2025 Porsche 911 review
My 2025 911 GTS T Hybrid with 4-wheel drive was one of the first delivered to the U:S. The car is surprisingly fast, and it is virtually impossible to tell it is a hybrid. Acceleration is very linear and the handling is on a par with its power. Instrument layout is far superior to the 992.1 models, and the digital tachometer, which I was concerned about, is actually very acceptable.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Thank you to Kirk, Kevin, J.C. and Country Chevrolet. My wife and I are enjoying this wonderful dream car thanks to the efforts of a great Chevy team.

2008 Saturn Sky review
A true piece of American 2 seat Roadster manufacturing history. The Sky Turbo is a super fun to drive sports car that handles really well. Turns corners like it on rails with the 18inch tires. Everywhere I drive, it turns heads and gets the thumbs up. Whats really nice is the low cost of ownership due to American made parts and low maintenance cost. The Sky not only looks good, but is affordable. These will become highly collectible as they are approaching the 20yr classic car mark.

I purchased a 2013 Volkswagen EOS Executive from Autowise. Our sales person was Traci. She was the best salesperson we have ever dealt with. She couldn't do enough for us. My car is wonderful. Like new inside and out. The mileage was low along with the price. We received a phone call from Tracy to please if we could return the car for an oil change and filter replacement even though when we checked the oil it was perfect. They hadn't gotten to changing it which was their policy of doing things for their cars. Most dealers wouldn't bother once the car was off the lot. Today we got a phone call from Tracy saying that they found another key, which we only had one, for us. If we wanted one the VW dealer would have charged us $400 to replace it. I can't say enough to praise Tracy and Autowise. I will surely recommend them to others.
1989 Chevrolet Corvette review
I am the third owner and I have had it for nine years. Stored in the winters mechanically sound. Handles great, fun to drive, collectors car. I pay $150 a year for full coverage insurance due to the age of vehicle.

2012 Jaguar XK review
Got my 12 XK and absolutely love the lines. The wide hips in the rear with growl of the exhaust makes me happy. Absolutely love the car, don't care for no Bluetooth car play, but making due. 83K om the odometer and paid 12 for it, not bad. Will enjoy beefing up suspension, PowerPlant and make this egg plant colored exotic my baby!

No rush, hard selling or pressuring whatsoever. What a great experience. I was only looking since I’m from out of town and had some free time. I made it clear I would not and wasn’t able to be buying here or now. Yet I was interested in comparing and understanding the two cars so I could decide which was a better fit for me. I’ll be buying a Rogue SL when I get back home thanks to Ivan. My regret is I wasn’t able to buy from him. We met as strangers, salesman vs customer. When I left we were friends and are likely to continue a friendship when my wife and I return for the winter this fall. I can’t say enough good about him. Smart, knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent and understanding. He will go far in life as in successful.

