Luther Mazda of Kansas CityReviews
2025 Honda Pilot review
I think this is the best looking exterior of the mid size SUV mix. The interior is great, but the 9in screen is dated (updated for 26) and the cabin is a little noisy on the highway (also updated for 26 but I haven’t driven one to test it). The quality of the rear review and forward cameras is pretty good but not the crispest I’ve seen. I have the Black Edition which does a good job of reducing the plastic in the interior. I think lower trims are a bit plastic heavy. Seats are comfy, lots of space for kids and I like the removable bench for captains chairs with the option to have the bench if you need it. For a road trip, I have put 3 car seats in a row 2nd row bench to leave 3rd row flipped down for more cargo. Would not recommend that daily though. If you need 3 in one row daily you want to consider a full size but I’m just fine with 2 kids in captains chairs 2nd row and 1 in 3rd with the other half of the bench flipped down for cargo (which is sufficient for a stroller). I think that’s enough for most people. Performance is fine but nothing exciting. You don’t have the power of say an Explorer xx although I’m not sure you actually need that. Perfectly fine as a daily driver and I switch to sport mode when merging in on the highway. Reliability is top notch - routine service and you can trust you won’t need much more. Hoping to keep this 8-10 yrs and I don’t anticipate a problem. I use the dealership, but any shop should be able to work on a Honda Pilot without a problem.

Brett was great to work with and very patient with me as I wasnt sure whether to go used or new on a Miata. After much research and reviewing used prices I ended up with a new Miata for very little more than a used one. No brainer , new car smell and full warranty thanks to Brett and Luther Mazda.
2022 Honda CR-V review
I love my Honda CRV! I have always driven Honda Accords, but when none were available, the sales rep recommended the Honda CRV. We took it for a test drive, and it handled very well. The seating is comfortable. The design of the interior and exterior of the CRV is excellent. Would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended!

Honda of OlatheReviews
Honda of Olathe review
Stephanie Diaz took great care of me when I was looking for a new car. Not only did she know the vehicles well, she was also friendly and joyful, not exactly the type of car salesman I have ever dealt with! It was like having a Honda Tour Guide show me around rather than pressuring me with high pressure sales tactics. It worked; I bought a CRV! Ron Weiner did a fine job with the paperwork, too. I can't believe I am able to write a good review about a car dealership without having to go to confession for lying! Oh, and Carol, sitting at the front counter (I have no idea what her job is, sorry) stopped what she was doing (both Stephanie and Rob were taking care of others) and came outside to help me with my GPS a few days later when I couldn't figure something out. She didn't have to, she could have told me to just wait, but jumped right up to assist. Great team!
2024 Honda HR-V review
I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

Rachel and Sam were great to work with. First time purchase at Legends. Very smooth process in trading my Tundra for a new Tacoma. I plan on purchasing from them again in the near future.
2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

2026 Honda Passport review
I've had the vehicle for 2 weeks. I like it but it's ridiculous the AC is not cold enough because it automatically keeps switching to "woke" mode. Meaning, Economy Drive mode. No way to switch it. Honda needs to fix this. The AC sucks in the 2026 Passport top model

FLAWLESS EXPERIENCE! Tony Chananikorn was great to deal with, very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a 2027 HR-V online with simplified pricing. There was already a $1,000 discount off the sticker price and I received an additional $500 off for being a veteran. The online financing application was easy and I saved a lot on my monthly payment with Honda leasing. They delivered the car to my house and the delivery checklist was impressive. I could not be happier with my purchase and the entire process!
2025 Honda Passport review
I purchased the Black Edition and I love it. I like: the auto adjust front seats, heated seats and steering wheel, the quite ride, smooth ride, the 9 speed transmission, the sound it makes when I push on the acceleration, great excelleration (especially when the Echo mode is off). The only thing that would make it perfect is better gas mileage.

I purchased my Mazda CX-5 in 2019 before it was Luther's. I was not impressed with that aspect a lot of errors. But the service department has always been great. When I call to schedule an appointment for Maintenace, they always work with my time frame. Service department employees are friendly, and I know everything will be taken care of.
2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

