In April, 2017, I shopped for a new truck in Austin, TX, reviewing Toyota, Ford, Chevy and Dodge offerings . The Charles Maund Toyota sales team was by far the best. Veronica Sifuentes was just excellent as the point sales person. She listened to me to understand my needs/wants and then matched me with Toyota's best/most appropriate product (2017 Tundra). Unusually strong sales skills/talent, very easy to work with and followed up on everything. The sales experience was much better than anticipated, with no pressure, honest negotiations, reasonable give and take, and a very efficient sales close process. An interesting note: While talking with Ford, I mentioned I was trading in an old Toyota Tundra and shopping for a new "best" truck. Their sales guy said "Hmmm, most Toyota owners buy another Toyota truck, because they so enjoyed their prior one." Absolutely true, and after reviewing/driving the top 4 truck brands - I bought another Toyota Tundra. My last one was the best truck I've ever owned, with no significant repairs needed in 9 years of ownership. Currently, Ford F150 gets better gas mileage, Chevy Silverado has more tech inside, Dodge Ram is kind of pretty, but the Toyota Tundra is the most reliable, has the best repair record, is safer and will haul you out of the ditch every time - no sweat. The truck is just awesome - buy one and you will not regret it.

The Regal GS is an excellent example of a sports sedan as it should be. Stylish, all right components- seats, awd, suspension,brakes/tires, street appropriate horsepower and torque, quiet. Much of this is standard at a price that trumps BMW or Audi which are more hype than reality and thus no better. I have driven all of these. To be honest it is like driving my 2016 Corvette, quick,quiet and goes where you point it with no quirts of any kind!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the heated leather seats and that it gets 30+ miles per gallon. The digital speedometer and alert system are awesome bonuses as well. But the amount of buttons on the dash is very confusing at first, it does take some time to figure out what does what.

Why do some people (like me) spend Sunday evenings driving to closed car dealerships, with our faces pressed up against dark tinted glass to try and get a look inside a locked car? Why do we put off getting a new vehicle? Typically it is: 1) wanting to find that perfect car at the right price and 2) dreading having to talk to the sales person that is standing between you and the perfect car once you find it! I, myself felt this way, and put off buying a newer vehicle till the one I loved had over 200,000 miles on it, so it was time to put the fears and anxiety aside, and start the search. After looking online to widen my search results, I found that perfect car (2 hours away), so I put on my "big girl pants" and made that first call. I ended up getting Daniel Walsh on the other end of the phone and my apprehension lightened by the casual, no pressure tone in his voice, he was extremely helpful. First call led to the second call, in which Daniel took his time to answer all my questions in a patient, professional and, most importantly, down to earth manner. I then got a call from Cory Rutherford and we further visited about price and trade in value, at this point (site unseen), I felt about 98 % sure this was the car I wanted and the people who would help make it happen. They even offered to bring the car all the way to College Station to make it easier, however the next morning I made the trip to Austin and was greeted with the same friendly, knowledgeable service and hospitality, that I had encountered over the phone. . There were some bumps along the path, there might have even been a tear or two -- but they were good tears as at the end of the day I left with my old reliable car in their hands and a set of new car keys in mine! Definitely was a trip worth taking and I would highly recommend them, there is no need to put off car shopping any longer!!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

I had been looking for a Jeep to purchase for my son for his 16th birthday so he can drive to/from school and work. These cars are plenty, so the search was fairly easy. What I found to be very difficult was finding a good dealership to purchase the car from. I had paid for one in Dallas that was described to be like-new, but after flying there I found it to be beat up and abused. I flew to Dallas to find this out, a loss of a day and about $850 due to dealership dishonesty. I found that the (somewhat) local David McDavid pre-owned auto dealer had a white 2011 Jeep and I made an offer that they accepted. I worked directly with Jared Cole, a very nice and very professional individual. When we test drove, it had the ENGINE light on, I told him I'd not purchase with that light on. They looked at it and informed me it was related to the air bag and it needed a software update. It test drove w/o incident, so we purchased it. The next day after driving him home we walked out to go practice parallel parking (remember those days?), we made it down the driveway before the engine started to steam....all antifreeze escaped the car. I obviously wasn't happy, but Jared said he'd take care of it. A few hours later (I live in the county) a tow truck showed up and it was towed to the Jeep dealer. It was found that the thermostat was faulty, causing the car to overheat. It was quickly fixed at the expense of Acura and Jared/Zach drove it back out to my home to deliver it to me. Would I recommend them...Yes, I would. Even the manager there was fun to work with. The sale was fairly quick and pretty painless. A+ in my book- -Jason W.

