About 25mpg average. The exterior is just so attractive to me. The user interface control knob in the center console is interesting, but not troublesome. Surprising amount of trunk space!

This is our 3rd car purchased here. They find great older or high mileage cars. Clean them up, fix them up and sell back to the public. When it was time to get my stepson a car, I knew Hi Auto Sales would be where we would go to buy a good quality car that we could rack up more miles on. I’ve purchased 2 cars and put over 60,000 miles each on them when they both had over 130,000 miles already. Don’t be after if of buying a high mileage car from Hi Auto Sales, they can get you financed and back on the road. We will be back for a 4th car in the next year I’m sure.

I bought mine used a few months ago with it having 196k miles and some moderate exterior and interior damage for under 5k. I am using it as a project car build because it looks great and is really reliable. The gas prices might be a struggle though as it requires 93 premium making it a bit pricey to fill up. The previous owner of my car was not the best at keeping it in good shape and never logged any modifications or replacements so who knows what's happened to it. As of now the only main issues with my specific car has to do with the front axle and my brakes. My axle is making a vibration due to the previous owners lack of care for the vehicle as both the cv boots on the front are busted which has caused a slow leak which has just ruined my axle. Then the brakes are just old and need to be replaced. I also recommend not letting the car sit for too long without driving as my specific car and a few others I've heard from have a battery draining issue but if you drive the car regularly there should be no issue. Parts are very easy to acquire for this car and the manufacturing process was clearly done with care. If you can find one in good condition I suggest buying it.

My biggest gripe with the car is it does not have the performance of my previous 2001 IS300. Lexus could have used a more performance oriented engine. Otherwise, very reliable, trouble free, and handles very well on the road.

I got the car for reliability and comfort while driving around and taking customers out. Great look and feels. Performance is great in sport mode and equally as good in eco mode.

The good news? I found my car. The bad news? It was in Fontana! I live in Mission Viejo, O.C. What's even worse, the ride I arranged to take me back to pick it up, was taken to hospital with covid. Yikes! Well, I struggled to find an alternative ride yet it seems people just don't like Fontana. THANKFULLY, I had MATHEW as my salesman. He was a dream the moment I walked on the lot. MATHEW was very polite, non intrusive and he answered every question I had. I live on disability which isn't a lot but he helped me make a great deal and I was very happy. WHEW! Now, how to get it home. After 4 days, I still hadn't found a ride back to Fontana to pick up my new (Used) outback. MATHEW saved the day. He said he would deliver the Outback to me...And he did. My gratitude is huge. Every moment I was at Johnny's Motors, it was a stress free experience, which is so rare at most dealerships. I'm grateful to the owner for not insisting on 'wolfish' sales people that pester you at every step. MATHEW was fresh air in a hot room. He answered every one of my questions and seemed knowledgeable about all the cars. Yes, despite the distance, I will go back because I trust Johnny's Motors and I certainly am pleased with his team. I traded in my 2012 Honda Civic Si for a 2008 IS250 AWD and I could not be happier! This car has more tech and luxury than I could have ever expected. Heated/cooled seats, navigation, "snow mode", back up camera... you name it! When looking for a reasonably priced, luxury but used car... this is perfect! So happy with my purchase and I will now be a lexus owner for life.

I maintain this car at the local Lexus dealership. The performance tires last about 25,000 miles and it does require premium fuel. It’s a 6-cylinder with plenty of power and has a sporty feel. Mine’s AT with paddle shift (which we never use). No real issues, although the carbon cleaning that was recommended was a $250 surprise. Still a solid, dependable and enjoyable car.

I traded my 2009 Acura Tl for a 2015 Lexus Is 250 F-Sport Awd. New to the Toyota/Lexus brand, as I had been a loyal Honda/Acura owner my entire life. My biggest concern when purchasing a vehicle is reliability. The Lexus brand has great reliability scores and reviews from their owners. I have been pleasantly satisfied with this vehicle so far. Great aggressive modern styling, sporty handling and fantastic maneuverability. The AWD has proved to be impressive in snowy conditions. I've owned the vehicle for 9 months with 35k miles and have had zero issues. I called the nearest Lexus dealership to schedule routine maintence and they have a concierge service that will deliver a loaner to you, and then return your car when they are finished. They must not have many cars in the shop to be able to offer this service. This is a 5 year old vehicle and the car still drives and smells like a new car. My only complaints are that there is a lack of storage in the vehicle, the cup holders are awkwardly placed, and the factory remote start requires a monthly subscription (ridiculous!). Overall, a quality vehicle you would expect from the Lexus brand.