Oakes GMC review
I've dealt with better. Not completely negative of an experience. Not the best either. Their service dept seems to be slacking. How do you put a car on a lot for sale with a check engine light on? I can see when it was last cleared. Not very long before I bought it. Salesman trying to tell me the engine isn't getting up to temp because it's cold outside. No. It's a bad thermostat. Headlight wasn't plugged in. And WAAAAY out of alignment. Their cars are supposedly looked over with a xx point safety check. I doubt that. Looked over, cleared codes, topped up fluids. Put an oil change sticker on the window. But did they really? It looks clean so I assume so. The detailers did a FANTASTIC job!! This car was super clean!!
2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I have had several CRVs. I bought this one new in 2022 and love the mileage, the reliability and the look is good too for an economical SUV. My only complaint is that this hybrid does not have a spare tire and I am prone to flats so I was compelled to buy a tire and jack and put it in the back storage area which takes up considerable space. I am not willing to be out after hours with a flat only to have my AAA come and tow it due to not having a tire to put on the vehicle. My next CRV will not be a hybrid because of this issue. I can also say that my mileage has been reduced about 10 mpg after moving from the midwest to south Florida. I can only attribute this to having to use the AC on every trip since the climate is so hot and that is a bit of a disappointment. I used to get right at 40 or more mpg and now get around 30 mpg since the move. I am also glad to see the newer models got rid of the push button shift. It is very annoying in a drive through car wash because pushing the button into drive will not work unless you brake first and with a car directly behind you, it can be a dangerous situation to brake when a car is moving so close behind. My next CRV will have a spare tire and a gear shift in it! But otherwise my Honda has been a winner.

2023 Honda Pilot review
I purchased a 2023 Hilda Pilot from the Honda dealership on South Boulevard in Charlotte. I was treated like family from the moment that I arrived up until the moment that I drove off in my new vehicle. The service that I received from the sales associate, Christopher (Chris) Robinson specifically was absolutely amazing. Chris exceeded all of my expectations even though I was apprehensive about buying a brand new vehicle at the time. Chris put my mind at ease because he knew every detail about the car and he weighed out all of my options in a simplified manner. I will be sending all of my family and friends to Honda for their next auto purchase because Christopher Robinson knows how to take customer service to the next level while making you feel like you have a dear and trustworthy friend for life.

2020 Honda Passport review
I have one suggestion, add a fan switch on the steering wheel, it’s had to adjust while driving because the buttons are hard to see. The seat crevice between the center are hard to get into to clean or if something falls in you have to get a stick for help. One major problem is the air conditioner compressor died, the car is only 6years old. 60k miles.

This detail shop is the best. It’s the most organized & accurate, all they do as perfect. I got a car shine / protection inside and out on my brand new car and it looks 100% better than when I bought it a week ago. I will never go anywhere else. The manager Sean Simpson is the best.
2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
Purchased a 2024 White CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid in September 2023. 8 months in to driving it and 10k miles later, I can say with confidence this is the best car I have ever owned. This is the first hybrid I have ever driven, and it drives/glides ever so smooth compared to the gas cars of my past. The finish and tech of the Touring really feels luxurious and makes going on long drives something to look forward to. I average anywhere between 32 and 38 mpg per tank of gas, depending on how much I am on the highway. My lone criticism of this vehicle is how much it struggles to go uphill, so much so that I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone who lives in the mountains. I live somewhere relatively flat so this is not much of an issue.

Buying a car here was a wonderful experience . Juan and Caesar were very patient with me. I had never bought a car without my husband. Who felt I got a very good deal without his help. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a car , without feeling taken advantage of.

Oakes Kia of Olathe review
I got a message back within a hour or so from the dealer to get more info on a car my family was interested in. We were then assigned to Noah Phillips. He is very patient and kind, and willing to answer all of our questions. Because we’re out of state, it added more work for him but he persevered, even getting the dealer to agree to help fix some items on the car for us, which led to a sold car deal for him and a new (to us) car for us! Thank you Noah and Oakes Kia of Olathe!

Great car. Love Honda. Interior is fantastic. Touring comes with a lot of useable features. Exteriors looks sharp, not a box. Pick a good dealer for service.

We purchased this vehicle on the recommendation of our trusted mechanic. We did our research and the Pilot has not disappointed. The ride is smooth, and comfortable. There is so much interior space, and the cargo area is larger than our Explorer. Best purchase ever.

Brett was great to work with and very patient with me as I wasnt sure whether to go used or new on a Miata. After much research and reviewing used prices I ended up with a new Miata for very little more than a used one. No brainer , new car smell and full warranty thanks to Brett and Luther Mazda.

CarMax is nice except that they do the "No-Haggle Price" thing, which is lame. It was nice though and the man who helped me test drive the car I'm looking at was really nice.
2022 Honda Pilot review
We decided on the Trail Sport. We live in mountains of SW Montana on a dirt road, off a gravel forest service access rd. We also transport elderly women from our church, so needed a 3rd row for seating. It's been a reliable, comfortable ride. Easy for the ladies to get in & out of. My hubby & I are sure enjoying the comfort level of this pilot. One of the great features is being able to adjust the traction to mud & snow.

