2018 Cadillac XT5 review
Previously I had a GM Blazer that was the worst car I’ve ever hard. So I was afraid to buy another GM car. But this 2018 XT5 should be on some kind of special 10 out of 10 list. I found this car on a Cadillac dealer’s lot with only 700 miles on it. I guess I got lucky because in 8 years I had a small AC issue and nothing else! It handles incredibly and never seems to have any issues! I can only hope it continues for another 8 years. It is great!

2018 Cadillac XT5 review
We own two XT 5’s 2017 AWD and 2018 FWD. I can not recommend these vehicles more highly. Eight years with the 2017 and no major issues at all. Regular oil changes and have been diligent with manufacturing recommended services. The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and I am keeping it to the end. 78,500 miles by the way. The 2018 is 6 months old with me. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. Just finished having all fluids flushed, plugs changed out and some high quality tires on it, and look for to owning it for the long haul. I am very impressed with these vehicles. They feel solid in inclimate weather, handle exceptionally well and the fit and feel are top notch!

I’m from out of town and had some minor damage to my car. It was enough that I would not be able to return home in a week. Galloway was the closest Ford dealer so I went there in spite of the 1 star reviews on this site. I couldn’t have been happier. Had no clue where to go as they have multiple buildings. Stopped in at the first one and met a woman at the desk who was friendly and guided me where to go. The next stop they all were most accommodating and in an effort to resolve my issue in the shortest amount of time since I had no reservation sent me to their quick lane building where Mauricio came to greet me. Basically took me under his wing as he looked things over, took me to his office and gave me a quote. I had to leave my vehicle while they ordered the parts and delivered the following day. Was given a ride in their free shuttle back to where I was staying in Cape Coral. Was called the next morning around 8:30 or so that it was complete and ready for pickup. They offered to come and get me but a friend gave me a ride over. Everything went so smoothly and my contact couldn’t have been better. Thanks to all that helped which could have gone much much worse.

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
I purchased the 2020 Cadillac XT5 midsize crossover based on the stylish looks, comfortable ride and optional V6 engine which takes regular gas. The panoramic sunroof, electronic precision shifter and interior design adds to the overall driving experience. The ride is good, but there is more road noise than expected probably due to no under carriage engine shield which makes the cabin not as isolated as it could be. Also there should be as standard equipment a rear mirror camera due to poor visibility. It appears many used Cadillac XT5 have some minor rear damage when checking the Carfax report.

2024 Cadillac XT5 review
3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

2021 Cadillac XT5 review
I had just got this car and it's been to the shop twice, first 2 days I had it I loved it, the performance is great and the interior is amazing! I have the sport utility model and I love all the features and the sound of the xt5!! Over the week my power liftgate stopped working/ would only work at certain times, my check engine light came on reading codes about the camshaft and coolant temp not being high enough. I'm not sure what's going on, this might just be a me problem but over all very nice car, just alot of bells and whistles and specific dealerships to go through if it ever needs repairs.

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
Just a very good, reliable, solid, powerful, and nicely styled vehicle. A little small on cargo, and electronics are OK, but not up with current trims with other companies. Have some Update error on downloads, but that's about it...15,000miles, still like new.

2018 Cadillac XT5 review
I’ve owned 8 vehicles in my lifetime and have driven about 30 different cars, and I can confidently say the 2018 Cadillac XT5 is literally the best-handling car I’ve ever driven. Cadillac has truly mastered the balance between performance, comfort, and luxury with this model. Driving Experience: The handling is exceptional—smooth, responsive, and surprisingly agile for a midsize SUV. Whether on city streets, highways, or winding roads, the XT5 stays composed and feels incredibly secure. The suspension does an excellent job of absorbing bumps while maintaining a sporty, controlled ride. Interior & Comfort: The interior design is second to none. The XT5's cabin is on par with any top luxury brand I’ve encountered. Premium materials like leather seating, soft-touch surfaces, and tasteful accents create a space that feels both stylish and sophisticated. The seats are extremely comfortable, even on longer drives, and there's plenty of room for passengers to stretch out. Features & Amenities: This car comes loaded with luxury-level amenities, yet it’s far more affordable than similar options that can cost 20-30% more. Features like the intuitive infotainment system, touchscreen controls, Bose premium sound system, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration make it feel modern and connected. Add in conveniences like a hands-free liftgate, heated/ventilated seats, and an easy-to-use navigation system, and you’re getting serious value for your money. Nick so kindly offered to stay late so I could come at a time convenient to me. He did everything he could to make my experience as great as it could be, and he truly did an awesome job! He even ended up staying 3 hours after his shift was supposed to end, but he was so cheerful, you never would have known! Anyone looking for a car, definitely see Nick @ Car Max! He's not "just another car salesman" .. he's honest and helpful and gives great customer service!

The Luxury and comfort leveli is not the same that. people got from the early 2000's and earlier models.Disappointing and makes you wonder why you are paying an upcharge over a basic gm or chevrolet of same size just for the name

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
Got a 2023 identical to this 3 weeks ago. Bought it for retirement road travel. Have had 2 SRXs before. Traded in a sweet 2016 ATS Performance coupe reluctantly. No regrets. Electronics are outstanding. Handles better than the SRX. As peppy and nimble as the ATS. Always GM, never disappointed. Value, comfort, performance.
