What Is the 2022 BMW 7 Series?
The BMW 7 Series is a large luxury sedan with seating for four or five, depending on the model. Rear- and all-wheel-drive versions are offered, and engine choices range from a 335-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six in the 740i to a 600-hp, twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V-12 in the M760i. All engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. There’s also a plug-in hybrid variant, the 745e. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8.
