2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

The seats in the challenger will suck you into them and hold you securely while you are operating the car. Wether it be taking a nice Sunday stroll or flooring it around a corner drifting, the seats will hold you securely and snugly. The Challenger has a huge trunk space for additional groceries or clothing for trips or the grocery store. The back seat is big and can lay down flat. For an adult they back seat will be cramped. A car seat will fit back there and works well. There are multiple models of challenger out there. From the SXT, GT, RT, TA, Scat Packs, Red eye, xxxx cat and demon. The challenger turns heads no matter where you go or what model you choose. The performance you will get out of your car will leave a smile on your face every time you drive it. It will also leave you wanting to drive all the time. When you first step on the gas and the challenger responds. Pushing you back into your seat a little giving you the feeling of the power it holds. If that doesn’t make you smile you are in the wrong vehicle. If you want the best modern Muscle car look no further the Challenger is it. Since the 60’s and 70’s the challenger hasn’t changed much unlike the Mustang and Camaro. Rarely take time to write social media reviews. However experience I had at the dealership this week is worth a review. I was not needing a car, but always keeping an eye out for the right deal. On Tuesday of last week I had called in the morning to ask for a sales rep I had purchased from before. What could have been a honest mistake, I was put into voicemail. Not hearing back all day, I decided to call one more time as I was ready to pull the trigger on a near identical vehicle much closer to my house. This is when I sales person "Nick B" answered the phone. He informed me it was an honest mistake that I was put to voicemail of a former sales rep and that he would be happy to help. Having held management positions, and worked for good people in my career, I have to say, the energy and hustle was top notch. I explained the situation at the competing dealership and Nick cut through all the garbage negotiation and sales tactics that the other dealer tried to use on me (not knowing my background). In a matter of 60 minutes I had 3 phone calls from Nick setting the parameters of the deal. The next morning I was greeted by a text to ask if I was coming in at lunch or dinner. The weather was terrible for a drive to Dayton, and I was so tempted to just spend a little more money and head closer to make my purchase. I could not do it. Nick's hustle deserved a visit to look at the car. I arrived around dinner time and Nick was waiting at the door to greet me. The car was pulled up and we were ready to deal. Nick was efficient in execution as he was in setting up the deal. From getting payoffs, to coordinating the shop to ready the vehicle, to working with finance and matching the trade of the other dealer. I had other sales people that you would sit in the dealer for multiple hours waiting to get through. Some of this compliment also goes to Matt S. in Finance. Copies, signatures, even took the time to get me a refund for my trade in Lexus Warranty that I was not going to use. Customer was first with both of these gentlemen, not at the expense of the Company, but to be seamless and professional. The last part of the evening came when I was signing the paperwork. Matt told me that the detail team was not able to finish my car at the late hour, but would be happy to do so over the weekend if I wanted to come back. As I was saying I just wanted the plastic off the floor and the mats in, Nick came in the office and said he already had it done while transferring my plates. Nick also did not forget another small detail I had emphasized to him at the outset. I travel a lot and have a laptop in my car. It is imperative that I have a privacy shield cover over the cargo area. To end my experience, Nick did not forget that request. Lexus no longer sells them in parts, something I noticed even with the GX back in 2020. So Nick had me drive into the garage out of the rain, helped me move my belongings to the new car, then took me up to the "lost and found". Again, not additional expense to the company, but more time for him. Nick at the late hour was going through every privacy cover with a measuring tape to get me squared away. We ended up not finding one, but how could I be disappointed with that effort. To anyone buying a car, I cannot guarantee your sales person will give the same experience, but there is no question that Nick was a professional and will have me back for my next car which is due in about another year. In a still tight labor market, it is tough to find employees like that.

