The Acura NSX is an exotic sports car with room for two people. Power comes from a gas-electric hybrid drivetrain that features two electric motors driving the front wheels, plus a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine and an additional electric motor powering the rear wheels. Total output is 573 horsepower. A nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard. Competitors include the Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911 and Audi R8

Long Beach Blue Pearl is a new available paint color.

What Features in the 2021 Acura NSX Are Most Important?

Standard features include:

  • 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity
  • Navigation
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Leather and simulated-suede upholstery
  • Heated seats

Available features include:

  • Carbon-ceramic brakes

Should I Buy the 2021 Acura NSX?

Like the original that was last offered as a 2005 model in the U.S., the current-generation NSX is the kind of sports car that can be used on a daily basis. The responsiveness and seamlessness of the hybrid system impressed us, but the car’s steering feedback and ho-hum multimedia system left us cold. Even so, the NSX turns heads as well as any exotic sports car.
