2023 Kia K5 review
Too early to rate reliability, but so far I'm loving my 2023 K5 GT-Line. I absolutely love the styling and interior, though the seats are not the best I've been in (though not bad), and I have a hard time seeing the turn signal indicators even with the wheel tilted all the way up (I'm 5' 11"). Power with the base engine is adequate, and I'm thrilled that it does NOT have a CVT - it's got a good old torque converter-style 8 speed transmission. Gas mileage is better than rated by the EPA. Good tech and a very good set of safety features. I few nits to pick, but overall for the price I feel this is the best value in a sedan on the market today. Did I mention I love the styling?

2022 Kia K5 review
This is my 3rd KIA I have owed. They all have been excellent cars and mechanically sound including my K-5 except for my 2015 Kia Forte which which threw a piston rod. This was related to a recall which occurred in 2014 on the engine that was in my forte I believe and had the same symptoms as was described in recall. I was not granted a credit for that car which was upsetting. Other than that I am very happy with my Kia’s and my K-5.

After arriving at the dealership, Reagan approached me, and I immediately picked up on her positive vibes! As a returning customer from all the way back in 2018, I came prepared, hoping to purchase a new 2026 Jeep Wrangler. We went to the specific vehicle I had scouted out on the website, and Reagan took me out on a test drive minutes later. She was so sweet and helpful with the entire car buying/trade in process. Reagan and Nate appraised my old 2019 Jeep Cherokee and offered what I believed to be a fair amount of trade in value. They were even able to get me a better deal as a returning customer. We can’t forget about Ramon in the financing department, as he was very thorough explaining the additional options for warranties and what not. I felt educated and confident about my new purchase! Before I left the lot in my new Jeep, we noticed a small scratch on the hardtop, and Reagan immediately took action to come up with a solution to have that fixed. Years later, I still can’t recommend Earnhardt Chrysler Jeep Dodge enough! Thank you Reagan (and Nate…and everyone else who made my dream car come true!!!) for being so awesome and taking the time to create a great deal on my new ride.
2024 Kia K5 review
My wife and I extremely enjoy our new 2024 K5 Ex purchased courtesy’s of Waylan Hubbard sales representative and the LAWTON KIA TEAM in OKLAHOMA. We especially enjoy the KIA Access mobile remote options! The gas mileage, reliability, performance modes, luxury, Bose stereo system, interior & exterior design is beyond words! I would recommend this automobile over Cadillac, Lexus, and Jaguar being a previous owner of each including the 1998 Concours Deville and 2003 Escalade. The 2024 K5 rates a 4.9 by TruCar ratings over the 2024 Tesla Model 3 receiving a 4.5 rating, also over the 2024 Cadillac CT4 receiving a 4.6 rating. Leased a 2021 Kia K5 LXS and we loved it! Our lease was up this year and a week ago we purchased a 2024 Kia K5 GT- Line. 2023 Kia K5 review
I love my Kia K5 Gt Line! White with Red Interior which was hard to find. I traded my Hyundai Elantra because we travel a lot and our backs hurt. Now I enjoyed my Elantra but the K5 has the larger bolsters on the seats and it rides great being a mid size! Our 10 hour trips once a month are much easier now! Styling is great and all the options and safety features are awesome! Plus the full warranty can’t be beat! Thanks Bedford Kia for finding my car!

Returned for a warranty repair. Work was performed while I waited in the lounge. In and out in 45 minutes. We bought our 2027 Telluride in May from them and have been back twice, once for dealer added equipment and a 2nd time for a minor warranty repair. Purchase and subsequent service appointments were excellent. There are closer dealerships for us but we will drive the extra miles for this level of service.

