive freely and unaccompanied around Akron. (BTW, we found the ID.4 is very comfortable inside, rides well, is well built and performs well). Upon our return to the dealership, after hearing our thoughts, Ammar spent several hours providing details and answering questions regarding the ID.4 to ensure we were comfortable with proceeding. After telling him we would like to proceed, he worked hard with his manager, Matt, to find the car with options which we wanted (VW Corp had just that day shutdown factory ordering of The ID.4). When our ID.4 arrived, there was some confusion regarding our choice of equipment options (‘what we thought we were getting vs what was there). The manager, Matt voluntarily stepped in and said he would take care of the problem without our incurring any cost. In talking with him, ‘found him to be a good, reputable guy and apparent good leader (rather than just a manager). So, ‘on to paying and paper signing (usually this part the really raises my ire). We met with AJ who told us about various payment methods in addition to what my wife and I had earlier explained and wanted. AJ came up with a good plan to save us money over what we had originally considered doing. After that AJ presented us with the usual dealer provided/applied optional amenities (I thought, here we go - you know, the often high pressure arguments - ‘the ”You really need this” items’ - (to be clear, at other places, not VW Akron); ‘these are such items as additional sound deadening, lifetime muffler bearing grease jobs and/ or insurance protection against flying saucer attack – maybe I exaggerate just a bit but you know what I mean). However, AJ started off indicating what they offer was just for our consideration – no pressure. Well, first note that, his offers were for reasonable items (‘no T-Rex repellent). But then, I really didn’t want any of the offers and there was neither badgering nor debating as I declined them. Much Kudos to AJ. On the day of pickup, Ammar, in typical character, brought our car out and first spent a good bit of time looking it over and checking it out to make sure all was right. He then sat with my wife in the car (it’s her primary vehicle) for a good while to make sure she understood all the controls and functions. I also want to say that I met with several others of the people in parts and service; all exhibited the same honesty, friendliness and professionalism as Ammar, AJ and Matt. Bottom line - you would be hard pressed to find a better dealership or buying experience; do yourself a favor & stop in when you’re looking for a car. Rick

2016 Volkswagen Jetta review
This is my 2nd Mk6 Jetta. The first one I leased had zero issues with it. It was a 2017 1.4t S trim. My current Jetta a 2016 Sport 1.8t trim is a great vehicle! I bought it in 2019 as a CPO with 38k miles and now it has 127,500 miles and counting! Has give me zero problems. All I’ve done was kept up with its regular maintenance. I’ve used it to get around town and for long trips. Great on gas, roomy, nice backup camera and Apple CarPlay still works with the factory head unit! It also has VW’s built in Navigation system and Sirius XM which has come in handy a few times. The trunk is spacious with rear seats that fold down. The center rear seat comes with an arm rest and a pass through to the trunk. I also love the heated two tones white and black leatherette seats that come with the Sport trim. Driving wise, it handles great with good acceleration for a compact sedan. Easy to park as well!

2015 Volkswagen Jetta review
I love this car. Spacious, smooth, safer, economical both fuel and maintenance. I have owned this car from 2015 brand new, 10 years down the line and I’m still happy and won’t trade it for any other car. Done over 220000kms and still going strong. Kudos to VW in the Jetta 2015 model. No regrets.

I got my new Used Subaru Outback in 2 days. Brandon was a big help. The only problem was I was told my car was ready before my appointment to be there. Upon arrival, I still had to wait 2 to 3 hours because of paperwork. I realized on my way home, the car was never cleaned because there were crumbs under the driver's seat and there was still salt on the floorboard on the driver side that I had mentioned the day before and was told it would be taken care of. The front windshield still had some type of gunk on it. They still hadn't put gas in the car until I was ready to drive away.
2019 Volkswagen Jetta review
So my Habenero orange R Line is named Princess... she is quick when she needs to be, and eco mode is there for when she doesn't. Gas mileage is fantastic either way. She is so responsive, the handling on her is top notch. I've put a LOT of miles on her, I think upwards of 50k without a single mechanical failure. A few accidents, the front collision sensor is a pain to replace but I like in a bumper car city, unfortunately.

My wife and myself drove 10 hours one way from Virginia Beach to get a beautiful 2003 Silverado 1500 with 77000 miles on it. We also traded in are 2022 kia Sportage AWD so we wouldn't have another car payment. Before we got to the dealership we talked about how much the full purchase price would be and if they would be able to at least pay off the KIA. We send in a video of the car and they said minimum they would pay off the KIA. The price they told me was the price I paid . They didn't change it on me . They paid us more then what we owed for are Kia even though they didn't have too. We have boughten 4 brand new cars in Virginia Beach and 3 used ones in are life time. When it comes to getting another used car I will be going through these guys regardless of we're I live. #respect to everyone that worked there. You guys got customers for life from us. So if you want a hassle free , great reliable car. We're the dealership puts you guys first before making maximum money I advise you go to this dealership even if you're driving far. We did 10 hours there 11 back home and we couldn't be happier. Thx again to everyone that helped us . This review is about their buying process, not their sales. (I live >100 miles away, so I've never had to come this far to buy a car.) After my Ford Fusion Energi PHEV came off lease, I bought it out and resold it to CarMax. Their online assessment process was fair and painless, and they offered me a pretty good price for me car. But that was an estimate, not an offer. I drove my car all the way here expecting to be haggled to death and get a reduced offer, but--it didn't happen. They examined the car and paid me the original offered amount with no dickering at all. It was a pleasant surprise. Fast-forward to today; now I've got a nice Ford Escape PHEV. They gave a nice estimate when I checked online, so I bought out my lease and I need to get the car over here to sell it to them. I'm hoping history will repeat itself.
2021 Volkswagen Jetta review
I have owned my 2021 VW Jetta for close to two years. I have very little negative things to say about the car. The car does have auto start-stop when stopped for red lights and other lengthy stops. This car handles well. It gets on highways quickly. I have recorded gas on long trips 42 mpg. I get 32mpg around town. The Jetta looks nice. I have the gray color with black interior. It’s not like the BMW335 I owned but it is a good car for me. Currently over 36k miles with no issues. I take it in ever 10,000 miles for a check up and oil changes.
