Miles per gallon-equivalent is how the EPA provides efficiency ratings for battery-electric vehicles in a way that can be used in comparison with gasoline-powered vehicles. Actual mileage will vary depending on driving conditions, driving habits, elevation changes, weather, accessory usage (lights, climate control), vehicle condition and other factors.

Battery capacity Battery capacity

Battery capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours, which is a measure of how much energy is used over time. A 70-kWh battery has more energy capacity than a 50-kWh battery and would result in a longer driving range if all other factors were equal. But more battery capacity doesn’t always mean longer range because of differences in energy consumption from vehicle to vehicle.

2020 Acura NSX review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2020 Acura NSX?

The Acura NSX is an exotic sports car with room for two people. Power comes from a gas-electric hybrid drivetrain that features two electric motors driving the front wheels, plus a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine and an additional electric motor powering the rear wheels. System output is 573 horsepower. Competitors include the Audi R8 and BMW i8.

What’s New on the 2020 Acura NSX?

Other than a newly available color, Indy Yellow Pearl, there are no significant changes.

What Features in the 2020 Acura NSX Are Most Important?

The NSX’s sophisticated hybrid drivetrain is tuned for performance and gives the sports car all-wheel drive. Even though its starting price is well into six figures, some significant performance-oriented features are optional, like carbon-ceramic brakes and a carbon-fiber roof.

Should I Buy the 2020 Acura NSX?

Like the original, the current-generation NSX is something of an everyday supercar, what with its good forward visibility. The responsiveness and seamlessness of the hybrid system impressed us, but the car’s steering feedback and ordinary multimedia system left us cold. Even so, the NSX turns heads as well as any exotic sports car.