2022 Dodge Challenger review
I absolutely LOVE this car! Mine is the SXT base trim with the Pentastar V6 engine, purchased used at 37,000ish miles, but it is still the best car I’ve ever owned or driven. It is extremely comfortable to sit in (I am 5’10), on par with the comfort of my dad’s old ‘87 Camaro, which was also incredibly comfortable. It’s not a cramped space to sit in and the console is a comfortable arm rest height. But family conscious buyer beware, this isn’t a family friendly car; there’s pretty much no legroom in the back of the car. Maybe if you’re short and very skinny you could fit well, but taller or heavier folks will definitely not fit in the back. I certainly struggled to fit just to pull the seat down to extend the trunk space! The headrests of the backseats are a little tall and don’t let the front seats click back up all the way unless you pull the bucket seats up really far which is a little annoying but as someone who doesn’t lug around much it’s not something I’m really frustrated with. The trunk is super spacious! It rides very smoothly on the absolute garbage roads here in Western Washington (we have some of the worst roads in the US). Still bumpy because the potholes are insane, but smoother than our my parents vehicles and my old car (2011 Kia Soul). The audio controls on the steering wheel are mounted on the back which was odd to me initially but I have quickly adapted to their placement and make use of them a ton with Apple Music. Speaking of music, the base 6 speaker audio system sounds phenomenal as it comes; loud and I can really feel the drums and bass on higher volumes which I love, though I’ll be adding a subwoofer at some point. Let the music play! The engine and transmission run and function well and shifts smoothly in both regular and sport driving mode; I love sport mode, the slight engine sound difference and touchier throttle is fun, but it does reduce fuel efficiency a bit so I don’t use it too terribly much. I do wish the car was fitted with a cat-back exhaust system so it at least has the sound of a muscle car (where’s the allure in a muscle car, particularly one that revives the classics in a modern form, that has a quiet engine?) while retaining the more dependable and fuel efficient motor. That is something I will be saving up to change out, but that’s just me; for many that doesn’t matter, but is something to note if you are an avid lover of classic muscle cars and want to enjoy its allure even if you can’t afford the higher trims with the V8s, I certainly couldn’t; but that’s okay, I still cherish this car and appreciate the reliability of the V6 as a lower income individual. One thing I really don’t like (but chose to live with as I love the car to death otherwise) is that a lot of the climate control features are “locked” behind the infotainment screen; making it a big distraction and hassle to change between max or regular air conditioning and the which fans are blowing. The only buttons for it is a dial for fan strength, an off switch, an auto button, defrosters, and the AC on/off button. The USB and aux plug ins are inside the console, which is kind of awkward, but I actually like that as it makes you put your phone in the console (unless you have a long cord, mine is coiled) which prevents it from being a distraction. There is a moderate blind spot, but it is easily corrected with *properly* angled side mirrors. All in all I love this car and couldn’t recommend it more than I do. I plan to try to make this last the rest of my life in the best shape possible. It’s Mopar or no car! 🚗

2015 Dodge Challenger review
2015 SXT plus V6 full leather interior absolutely love this car. Don’t let the V-6 fool you. This thing really runs out. My last car was a 2014 challenger hemi RT and this would’ve kept right up with it. Great car for the money. Cold air kit, and this eight speed transmission really made all the difference. Best 0 to 60 time 5.6 seconds.

2015 Ford Mustang review
I have a premium Yellow 2015 GT convertible. Black interior (not charcoal gray) with a Black top. This car has the 6-speed automatic and therefore, it does not constantly shift up/down like the newer (lousy) 9-10 speeds. Mine includes the Ford Performance PowerPac 2 with RTR axle backs. With only 19,000 actual miles, this car looks, sounds and performs excellent. Would not sell it for any Corvette (have had 3 of them) nor any other Convertible with a 9-10 speed auto. 2021 Dodge Challenger review
Solid car overall. The 392 delivers strong performance and the Harman Kardon sound system is excellent. Only issue I ran into was the water pump, which is a known/common problem on these engines. Aside from that, no major complaints. A muffler delete really wakes the car up — highly recommended if you want better sound.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I bought a Mustang GT because I was dissatisfied with my 2020 Corvette's ride and ergonomics. Also, because neither Chevrolet nor Dodge had an answer to the Mustang. The GT has great features with its touch screens, intuitive HVAC controls and other vehicle control features, The interior is comfortable. It could use power tilt-tele steering wheel. There's plenty of gauge clusters, and color schemes to keep you busy. Same for Drive modes. Braking is very good, especially the optional Brembo's. The sound system in top B&O guise is the minimal you'd expect. It doesn't measure up to Mopar. Power is good, but low end torque could be better. The exterior styling would be second to Camaro if there were one, but it keeps improving. Opt for the 20inch wheels for looks and handling. Choose the right paint, and get the 6 speed if you like manual gears. Ford, increase fuel tank size from 16 to 18.

2017 Ford Shelby GT350 review
Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang, this is it. But you have to understand what you're buying. The 5.2 Voodoo engine is an engineering masterpiece, no other Ford engine sounds close to it. It is a review happy engine, but you need to put your head in that of a racing driver, not a regular commuter. Oil level, temperature and pressure are all items that need to be checked prior to ringing out this motor for all its goodness. The suspension is harsh compared to a typical Mustang, but it's liveable. These cars were only offered in a 6 speed manual, so that "automatically" removes it from many people's lists. All in all, it's a driver's car, it's special and if you understand that and get the chance to drive one, you won't be sorry.
