2022 Nissan Leaf review
After owning many Nissan LEAFs over the years (Canadians kept buying them from me), the newer body style in 2018 release was a total winner. Better looking and the ride is definitely more refined, and our 2022 is flawless. These cars are the best kept secret in motoring. They are a HUGE value, and would be a great only car, but in almost all instances, the PERFECT second vehicle. They cost almost nothing to drive and maintain, and the insurance is also very reasonable.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
I love everything about this car. Firstly, it looks so great! I have the 2024 RS in red with red/black interior - a real head turner. I think it's much better looking than it's Cadillac cousins (Lyriq and Optiq). It is usually the best looking car in the lot. And I've had no issues with reliability, despite the initial stop-sale when it launched. It's incredibly comfortable and REALLY fun to drive. Do I miss Android Auto? No -- Google built-in is fine, although I agree that some customer choice would be nice. (GM just wants to sell subscriptions). The range and charging speed are good for me, but I only charge at home. The only downside is that it's a bit large for my lifestyle, living in a dense city. My next car will need to be a compact. But if you need a big back seat space, this is the car for you.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I've had my Ioniq 5 for almost 10 months. I chose to lease the car because 1) the EV technology is changing so quickly and 2) to make sure an EV was the right vehicle for me. So far, I've been very pleased with almost everything about the car. At an 80 percent charge, I get 270 miles consistently. The car came with free charging at Electrify America charging stations, but I've yet to use one as I charge at home which costs me virtually nothing as I have a solar panel array that provides plenty of energy for my home and car. The ride, for the most part, is comfortable (the seats could be a little more comfortable). There are plenty of features that I appreciate (all of the warning sensors come in handy, the voice system is good and Bluelink works well). The only downside (for me) is that I got the standard long range edition which gets in excess of 300 miles on a full charge but is missing some of the more refined options (mirrors that fold in when parked, power lift gate, driver seat memory, etc.) If I had to do this again, I would have gone with the next model up. My lease will be up in March of 2026, and unless there is something that I think is better in the EV space, I'll be leasing another Ioniq 5.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
Fantastic car. Awesome looks. More room than a m3 or mY. I've had a limited for almost a year and not one single problem. Usually get 225-250mi from a charge, but actually had a couple of 275 and one 300 when most driving was city and I resisted the temptation to punch it. Makes me smile every time I drive it.

2024 Kia EV6 review
I own a 2024 EV6 Wind AWD (traded in a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited) and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned. And it can go 0-60mph in under 4½ seconds, which is on a par with some of my dream cars (Ferrari and Lamborghini from a few decades ago). Charging at home with a $150 charger that plugs into a regular power outlet is quick and adds power to the battery as I sleep. Absolutely love my Tesla. So much so we bought a 2nd one for the family. Smooth drive and zero maintenances in two years. Frequent software updates means I got new features long after purchase. Though I do suggest avoiding FSD. That's vaporware and will not be released in the lifetime of vehicles sold today.

2024 Tesla Model 3 review
This is easily the best car you can own. I decided to upgrade from a 2021 Tesla to my current Tesla Model 3 in November 2024, a few months after the model was refreshed. Both were amazing cars and blew me away. The 2024 model is extremely class-upgraded and refined over the original. It is easily the most luxurious and tech-forward car in its category. This car is ZIPPY, and it handles amazingly. The self-driving features are absolutely superb and get software updates frequently. This is the best car for road trips around town, honestly, anything you throw at it, it handles. It is so cheap to fill the range back up at home (I keep mine at 80% max unless road-tripping). The convenience alone of this car makes it worth it, but the material quality and luxury feel make it all the more worthwhile. Great car for the money, it is my 3rd bolt and this one is the best I’ve had, although I didn’t have any problems with the other ones this one drives and rides better. It could use more sound deadening because there is a lot of road noise, other than that it’s a great car. I have the RS and I love it, I can’t understand why GM is going to quit making it!

2026 Subaru Trailseeker review
We were looking for an electric equivalent of the Subaru Outback and this is it. The Trailseeker has plenty of cargo area, roomy back seat, and is easy to drive and park. We've owned electric vehicles in the past (Tesla Model 3 and Model Y Performance, BMW I4) and a Toyota RAV4 plug in hybrid so the Trailseeker felt familiar from the start. Too early to tell long term reliability but based on past electric experience it should be easy to maintain.

I have one complaint. When I bought my car I presented my DD214 to the closing person to get my Purple Heart license plate. When I got a plate which was delivered to the dealership it was NOT a Purple Heart license plate. Turns out a Purple Heart license plate can only be mailed directly to the vehicle owner and NOT to the dealership. The application had to be resubmitted for the plate which I got in the mail, and, I had to file for a refund of the fees which should not have been paid. However, not all the fees paid in error and charged to me on closing were refundable. So, if you're going to apply for a Purple Heart license plate, remember Titus-Will may be ignorant (hard to believe) on the process. I would have thought such a large dealership should have known the state limitation on the mailing of these plates. So I am out some dollars.
2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

2020 Tesla Model 3 review
I purchased my 2020 Model 3 with 55k miles on it in 2026. The battery test showed that the batteries were in good health with over 80% of their original capacity still available. Both the interior and exterior had held up well. At the price for the used car, it is an incredible value. I'll save over half of the car payment on gas by charging at home. I love the minimalist look of the interior. At first, I thought the touch screen would be hard to use while driving, but with the buttons on the steering wheel and the temperature controls always present, it's very simple to operate while driving. The driver profiles that save your settings per driver are what makes the car so easy to love for me. My wife is a foot shorter than me. Having the mirrors, seat and steering wheel adjusted when I sit down are great. Also the bluetooth preference as well as all of the other car settings are saved to each of our profile, radio stations, driving dynamics, etc. The car is very sporty, especially for the money. It is much more sporty and fun to drive than anything else I have ever owned, including a Mini Cooper convertible. It will not best many cars you could compare it to, but it is also so much cheaper to purchase, and then maintain after the purchase that it wins in my book.