CarMax Independence review
Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles. Very nice vehicle that is roomy with lots of cool options. My sales agent was very nice, no pressure and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I would buy from Carmax again!
2024 Honda Pilot review
After almost 180,000 trouble-free miles with our 2015 Pilot and an excellent Honda dealer near by, we really didn’t look hard at anything but another Pilot when it was time for a new car. Our EXL, purchased in March 2024, just turned 20,000 miles. We have had no issues with it, and the trip computer says we have averaged 27.1 mpg over the last 5500 miles. That is about 4.5 mpg better than the 2015. The good: It is extremely roomy and comfortable, even the third-row seats. We are very pleased with the fuel economy for a vehicle of this size. The headlights are the best we’ve had on any vehicle. I really like the rugged looks, especially compared the the previous generation. It’s great on snowy and slippery surfaces. The not-as-good: This is my first vehicle with all the modern safety aids. I find the lane-departure system annoying, especially in construction zones. The first time I backed out of the garage with bikes on a hitch-mounted carrier, the car automatically slammed on the brakes so hard I thought I ran into something. (Pro tip: Use tow mode when hauling bikes.) I don’t use the adaptive cruise control because it starts matching the speed of the vehicle ahead long before I would normally change lanes to pass, even with the system adjusted accordingly. However, I can’t see that future vehicles will have FEWER of these features, so I suppose I will just have to get used to them.

Legends HondaReviews
Legends Honda review
10/8/26-An Exceptional Experience at Legends Honda in Kansas City, Kansas! When you visit Legends Honda in Kansas City, Kansas, you will organically “experience the difference of a Baxter Auto Group dealership!” This quote from their mission statement could not be more accurate. My personal experience at Legends Honda was truly a different experience—in the best possible way! Hands down, the team delivers first-rate service of the highest quality. The Product Specialists, Sales Manager, the General Manager, and Service and Parts Manager, Advisor, and Specialists, were all a pleasure to meet, communicate with, and learn from. A very special thank-you to Kaleel E., Maria, Binty, Chris, and Calvin! After initially meeting Kaleel E., I later stopped by just to kick the tires one day and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted almost immediately with a friendly, genuine smile. Little did I know that the person who welcomed me that day would later become my Product Specialist for a future vehicle purchase. The team is quite welcoming, takes their time with you, pays exceptional attention to detail, actively listens to your needs, and makes you feel comfortable asking a variety of questions—no matter how big or small. At Legends Honda, every customer is treated fairly and professionally, with genuine respect and thoughtfulness. The General Manager at Legends Honda is clearly passionate about people, and it shows even before you walk through the door. The grounds and building are neat, clean, and well-maintained. The seating areas offer comfortable options, including individual televisions at tables for customers to enjoy and with outlets as options to charge their electronics. More importantly, every team member appears committed to prioritizing customer satisfaction and does so with integrity. When a dealership consistently makes its customers feel valued, it naturally builds trust, loyalty, and lasting relationships. A win-win for all! Although I asked quite a few questions, which unintentionally extended my visit and purchasing process, no one ever rushed or pressured me to hurry or quickly leave. Everyone remained patient, attentive, and accommodating throughout the entire experience. I also overlooked few small details two during my personal inspection of the vehicle, but once mentioned, those items and questions were promptly addressed and taken care of by Caiden, Tim, Kayden, and Tyler in the Service and the Parts Department-thanks very much, all! It is evident that Legends Honda takes its mission seriously and puts it into practice through every customer interaction. The team delivered an exceptional and truly unforgettable experience for me! I will most certainly return, will share with others, and have already recommended Legends Honda to several people. When others are ready to explore their options or purchase a vehicle, they are absolutely encouraged to make Legends Honda their first stop—and I have every confidence it could be their last! With five locations and continued growth on the horizon, Legends Honda and the Baxter Auto Group have my highest recommendation, every time! Their commitment to exceptional customer service, professionalism, and treating people right makes them stand out head and shoulders above the rest! When you visit Legends Honda, be sure to ask for Binty, Maria, or Kaleel E.-Product Specialists; Chris-Sales Manager; and, if time permits, Calvin-the General Manager. Ask for anyone, really. They are happy to help you and you’ll see and feel what makes this dealership so special. Thank you Legends Honda once again for an stress-free and enjoyable process from beginning to end. What an outstanding Sales and Service Team and a truly phenomenal example of customer service!
2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
We purchased our Honda CRV-Hybrid new and have been very pleased with its performance. I learned one has to use the EV feature often to achieve or get near its mileage promise. That said, I notice a significant drop in the number of times I need to visit a gas station when I use the EV feature consistently. When I put the back seats down I noticed the fit-and-finish of a small area of the carpet was not quite the quality I expected. However, I have a Honda generator and Honda snow blower and so, for me, the Honda brand is a favorite.

