Amazing world class vehicle. Ride quality and driving dynamics are greatly improved over previous generations. Interior quality is among the best in the world. My only complaint is I wish they would build more so they are easier to find and a little cheaper to buy.

The ride quality is smooth, and the engine performance is solid with good fuel efficiency around 25 MPG combined, which is great for this segment. What made the experience even better was the excellent service from our sales representative, Trinity Howell. He was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain all the features, answered all our questions, and made the buying process smooth and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend both the Tiguan SE and the dealership. I have now been to this facility twice in the last two years (once to get an appraisal for a vehicle I ended up selling myself and now (Sept/2018) for a used vehicle purchase. Both times great, but this most recent was a shockingly easy process throughout with a very good person (Greg Leo) from CarMax. I had a specific need and the car was in CA (I am in TX) and Greg set up delivery, responded to any request I had, and kept me informed at all times of the stages. When I met him for actual purchase, I was in and out of the process (including a trade in) in 2 hours (prob could have done less but we got along well). This IS the way car buying should be done! Period. Great people, great business model. I also used CarMax financing with zero issues (excellent credit) and there is no pressure involved whatsoever (it is built into their process).