The room in this mid size SUV with third row seating is absolutely amazing. I'm 5'9" and I don't have to crouch down to move through the back area. I barely have to bend any further than I did in my minivan and that amazes me, I thought I'd be sacrificing a lot of room moving from a van to an SUV but that is not the case here. The only real complaint I have is that I purchased the 6 cylinder AWD and I think definitely go for the 8 cylinder if you have the option. You're going to break even in the gas mileage department and the extra power is noticeably worth it, in my opinion. All in all, I think Buick hit it out of the park with this ride!

My wife and I had planned a long RV trip from Austin to Kentucky and Missouri to do genealogy research, listen to bluegrass music, sample some Kentucky bourbon and Missouri wine, visit Quilt stores and caves. I took my 2010 F-250 in for suspected ball joint and related issues and told Service Advisor Anthony Vento when our trip was planned. He assigned an extra worker to the job. It turned out to be a big job with side issues that I verified to be correct. Yes, we had our truck in time for our trip even though it was a close call. Thanks also to mechanic Rudy (that's the only name I have) and to all the folks that worked on my truck. Had I not had Maxwell Ford making the repairs my wife and I would not have even made it out of Texas and might have had a serious wreck. We logged 4,700 miles pulling an RV and had no problems whatsoever! Thanks to all that helped, it was a great trip and we accomplished all our goals!

I have been looking for a new Silverado LTZ with 2WD, nicely appointed, WITH the 6.2L engine for a year and a half. I could have ordered one and waited the 60 - 90 days to have one built, but I didn't want to go that route. Capitol had 3 2017's in stock, one in my preferred color, and I was able to buy my elusive Silverado. Capitol's Internet Sales guy, Eddie Sifuentes, helped me greatly with my buying process, and suggested I get a CarMax appraisal when the first trade offer was way too low. He was able to get me $500 over the CarMax appraisal, and that got my out-of-pocket cost for the truck lowered by over $10,000! That's the kind of car salesperson I like. Eddie kept going out of his way to deliver the truck to my home, and volunteering to pick it up and take it back to the dealership next week when some dealer-installed options that were ordered come in. Marco in Finance was also very helpful, keeping his sense of humor as our transaction kept him at his desk until after 9:30 pm on a Friday night. He got everything done to wrap up the sale to our satisfaction in spite of the late hour. Thanks to the Capitol Chevrolet team - this is the second new Silverado I have purchased there, and I will keep coming back.

In early 2017 I was looking online for a certain truck I wanted and was not able to find one in San Antonio. I came across the Capitol website and found the perfect truck... I requested more information and Hunter contacted me within no time at all to help me. Although it was just an hour drive I wanted to make sure it was what I wanted and that I wouldn't have any surprises when I got there. Hunter was able to give me all the information on the truck and financing over the phone and I went pick up my perfect tuck :) When I got there everything was ready to go and I was off to financing to sign papers and get my keys. While I was waiting with my sister and my 2 toddler nephews my sister asked Hunter if he had anything she may be interested in. He found a car let her test drive it and we left the dealer with 2 cars that day. Great communication, great service and follow up with Hunter at Capitol Chevy!!! That said, I was in need for the perfect truck in Jan 2018 with 4x4 now. I had a great experience with Hunter on the purchase of my 2017 and contacted him to see if he could help me... Hunter emailed me within a few minutes and was looking for my new truck. I was sure if it would happen because I would e moving in the next few days and I was going to be very picky on the truck I want again. He found my same truck with 4x4 and one yr newer!!!! The very next morning I arrived to sign papers and pick up my NEW perfect Truck !!!! :) Hunter new I had to be at work by 12 and had everything ready to go to make sure I'd make the drive back to San Antonio... Thanks Hunter! You are Awesome!