I drove 4 hours from out of state to come look at a Volkswagen. When I arrived they had the car defrosted and warmed up. While at the lot I spotted a Lexus and ended up looking into that car. I decided I wanted the car and Joe was very helpful and got the deal done. I was in and out and on the way back to Arkansas in about an hour from the time I decided this was the car I wanted. The dealership was very clean, service was top notch and very personable.

I was looking to replace my 2009 HHR that was in great shape. It was my "forever car". I found it at Kirk auto, after looking within 3 states. The selection of used cars on the lot were all in great condition and the owner was amazing! When he says no additional fees he means it. I would highly recommend kirks auto if your in the market for a great used vehicle. Thank you Dusty for the great experience, we have been on several road trips already and it is a great ride.
2014 Honda CR-V review
Bought in 2017 with 35K on it, this is my second CRV and fifth Honda since '95. It now has @ 140K on it and it drives almost like new. I had one major repair, a new drive shaft ($1100) which was the FIRST major repair on ANY of my Hondas since '95. Reliable and then some. Great resale value.

Acura of Wichita review
Worked with Earl Wood at Acura of Wichita. I had been drooling over my first used Mercedes. He was incredibly thoughtful and very helpful! The vehicle was in amazing shape, unbelievable clean. He had it reserved with a sign in the windshield. Had made sure the features that were important to my wife was visible. (Rear sun shade). Overall very impressed! Will buy another vehicle from Walser, and from Woody!
2024 Honda Prologue review
We bought this car on December 30th of 2025, with 41 miles on it. It was being sold as used because Honda had sold/leased it to themselves to collect the $7,500. By the time we bought it, it was down to $26,500, an incredible $30,000 discount. I'm saying this because it also is the basis for how happy I am with the car after $4,300 miles. We have had one trip to the dealer to replace a blower fan and will soon take it in for some big software updates. We have not experienced some of the issues (yet) that other people report, but we have a Honda warranty that takes us almost 8 years and 100,000. From my time on the Prologue forums, there are good dealers and bad dealers, just like any other car. Being that the Prologue is almost an orphan car (discontinued and not to be replaced), I think that it's important to find a good dealer who will stand behind the product. Now for the car: We are very happy overall with the range, the ride and the acceleration. I would say that some of the interior trim could have been upgraded a bit and I see some minor flaws in some of the trim and panel gaps. At this point I am going to say I almost love the car, but it's still early. It has sold us on having an electric car, especially with the price of gas today! I have calculated that with the price of electricity where we live in South Carolina, we are paying about $.04 a mile. If I was buying now, I would take a long look at a low mileage (probably CPO) Prologue and and stop losing $5-600 a month in depreciation.

Columbia Honda review
I Bought a new car there and didn't even have to come to the dealer. They were very helpful. I Would definitely do business there again.
2025 Honda Prologue review
I have owned this 2025 Prologue Touring AWD SUV for 3-months, driven 6,500 miles including a 2,200-mile road trip from Austin, TX to Telluride CO. and back and am very satisfied with my purchase. It doesn't have the range or acceleration of an AWD Tesla or Kia EV6, but the performance and range are good ( about 5.9 seconds to 60 mph and real range of 220 miles at 20-80 percent charging) and it is VERY comfortable with a smooth ride. Prologue is a great commuter SUV and a good road car for 200-400 mile distances. I had no issues fast charging at Tesla superchargers across the 2,100 mile Texas to Colorado trip, just plan on a short bathroom-charge break every three hours. The Touring package includes many Tech amenities like heated seats, apple car play, auto headlights, great info-media, navigation, adaptable cruise control, lane assist, auto remote locks, auto tailgate and more. Honda-Link-Onstar works well to control basic features, like charging, cabin temperature control, locks, lights, tire pressure and more. Fast Charging experience is good, but not any faster than 155 kwh at superchargers or 20-80 percent in 25-minutes ..SO just Home Charge it for commuting and save money-NO GAS STATIONS. This is a great SUV to transition from ICE to EV's, and the adjusted prices are reasonable. It looks like a Honda SUV, but has a good blend of GM-EV qualities that make a GREAT EV...
