2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
We recently purchased a used XC60 plug-in and we love it thus far. It had 35k miles and is in perfect condition inside and out. A month of driving this far and have put in $35 in gas (premium). We are using the 110v charging option which does take over 12 hours for a full recharge. But topping it off every night makes sense. Our utility bill looks like about $12 more with the charging - California. We are retired so our mileage does not contain commuting. The car is quiet especially on e-mode. Very smooth ride and quite peppy with the turbo charged 4 cylinder engine. Creature comforts galore but having to learn the ins and outs of the almost completely touchscreen environment. Map navigation is a breeze with voice command 100% effective. Seats and entry are great. We researched operating costs and Volvo does have high maintenance cost at the dealer. So we got an extended warranty on top of 2 years original remaining warranty. Only issue so far is the “secret” code to plugging and unplugging the charge cord. Need to lock and then unlock the car when inserting/removing the plug. And a warning - there is no spare wheel. Pretty common with e-vehicles as a weight saver. The is a compressor with tire goo as the emergency backup. Pretty sure that needs replacement if used. Look at the tire service plan as an option. The assisted drive mode is growing on me. It keeps the car centered in the lane and uses as array of cameras to gauge conditions. A light hand on the wheel is how I use it. The main test was an erratic driver pulling into our lane and the car reacted quickly and safely to the situation. It will slow down in cruise control to the traffic ahead. This is a luxury vehicle and it drives and feels like one. We are highly impressed.

Love my Volvo Only things that I don't like. It is difficult to open the driver side door. Very heavy and does not open and stay. Have to use my foot to push open the door. Other than that. I am a satisfied customer.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

Recently purchased a CPO XC70 from Steingold. Solid, good experience. Clear and direct communication throughout the entire process. A fair deal. They also worked with me to add some accessories I wanted. I was coming from out-of-state and one of the owners even came in on his day off to meet with me so we could finish the transaction. This is an old-school, family run dealership. With active, on-site owners. Many dealers today are part of larger multi-dealer corporate conglomerates. With absentee owners. Depending on the general manager and rest of staff, such dealers may still be well run. However, there is something to be said for the old-school model. Steingold is committed to the local area as well. Also, convenient location just off the highway. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

2021 Volvo XC40 review
My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

2026 Volvo EX30 review
Ultra Trim No more gasoline for me. This car is extremely fast and nimble. It's small and that's a plus in city streets It is VERY quiet and the Harman Kardon sound system is very nice. There is a learning curve with this car and as I get more used to the system, the more fun this car becomes. I am using level 1 charging so I just plug into a standard 115V outlet and that is plenty sufficient for me.

Joel and Volvo Plymouth made it all so easy! When I arrived (about 5 mins early), Joel was already standing at the front desk and had the V60 Cross Country I wanted to test drive ready to go at the front door. During the test drive, he was knowledgeable and quick with answers to all my questions about the car, but also let me focus on the drive and getting a feel for the car. Joel guided me on a circuit that brought me through Plymouth’s downtown and onto the highway, so I got to feel the car at low and higher speeds - everything you need. Once we sat down to talk numbers, there was no back and forth game. Joel came right out of the gate with a fair price on the car, which is what originally brought me to Volvo Plymouth from Attleboro, and he and his used car manager gave me a fair price on my trade. What’s usually the most “stressful” part of car buying was over in no more than 10 mins. That said, I certainly wasn’t rushed. I got everything I needed and Joel worked quickly. My V60 is a lease return, and even before I asked, Joel promised that not only will the wagon be fully cleaned and detailed, but 2 dents will be repaired and the rims will be refurbished before pick up, along with all the usual oil, filter, and fluid changes. The dealership and showroom was immaculate! A pristine, low pressure, vanilla scented place to see, feel, and learn about what Volvo has to offer. The cars on the showroom floor were so clean that I was worried to leave fingerprints, but like a kid at at a glass counter, I couldn’t help leaving my grubby little prints as I went from S60, to S90, to XC90. Bottom line, if this is the Volvo way, I can easily see myself being a customer of Joel’s and the Volvo brand for life. This was such a positive change from the Jeep dealers I’d dealt with last. 2022 Volvo S60 review
Try the T8/Recharge Model. My 22 has averaged 90 mpg over my first 3000 miles. Has plenty of oomph when needed too, would definitely recommend.

2021 Volvo S60 review
Good performance, smooth flowing lines and a comfortable yet great handling car. The T6 with AWD really brings this design to life. Would recommend looking at these before buying another marque.

2017 Volvo V60 review
I bought the car used from a non-Volvo dealer. I have not been driving much due to the pandemic, but a couple of computer glitches have arisen. I took the car into a Volvo dealer for service on the issue, thank goodness the car is still under warranty. The problem with the auto start-stop feature wasn't working, it was "fixed" but the problem has reoccurred intermittently. And now the side mirrors are not retracting upon shutdown... that isn't good.

2016 Volvo V60 review
This car is perfect for me. I didn't want an SUV, but wanted decent cargo space. This is a great size wagon with plenty of space. Love it!
