2016 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I've owned this GMC Sierra 1500 All Terrain since it was 8 months old. With the exception of two warranty issues (failing power brake vacuum pump and transmission electrical harness), I have been totally happy with this truck. Up until now, my 1996 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado with it's 5.7L Vortec engine was my favorite truck of all time, this GMC (5.3L LS engine, 8 speed automatice) has earned the top spot now of my all time favorite truck. It is comfortable to drive, and runs as good as the day I bought it over 5+ years ago. I've got 71.5K miles on it. My biggest issue is I wished it had the 6.2L engine for better towing capabilities. Other than that ... love this truck.

2011 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have had my 2011 GMC Sierra for a few years now, i love it. i have hauled multiple loads of wood with the truck loaded too the max and a small trailer loaded to the max. can definitely feel the weight but my truck never hesitates at all. Very impressed with the performance of these trucks. i have worked at a ford dealership for years, but ill always drive a GMC.

2015 GMC Sierra 1500 review
We have owned our GMC Sierra 1500 for approximately 9 years now. The only real disappointment with the vehicle is that we had to have a full transmission replacement Just after the 100k mile without any warning whatsoever. The truck now has 107k miles on it and now , again out of nowhere, we are experiencing slipping in the trans and the engine light is now flashing. Very disappointing since we are starting to feel uncertain about the reliability of the vehicle now. The truck itself is gorgeous and shows ZERO signs of its age, sporting new rims and tires and a lifted body and no rust on the body at all. We hope there are no major issues with the engine as the vehicle has always been maintained as needed and on time for regular servicing at the dealership.

2020 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought my 2020 with 36k miles a couple of years ago and I now have 60k miles of trouble free very enjoyable driving. It was expensive, but worth every penny. The ride is so quiet and comfortable my wife and I prefer traveling in it instead of our 2018 Acura MDX which we also love. The 5.3 V8 has plenty of power and towing ability. The multi-function tail gate is genius, I hope to never be without one again. We so enjoy all the bells and whistles, especially the wireless phone charger. So glad I bought this truck!

2020 GMC Sierra 1500 review
Overall a great vehicle but I’m always concerned about potential DFM & 8L90 transmission problems. I had to replace four fuel injectors around 60,000 miles. I recently replaced a speed sensor in the transmission but this was at 110,000 miles. Others have not been so fortunate. This is not a vehicle built to be “hot rodded”. I strongly recommend 5,000 mile oil changes. Otherwise it’s absolutely the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Hope to drive it to 250k or so.

One of the best vehicle purchase experiences I’ve had in recent years. Just understand this is a dealership that specializes in rebuilds and set your expectations accordingly. It amazes me when people post negative reviews to the tune of “I didn’t know this car had been in an accident!” I’ve been buying rebuilds for the last 20 years and these guys are top tier despite being (from what I can tell) at a pretty high level of volume they move. Guss, the sales mgr, was a superstar. Personable & professional (despite being in very high demand). He was amazing to work with and personally involved every step of the way on the logistics of my out of state sale. I was looking to replace my 2024 Ford Maverick 2.0T with an AWD hybrid version of the same and they had a 2025 that was exactly what I was looking for. Autodome gave me a very fair trade value for my ‘24 and I drove almost 600 miles from NJ to make the swap. I made an appointment for an independent mechanic pre-purchase inspection and Gus personally dropped it off to have it ready for when I got to town. When I arrived I went to the mechanic, the car was in good shape but needed brake rotors. Upon shaking hands with Gus, before I even opened my mouth he said they’d be putting new pads & rotors on since he noticed a pulse. This was the first of a series of them doing right by me without me having to ask. The truck looked great on first inspection and I didn’t note anything I didn’t see in the pictures minus a scratch on the door. Next was the test drive, where I noted several minor issues: a chip in the windshield, a noticeable gap between the taillight housing and body, a missing bed storage cubby cover and a smooth plastic panel on the tailgate that didn’t match the rest of the spray-in bedliner. Gus happily put his guys to work and they took care of of every single issue before I completed the purchase. He even offered to pay for me to take it to a local dealer to reset the door keypad code that he didn’t have. Two days and 700 miles later, the car is exceeding my expectations (a buzzing heat shield at highway speeds was driving us nuts but it was an easy and free DIY fix once we figured out where it was coming from 🤣) The best rebuilders I’ve worked with are the ones who will take ownership over issues encountered during the sale that lesser dealers will lump under the “as-is” nature of buying a used car or branded title. No used car is free from blemishes, but in areas where the car is not as it was presented, the better ones will find a way to make it right. That was 100% AutoDome. My dad, who tagged along, has sold cars as a dealer and bought rebuilds for decades as well, and he was also very impressed. We both added AutoDome to our list of sellers we keep an eye on. 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought mine new in 2005. It now has 250,000 miles and still purring like a lion. It has been very well maintained has had very few repairs. It has been a pleasure to drive it’s both comfortable and has lots of power. I like how the front center compartment will go up for a sixth seat. It was able to hold the whole family with car seats and all in the back. It’s a good solid truck. It has never been garaged and it’s sat out in the Oregon coast rains now for seven years. It is finally showing signs of rust on the hood front edge and some color discoloration on the hood and roof. Its gone through a few head and tail light bulbs and had a few tire changes and brake pads jobs but what can you expect for a truck that is 18 years old with that many miles. I’ve been super pleased with it and when the sad day comes and it won’t run anymore, I might just buy another 2005 with less miles because it’s been so good.