2011 BMW 328 review
This is my 4th BMW and I love it. I bought it used and well-taken care of. I think that is definitely the key to a great BMW. On December 23rd of 2016 I purchased a 2014 Jeep Patriot from the Pompano Beach Carmax (Sample Road). My wife is pregnant and will soon give birth to our first child. Before this we were a one car family with a Fiat 500 and my wife was very concerned about not having a car to bring baby boy home from the hospital in, not to mention to make it to all of the Doctor appointments for wellness checks in. So, I decided why not make the purchase a Christmas present/surprise since we needed one anyways! Only problem was I had this revelation on Wednesday December 21, 2016 and Carmax was to be closed on the 24th and 25th for Christmas. The real issue was that the perfect car (She had been wanting a white Patriot for a few years now) was all the way in Clearwater, FL... some 250 miles away. I was told by the sales rep at Pompano Beach that while it was possible the car may be there by Friday, in time for me to pick up prior to Christmas, it was in no way a certainty. I then contacted the Clearwater store to speak with someone who handles the outgoing shipments and he basically told me that it was not going to happen. From my understanding, the way it works with Carmax is when the car you want is at a location less than 200 miles Carmax will do the shipping itself and it usually takes 1-3 days. But when it is further than that they outsource to carrier companies. In that case they have to wait until they have enough cars to send to make it economical for them to do so and also deal with bidding/price hunting etc... which complicates the who thing and makes everything take much longer. After learning all of this I gave the corporate office a call and got in touch with a Emilee, an analyst from the Carmax Customer Care Team. I explained my situation and how much it would mean to my wife and I (both in the form of glee for her and reduced anxiety for the both of us) if they could somehow get the car to Pompano Beach in time for me to pick up on Friday. Before the end of the week Emilee had gotten a whole team of people in the corporate office working on getting the car to us in time. I received telephone updates from her all along the way. By Thursday afternoon I received an email informing me that the car was in transit, followed by a call from Emilee letting me know that everything worked out and the car should be there Thursday evening or Friday morning and a call from the Sales Manager at the Pompano Beach store letting me know that he had spoken to Emilee and once the car arrived they were going to expedite the "unpacking" and everything that that entails. The real cherry on top came on January 3rd when my wife received a FedEx package while I was at work. Inside she found a set of very nice swaddling blankets and a card that read: "Chris, Thank you so much for letting our Pompano Beach Team help you find your new-to-you Jeep Patriot for your growing family! Here's a small token from CarMax to welcome your new addition. We hope your Jeep Patriot takes you on incredible new adventures! Sincerely, Emilee, Your CarMax Customer Care Team" Everyone was super amazing and I could not be more grateful for the professional and caring people at both the local Sample Road Pompano Beach Store and the Corporate office. Thanks to Cristy (Pompano Beach sales rep) as well for making the whole process and painless as possible. As a side note: The Patriot was absolutely immaculate inside and out despite having 27k miles on it, my wife would have sworn it was new before she saw the odemeter... She was happy I saved us some money ;)
2019 Jaguar F-TYPE review
Second F Type (accident last one-also V8-current SVR 575HP vs 495 last). Best value of any sports car, except Miata. Look at power, compare to cars costing 50%-100% higher. Wonderful exhaust, although not as growly as first ( monel vs titanium).

I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a sharp, tech-forward sports car that delivers genuine performance, upscale daily comfort, and a brilliant platform for subtle, high-quality upgrades, the EcoBoost Premium Convertible is tough to beat.

I was very happy with the service I received and will remember that when it comes time to buy my next car!
2002 Ford Thunderbird review
In 2002 they sold over MSRP adjusted for inflation @$54K in todays money- pricier than the 2002 Corvette and sold like 30,000 that year. I think that new car buyer had to probably be searching for the 1955 Thunderbird experience to shell out that kind of cash, and most people born on the 60’s and 70’s just didn’t understand that appeal. Oddly, the demographic that did BABIED their cars, kept up maintenance, have all the original tools and covers (just try and find that T-handle wrench for the hard top for example) when you get lucky enough to get a shot at buying one of these babies cars you’ll find they’re sharp and quick, amazingly so despite what people someone lent one to to write about said 20 years ago. Shod with 17inch tires 🛞 and solid suspension, people can complain about the horsepower being light, but stomp it and it will jump, zoom and weave solidly with the best of them. My drive home from buying this car was a blast. Will other sports models eke out slightly better speed, power and performance over these 20 year old T-birds? Sure, why not. Does it matter if you’re not at Road Atlanta? No. For me, this a sleeper sports car that’s about to bust onto the scene and see its reputation finally living up to the 2002 Car of the Year Award Motor Trend gave it. I think you need to find one of these babied sweethearts like I did. It’s a blast to find a good one and discover what an under rated blast it is to drive. Can’t really call it super nimble, but I respect mines solid ride and reasonably quick response & rocket like performance. The incredibly clean lines scream style visually and I suggest that a 2 tone leather optional interior is worth an extra $1K (over the basic. $11-12 K value) a hard top/rack/tonneau cover intact is worth another grand. ($13-14K total seems fair generally for a babied one). Check the rubber suspension parts underneath (inside the front wheel well behind the tire) is the easiest one to check quickly for rot w/o getting under the rear).