I scheduled an oil changed & tire rotation service with Jerrod Dozier online. Mr. Dozier was both professional and knowledgeable about my Nissan Quest. I am overall pleased by the exceptional customer service Mr. Dozier provided. While exiting the service office he went above and beyond to open the door and walk me to the vehicle and follow up to make sure everything was done correctly and to my standards. Jeff was very knowledgeable with all my questions. I didn't have the best experience with another dealership company and he made sure that he listened to all my wants in a vehicle. Long story short I was recently in a car accident that lead to me not having a vehicle and once the rental ran out I was about to be without a vehicle again, still waiting for the insurance company to resolve my total loss claim. Mind you that the accident wasn't even my fault. When I explained my situation with Jeff, him and his team made sure that I had a vehicle to drive till they found the perfect one for me. Not a lot of companies would do that for you. Of course I had to make sure I had a purchase in play...LOL but still, that is going beyond the assistance they even had to do. It took about a day to get the perfect vehicle located, in which I felt safe and comfortable with getting behind the wheel again. Jeff took customer service to the next level, I work two jobs and he made his way to meet me at one of my jobs to get me a loaner to me while waiting for my new vehicle to come in. Also as my vehicle was being delivered to the dealership, I was driving back in the loaner to get my new vehicle, we ending up having a little hiccup with the loaner, the skid plate came lose and was handing. I didn't feel safe driving so I had to pull over. I called Jeff to let him know and he said " Are you OK?" Are you in a Safe Place? I told him I was and asked him what I should do. He's response was, Stay there I will come get you and calling a tow truck to come pick up the vehicle. He came and sat there with us waiting on the tow truck which ended up taking a bit longer then was told. He suggested he just bring us back to the dealership where we could sit in the AC instead of the outside heat and He would wait for the tow company to come get the vehicle. Now that was truly a customer service 5 star. With all said and done, they brought the loaner back, just needed to tighten the bolts on the plate nothing too crazy and I was able to get into my new vehicle that evening. Jeff has reached out twice so far to make sure I was happy with my purchase and made sure I felt safe in my new vehicle. So if anyone is looking for great service and care I would recommend Jeff Von Christierson as your sales guy and Mac Haik for overall company to work with. Thanks again for all you have done for me, will recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to get from you guys.

I own a "base" version of this vehicle. Base is figurative term with all ther stand features. Remote start, power everything, velvet like cloth seats, woodgrain trim and chrome. My vehicle is FWD and has zero issues performing in ther massive amounts of rain. The vehicle also supports generous ground clearance making unexpected hazards no issue. Extensive amount of storage is a bonus for active families.

I referred this dealership to several friends and co-workers the day after I purchased my vehicle. This is not the first time I purchased a vehicle from Don Hewlett. My first experience was in 2006. That experience was identical to this experience in that I researched vehicles online, was immediately contacted by a salesman, and followed up with a visit to the dealership. From that first internet contact to closing the deal, I felt as if I was the only customer they had. Here's what I liked about the dealership: Walking into the dealership feels welcoming in that the cars (the product) are on display. I've been in other dealerships where all you see is a bunch of people milling about. Patriotic pictures (including Texana) are on display. As a military veteran, that appealed to me. Everything is immaculately clean and in good repair. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me promptly. Carl Staves, who started out as my salesman, became my new friend. As a senior citizen, I have purchased many new cars and I abhor the negotiating process. The salesmen always seemed to be the "middle man". I've gotten to the point where I just want to deal with the manager and not have to go through the middle man. However, the industry doesn't work that way. This is the first time I EVER felt like the salesman represented my interests fairly to the manager. I felt like Carl was fighting for me to get the best price possible. Carl did not use cliches like "what can I do to earn your business" or ask "if I can get the price right, are you ready to buy today". Had he done so, it would have interfered with the process because I would have tuned him out. Because he didn't, I felt like an individual being listened to. He took the time to patiently demonstrate features on the car. This is very important because there is so much technology on the vehicle and it can be overwhelming to senior citizens. This example alone is important enough to refer all senior citizens to him to buy their next new car. After the purchase, Carl followed up with me several times to ensure I had everything I needed and to answer questions, which of course I had. This proves that the sale doesn't stop once the contract is signed. The finance personnel, Jeff Grazioplene and Buddy Shepperd, were great and did not resort to high pressure sales tactics. Neither did they "sulk" when I declined their products. I purchased accessories from Jerred and he was very informative about the products and also offered fair pricing. I would like to add that I do not live near this dealership but the way I was treated and the price I got - including the price of my trade-in vehicle - was worth the distance it took to drive there. This purchase was an expensive one and the most important thing I can say is that the deal was great, I was treated fairly, and I walked away a very happy customer. Happy customers make more happy customers.

Traded in my small truck for this small SUV so far its an improvements on fuel consumption, slightly higher monthly payments than my 2016 Colorado, still getting used to the vehicle, its comfortable, but I am missing having heated seats, perhaps one day I'll add in that option ;) Looking forward to taking it for a few road trips, have an average commute of 100km per day.
