2024 Chevrolet Camaro review
I love my Camaro. I absoltely cannot stand the way the cargo shade has to be completely and properly attached in order for me to drop my convertible top. It is beyond infuriating when you get in the car and push the button to drop the top and a message comes up on your dash panel saying cargo shade must be engaged in order to perform this function. You then have to pop the trunk and go push the cargo shade tabs back down on their installed position. It is an absolutely ridiculous thing to have to do to use your convertible top.whoever designed this and whoever approved this are people id like to meet face to face to physically show them my frustration of having to repititiously stop, open the trunk and push 4 raggedy plastic tabs down to open or close the top. You are screwed if it rains having to do this. I would say 4 our of 5 times i have to do this didnt even touch my trunk to make the tabs slide off the pegs a little. For as much as I paid for my car, i am xxxxxx off at the cheapness of this cargo shade and what happens if it gets lost or destroyed??? I will not be able to open or close the top at all. This design flaw being in a Chevrolet Camaro on the last year it is to be made should be consuming Chevrolet with embarrassment and they should recall the cars and override having the plastic snap tabs have any effect on the functioning of the drop top. Someone really should look into this. It makes no sense why it has to be sttached seeing how there is nothing attached to the cargo shade. It is very cheaply made, the tabs are made to wear out quickly especially if u use them often. To put it simply, Chevrolet Camaro designers and upper level ranking positions are putting out severely below par produxts that are supposed to be a member of chevy's infamous models of automobiles that are no longer in production. I thought Chevy prided itself on the collectable discontinued models. These designers must considee collectors as jokes and that parts and ideas like only allowing the top to drop is if a scrap piece cardboard wrapped in thin carpet with a whole in each corner with a plaatic washer on each side of the hole that has to snap onto a stubby little platic button sized "peg" and not come off. Just shutting your door lightly knocks the shade loose. This is stupidest xxxx ive ever had to do on a vehicle and i get more and more xxxxxx off every single time i have to mess with the xxxxx Cargo.shade to use the parr of the car that was the deciding factor in me buying car in the first place. I wanted a badass camaro. What i got was a cluster migraine xxxxxxx no purpose having cargo shade controlling the most important part of the car as far as making it convertible. I dont know how to request that Chevrolet refund me achunk of my money, all i know is this particular part ruins the entire freedom of having a push button drop top and instead u get issue after issue of stopping and pushing crap tabs down. I am heartbroken because my 2024 Camaro is paid in full and i had a lot of extras done to it before i even picked it up because it was supposed to be a discontinued original sports car in chevrolet production. Now i have a really pretty car with cheap plastic tabs controlling the functioning aspect of the entire convertible parts of my car. It is disgusting. Can the cargo shade be overridden or removed permanently so i can no longer worry about using the main function i wanted of the car i got? Please God someone say yes! Please Chevrolet Productions refund the money needed to make this happen. What kind of integrity is left in a classic sports car with such subpar design and production and easily destroyed parts detrimental to the main functioning comtrol of the entire convertible mechanism? Someone make it make sense because this math aint mathing for me.!

2003 Lexus SC 430 review
After 20 years of dreaming, I found my Egyptian Sand Pearl ‘03 beauty with 142910 original miles. Got most of its records and it had great care! I have changed all the fluids and timing belt water-pump Tensioner, thermostat, hoses & radiator to drive everyday in the summer and fall! Mileage on super has been 19.8 to 22 mpg mostly city driving ! It has been nothing short of a fantastic cruiser! Make sure you do the tb and wp every 9 yrs or 90000 miles and the engine will be bulletproof.

2009 Pontiac Solstice review
My 2009 GXP is a delight. Goes like stink, handles like a cat on carpet, stops like glue and (if I keep my toes out of the fan) averages 32 mpg. Bought new in Denver, I now have over 146K miles on it. Replaced cracked turbo at 124K. With top down, my luggage is a shaving kit. Installed Hidden Hitch for Tag-Along trailer to carry a spare on road trips. Towing trailer at 85, mileage drops to 28. Keeping it till I expire.

2002 Lexus SC 430 review
Never a "have to have it" kind of car guy until I saw, researched and drove this car. It's a solid, powerful, and super slick cabriolet that only catches the eye of the passionate. It has a beautiful saddle leather interior with gorgeous wood details and a really good stereo that rivals todays' car stereos. It has strong and silent 4.3 V8 that is top of the list reliable. I bought my 2002 in 2023 and fixed a few things with the audio system and is now a low-mile like-new car. I love driving it when I can and will til I can't drive anymore.

2017 FIAT 124 Spider review
My car has a name. I named her Felicity. I've owned 2 sports cars before, but only weekend cars. Now Felicity IS my daily driver and I love it! I get compliments and she's surly a head turner! Fiat is overall reliable.. also she's a little four cylinder engine. Specifically, that features a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo four cylinder engine. I was told to stick to the 2019 model and to avoid years 2018 AND 2020. Felicity is a 2019 and this year is selected for the best engine experience. But only has 26k miles only! so singers crossed that further expensive repairs don't kick-in in the future lol

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. 2020 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider review
When I first saw the 4C with its stunning beautiful looks and then the Spider which reminded me of an old Dino Ferrari I thought wow! Then I read it only had a turbo charged 4 cylinder and no manual transmission so I wasn’t too keen. Fast forward a few months later and I found myself at the local Alfa dealer and had a test drive. OMG! The handling of the car and the “connection “ I seemed to have with the car was nothing I had experienced before and this is from a previous air cooled Porsche 911 die hard!! I had to have one. Fortunately the Minister of Finance in our household did some maths and a few months later I was driving home a beautiful giallo ( yellow to you non Italian speaking car buffs) spider. Every time i drive this thing she always brings a smile to my face. Upon parking and exiting the car I never fail to turn around and look back. Is it perfect - absolutely not, the interior is cheaply put together, it lacks any and all creature comforts, it’s noisy as xxxx, but who cares? People risk neck injuries as they turn to see what it is as I drive past, kids love it and it announces itself a kilometre before it arrives anywhere due to that loud booming exhaust. Getting in and out requires grace and athleticism which left me in my teens if I had any at all but once snugly fit in those racing seats the whole cockpit surrounds you like a jet fighter ready to take off and boy does it ! It’s amazing how fast this car is helped predominantly by its super low weight and tarmac hugging low height. It’s such a visceral experience that every petroleum head needs in their lives.

2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 450 review
Great GT. Very comfortable. Excellent performance. Super good looking. Would buy again. Is the 3rd SL we've owned and, is likely, THE best one of all. Doesn't have that V8 sound but at $20K less in price, we'll accept that . . . in a heartbeat! I.e. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and 107 MPH in the standing 1/4 mile is plenty quick enough!

2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63 review
Awesome power, incredible braking, unbelievable handling and a fantastic exhaust note!!!! This car is absolutely amazing! The interior is gorgeous and the seats are incredibly comfortable. The Burmeister sound system is terrific. I never want to get out of the car. If you can’t ever seem to get enough power, it’s worth the money to get the SL63’s engine over the SL55. The extra 100+ horsepower gives you an experience you won’t believe.