2009 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought my gmc sierra in 2009 , brand new, and it’s the best truck that I have ever owned, and I have tried a lot of nice trucks, I mean i have owned a truck, Ford used to be my favorite , but it doesn’t even stand a chance up next to a gmc sierra like mine, my brother in-laws were very jealous about me owning it, my brothers all liked it, I have had a lot of pleasure driving my truck, and I have had very little problems with it, I’m retired now or i would buy another one just like it, gmc is the premier truck, it’s the very best, i love my truck.

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have a 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation crew cab 4x4 with the 2.7 Turbomax. Bought the truck used as CarBravo certified with 42k miles. I like the truck overall but have a couple of specific things that I would like to share: 1. If you are used to a V8, the 2.7 performance seems comparable to me, but the sound of the engine constantly reminds you that you are actually driving a 4 cylinder. It also feels a little more restrained than a V8 would feel in my opinion. If you’re looking for a V8 feel, skip the turbo for sure. It’s not a bad engine, just a different driving experience. 2. If you are considering this or any other GM truck, know that the factory wax coating on the frame rails is garbage. It comes off very easily and the frame rusts when that happens. Fortunately, mine isn’t too bad, and I have a plan to fix it, but it’s a maintenance pain that doesn’t have to be there. Fixing this is also an added cost I didn’t expect. Ford, Ram and Toyota all use an electro-coating process that seems to be better. The Sierra is a good truck overall, just know what you’re buying ahead of time.

It is a great truck with great capabilities! although i must say, some of the technology in this car has its low points. Center stack tends to not cooperate during bluetooth pairing and the headlights have poor illumination to the point i had to retrofit LED bulbs for better visibility. Overall very comfortable ride and smooth drive

handles and drives great, the electronics don't always work, mirrors don't always work, spray with wd 40, check engine light, EVAP culprit, auto nation has no luck with this, will drive it till the warrenty expires and its back to ford for me

2019 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I purchased a new 2019 SLT with the X1 package. It has the Red Quartz Tintcoat paint. I usually never leave reviews, but honestly this is the most comfortable, nicest loking truck I've owned , and I've ownwd alot of them. The only issues I've had was the brake software was flawed, took it to the dealer on recall and they installed a new software patch, Other then that I love the styling, performance and the interior is very nice. No regrets

2015 GMC Sierra 1500 review
SLT with most options. Purchased at 127k. Currently have 141k after 17 months of ownership. The tranny that came with it was not original. I have had to replace ball joints, a/c condenser, brakes, wheels, radiator, a battery and a starter. Can't complain at this mileage. This is one of the quietest vehicles I have owned (that includes Audi A8's) and it's shod with Cooper Discover AT3's that chomp through snow like my Toro snow thrower. I also replaced the stock halogen bulbs with LED's and what a difference! The interior is comfortable, and I did replace the drivers seat bottom cushion. The nav system sucks, it's not very intuitive and it isn't very good at mapping the best route. Besides, I use my sedan for long trips. Phone integration is a breeze. Radio surprisingly decent. Everything works as it should. It's easy to pop the kayaks in the bed and the ebikes on a carrier and head out for the weekend. When moving stuff, I have the 80" bed so I can fit loads of stuff under the hard tonneau cover. The interior still has NO squeaks or rattles. Amazing. The heated seats are slow to heat, and the heated wheel is slow to warm up. But this thing is such a beast in the snow and rain I don't want to drive anything else! All in all a very reliable, well-built, and for the genre a good-looking vehicle. People tell me all the time what a nice looking truck I have. It's stock. Thanks, GMC.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 review
My 2022 GMC Sierra 3.0 Duramax pickup truck is a good truck. I work on a farm and I also drive an hour to see my girlfriend. For the farm, it has excellent towing capability and for the hour long drive to go see my girlfriend, depending on the weather for traveling, I can get up to 35 miles to the gallon!

2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
Let me start by saying I have the AT4 model with the Duramax 3.0L diesel. I had a 2024 Elevation with the 5.3L V-8 that I bought to pull my 22’ camper. While the Elevation pulled my camper fine it drank the gas like it was on a binge. And with a 26 gallon gas tank it seemed I was filling up every couple of hours. After one trip to Nova Scotia I knew something had to change. I pulled my camper out west to Yellowstone and back through Arizona. It pulled like a champ and fillups were a lot more manageable. Even driving the speed limit out west I still got four to five mpg better than with the gasser. I liked the Elevation but I love the AT4. Way nicer ride and great handling. I get 30 per gallon of diesel on the highway if I drive the speed limit but I got it to tow with. I added a Titian replacement fuel tank so I have 43 gallons instead of the 26 it came with.

2020 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I purchased pre-owned 2020 1500 SLT in February of this year. The truck rides comfortable and has plenty of room front and rear. My and I both enjoy it. My only drawback is the turn radius (lock to lock). It lacks compared to my wife's 2018 Yukon SLT, or the 2016 Ram I traded in. Have to many times maneuver twice to park it going forward or reverse. Otherwise happy with our purchase.

2015 GMC Sierra 1500 review
This truck is the base model and that is exactly what we were looking for. A good solid truck without all the fancy technology. It drives like a dream, handles just as well and the interior is sleek and well designed. Perfect black on black exterior.... a man's truck.