I love my K5 it’s fast and reliable. Entering onto the highway is quick and smooth, I get that quick take off that’s needed. Also my first winter was great. I never got stuck I could always get out. The comfort is great the enterior is sharp. The outside has a different look and style of its own class. Love my K5

2025 Kia K5 review
I only had the car 1 month but drove it to Florida (all around) and back and put on 3,500 miles. My car is a GT-Line, Wolf Grey with the Red interior, Bose speakers etc. The car is a real pleasure to drive. Very Quiet on the road, and my mileage exceeded the 37 mpg epa rating, and that’s while maintaining speeds of 80 mph with 2 people and fully loaded with luggage. Little if any wind noise. Note that at times I hit much higher speeds not knowing since it was so quiet & smooth. The engine RPM was mostly between 2 to 2.1 at 80mph. The power of the 2.5 liter is good, and slightly better than the 2019 Camry I had, which was a very good car as well. The Bose system sounded great, and all the alert sensors and some other sensors like keeping your car steering between the lines worked very well, but I preferred to turn that off most of the time. If you turn on your turning signals to changing lanes, and a car is present, not only does your side mirrors alert you, but you’ll get sound notices and the steering wheel will vibrate. Triple redundancy. The handling is very good, and secure, brakes are excellent and has a very good feel to them. A very important note is, I appreciate that the 2.5 engine has both Direct & Port Injectors on each cylinder. Port injectors will help cleaned the valves and clear any carbon build up. This is the same arrangement my Camry 2019 had which greatly reduces or eliminates carbon buildup in these Direct Inject Engines. The Nav system worked flawlessly and quickly. I also love you can remotely start your car with the key FOB (No additional charge) or with Kia Connect though Kia connect is only free the 1st 3 years. Also, happily, it doesn’t have the stop & start engine control which can cause more wear on your starter motor with little gain on MPG. The seats are very comfortable as I can attest driving 12 hours straight on my first stop. The car’s 8 spd auto shifted smoothly in all conditions. Plenty of room inside. Lot of storage in the console area for incidentals and drinks. I enjoyed the Panoramic roof. The negative was the Combine toggle Climate & Media control is a bit counter intuitive and sometimes causes more effort to control. Trunk space is good, as I had lots of luggage. The car feels solid & hopefully reliable down the line. The only other negative which is because I do my own oil changes etc, is this car takes a Cartridge oil filter (Not spin on) and takes 6.1 quarts of oil, (Not 5 qts) but I knew this well before I bought it but it’s location and design is good. So it’s not a real big deal, but this will cost a little more for oil changes. Recommended oil chg is 7,500 but I’ll be doing it every 5 to 6K for sure. BTW recommended oil is 0 -30W. Based on my limited time but very heavy usage I highly recommend this car, and I really enjoy driving it. Very sporty looking.

2024 Kia K5 review
Forward collision is dangerous it slams on the brakes and have you spinning. Roof is too low. Speakers are not good. Exterior falls apart very cheaply made car. Great on gas great body design. Love the synthetic leather & the infotainment screen.

2022 Kia K5 review
Took the family to Vegas for a week. Enterprise have me the choice between the Malibu, Charger and K5. My youngest didn't want the grey Malibu and I didn't want to pay for the gas on the Charger with the V8. So we went with the black K5. I drive a SUV so it took some time to use to bending down to get into he car. Once we started driving I noticed how smooth and quiet the car was. The car accelerated with ease and the braking made you feel safe. My Dodge Journey is 2015 and doesn't have all the new tech. The K5's blindspot and car In front of you leaving warnings are great features. Although the K5 had great features the only negative I had was the infotainment unit. The unit worked just fine, I just didn't like how it was integrated. It looks as it was installed as an afterthought. Looks like it was just inserted like a Lego piece, I would prefer it flush in the dash.

For the money, probably the best car I've owned. For the price, value for dollar, it's unbeatable. Excellent safety features, great fuel economy, unbeatable warranty, and comfortable. An amazingly quiet ride, bettering many that cost twice as much. I think it looks great too, especially with the 18" wheels

This was my first experience with carmax, and it was amazing. First off, let me say that if you go to carmax at centennial, Las Vegas, ask for Muhammad. This man goes beyond and above for his customers to ensure they get the perfect car for them. He has the patience of a saint. Carmax should definitely look into promoting this guy. The company would really benefit from having someone like him in management. Secondly, the selection of vehicles rivaled other competitors, and their reserve system was a stress relief for us as we felt like we were scrambling to find a car before someone else purchased it. You will have peace of mind knowing that the car you want to see will be there waiting for you, no matter what your work schedule is like. They stay open late which is very helpful. They have a TV set up for kids and a nice woman came and handed us coloring packets and foam car toys for the kids.
