We were looking for a special SUV like ours. We checked on KIA, Dodge and stopped at City Chevrolet. Upon arriving the Receptionist called for a salesman. Mr Mateus De Acevedo came right up and was very polite! We told him what we wanted and he brought up just what we were looking for. He provided great service! It took quite a while and I myself was not impressed with the financial procedure, the screen was very difficult to see sitting down!! I am short. But overall we were really just looking, but Mat found one we couldn’t refuse and left with a brand new Equinox Mint Green SUV. Many thanks to Mr. De Azevedo. Keep in mind this rating is for a small gas fuel efficient economy car, it's way more than expected and for 2 years has not diminished my opinion at all. Good reliable car. Here in New England I have seen models from 2013 and newer still driven all over and even the prior avio models on the road too. BSic maintenance keeps them together. It is a good car!

The key to the cvt transmission is to change transmission fluid and filter every 30,000. Great commuter car . Driving 60 mph and under I usually get between 37 and 42 miles per gallon. Driving over 60 mph it will range between 33 and 36 mpg . It is small but it's fun to drive .

My salesman was very patient with me. I asked a ton of questions because there was so much about the vehicle that differed from my 2013 Suburban. I suppose, if I were not such a Luddite, I would have found many of these things obvious. As it was, we didn't explore the engine bay. My age and under-hood vehicle complexity have pretty much made my access here a waste of time. The salesman balanced the time spent on each element and provided me with a reasonably good understanding of each. However, I still spend time digging through the owner's manual, after the buy, trying to grasp the fine points of various elements.