2013 BMW 128 review
This car has been a ton of fun to own. I searched far and wide to find a 128i couple in dark gray, with navigation. Patience paid off and I found the one I currently own several months later, and it has been an absolute showstopper. I am constantly getting compliments on this car, even though it is now seven years old. It is aging very gracefully and has not been hard to maintain. Highly recommend.

My experience with the salesman Edison was anything but high-pressured. He was low keyed, compassionate, helpful and insightful. The manager Phil was extremely patient, friendly and accommodating to the point of matching me to my next ride. Soooo unlike the dealership I went to that was the diametric opposite... Bev. The finance officer Lauren was a delight to work with in closing out the paperwork which is always such a dreadful part of the process. If you're interested in purchasing a vehicle without all the hassle that comes with it... Sunrise is the place for you.
2012 BMW 128 review
I have had convertibles since 1975. 68 Camaro, 76 Jeep CJ5, 92 Chrysler LeBaron GTS, 96 BMW 328iC, 06 Pontiac Solstice and now the 12 BMW 128i. Retired in 2017 and had to feed the desire for another convertible in 2019 and the 128i ticked all the boxes for my current desires. Fit and reliability. At 6'1" I don't fit into a MX5, so that's the 1st two check offs. RWD, so no Audi, A4 FWD in my price range. Six cylinder preferably straight 6 for perfect engine balance. Nissan 350/370 are ugly chops. Then the exotics(shut up Porsche boys) were too expensive for repairs. I learned "basic" repairs on the E36. I have done many easy maintenance jobs in my garage that allows me to have this Touring car. As a touring car having a back seat is great for a cooler, backpack, and doggy space. With the trunk space (2X) of MX5 this makes a great touring car for weeks on the road. 230hp for a car this small is great for ripping through the Rockies and the Twisted Sisters outside of Fredericksburg of Texas.

2016 Ford Mustang review
Bought my 2016 Mustang GT used have had it exactly one year it has 45,000 miles on it, haven't had one problem it runs great and is fast! . And I'm always still getting compliments on it. It looks great, is fun to drive, and still turns heads. This is my 8th Mustang I'm a Mustang fantatic! Love them.

2015 Lexus IS 250C review
Maybe I'm easy to please...but I doubt it. I bought this vehicle for my wife, and to be honest I tried driving it every chance I got. The hard top convertible is amazingly quiet, impressively functional (opened & closed in 7 seconds), and just all around amazing. I've never enjoyed driving a convrtible (road noise) until we purchased this vehicle. Great handling with the top up or down. Great product all around. We regret that we traded it in a couple of years ago. Should have kept it.

2018 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I've owned 8 Corvettes, an M3, M4, a 528, Porsche 911 C4S, an Audi A4, Audi A5, Mercedes E550, Cadillac ATS4, a Volvo, three VWs, many pick up trucks and SUVs, so I have a lot of varied experience with different types of vehicles. Two weeks ago I bought my first Jaguar, an F Type R convertible. So far I love the car. It looks good, it's really fast, ride is comfortable for what it is and it sounds great. Let me address a couple of the complaints I've seen online. First, that the interior is cramped. Based on my experience it's no more cramped than other sports cars I've owned and driven. In fact it feels more spacious than the 2017 C7 Grand Sport I also own. The Vette has more/better tech. Technology is the one area I think the Jag is lacking. The trunk space is very limited but it's a sports car. I've seen online comments that if your bag is bigger than a loaf of bread it won't fit. Not true. You can fit a couple of overnight bags in the trunk of my convertible. A word about the exhaust sound. It seems everyone loves the extra loud exhaust. I do to...sometimes. The good news is that you can have it both ways. In "normal" mode it just has a nice growl and is actually rather quiet. But put it in dynamic mode and it has a completely different personality. I really like the fact you can have it both ways. Quiet or loud, beauty or beast, at least on the 2018. The only piece of the puzzle missing at this point is reliability. If it proves to be reliable I'll have no regrets. Time will tell.
