2024 Mazda Mazda3 review
I’m a very proud owner of my Mazda 3 with the Preferred Package. I’ve only owned it not even a month yet, and I wish I bought this car prior to the vehicle I traded for it. It’s still getting broken in, but it has every feature I could ask for and need. The gas mileage is great, it’s comfortable, quiet inside, has the get up and go when needed and so much more. Granted, I can’t really give a good review, but so far my Mazda 3 has really impressed me and always puts a smile on my face when I’m driving around.

I dropped my car off the night before my appointment and the drop box was easy to use. The service department called me mid-morning to let me know they had the car in and when I could pick it up. When I got there, the car was ready, they had also done the inspection, which I had forgot was due, AND they had washed the car. Let me tell you a little story, I bought 2 new cars from Michael Garcia. A Ford Edge ST and a Ford Eco Sport. I live all the way in Springfield Ga ( Up 95 N, the last exit before entering South Carolina. ) about a 2 hour drive. The reason for the drive is not only for the best prices around, but also for the knowledge, experience, welcoming way my wife and I interacted with Michael. A year goes buy and a check engine light pops up on my Eco Sport and I reach out to Michael. He immediately scheduled a tow truck to pick up and deliver it to JC Lewis Ford in Savannah Ga It was the closest Ford dealership to my house. JC Lewis informs me that my fuel pump is bad. This is where the nightmare with JC Lewis begins. After telling me that it will be only a day or 2, im finally contacted a week later saying my engine was ruined. The Eco Sport only had 20k miles. JC Lewis says they need to see what can be done after hinting that I would be responsible for to cost. Even while having a full bumper to bumper warranty. I ask for a rental and am told they don't have any. 2 weeks go by with no progress no retal no loaner. I relay all this to Michael and I'm immediately contacted by a car rental company saying Michael has lined up a rental for me. He says he will see what he can do. Even though my car wasn't even at his dealership, Michael works with me to open a case with Ford Corporate. Long story short, Corporate finds all fault with JC Lewis and gets the warranty work done while having to give a daily update to me and my rep from Corporate. After a moth, I finally get the car back but after the whole ordeal with JC Lewis my wife no longer trust the Eco Sport. Back to Michael I reach out to. He works with us for hours over the next few days answering all of our questions, digging through inventory all around trying to find cars that my wife would like, and even works dozens of different quotes for many many cars. We finally find one that is perfect and Michael remembers that my wife is in the military from our previous deal and does 99% of the work before we even get there hours later. When we arrive in Kingsland we see my wife's brand new 2022 Ford Edge cleaned, polished, and parked under the awning with my wife's name printed on a banner that says VIP and placed on the windshield. My wife was so excited seeing her new car shinning beautifully with her name on it. Then to her surprise most all paperwork was done by Michael and we only needed a few signatures. After about an hour, she is on her way extremely happy in her new car with a full tank of gas. Im sitting at Murray Ford today for a service on my Edge ST and wanted anyone who reads this that no matter how much gas is, I will gladly drive the 2 hours here and 2 hours home to have our vehicles looked after by Murray Ford. Why? I've lost ALLLLLL trust and respect for JC Lewis. I will come here because here I am treated like family, I trust that my vehicles will be taken care of and my time and money is respected. I feel welcomed here at Murray. These people actually care about everyone who walks through their doors. If you want to be treated like a person with your own life story and respected instead of being seen as a cash grab then I can not recommend enough that you take the time to give these reps to earn your business. Ill only shop from here from now on. I urge you to ask for Michael Garcia. Teel him that you read this review. This guy deserves all the respect for all he has done for me and my family. This review is the very least I can do to try to say thanks for all of his help and time. Thank you Michael.

2024 Mazda Mazda3 review
Previously we have owned a 2016 Mazda Hatchback with the 2.0 liter engine and manual transmission. Our biggest complaint with that car was the lack of power. We were not expecting a performance car, but the 2 liter engine in that car was just anemic. My wife didn't feel safe trying to pull out into traffic. We recently purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 Premium with 2.5 liter engine and manual transmission. While still not feeling like a sports car (it is not one) it does have considerably more torque than the 2016 we owned previously. Things we like about the 2024 model: - the bump in power - fuel economy - the interior. the seats are somewhat firm, but comfy. The dash is nicely layed out - the buttons on the console are useful - heater/AC controls are buttons and knobs - easy to use - the heater fan! We have had several Mazdas, and the fan has always been underpowered. the fan in this car is adequate - two driver settings that will put the seat in the correct position, as well as let you set the brightness of the heads up display - seat heaters Things we don't like: - auto sensing wipers. the only way to use the intermittent wipers is with the 'auto' setting, and it operates properly only intermittently at best - the door for the gas filler. it is not difficult, but if you don't know how to do it, you may need to google (what I had to do at the gas station) - Fully electric parking brake - I would prefer a manually operated brake. - The pedal area is somewhat narrow. I have somewhat wide feet, so I have to keep that in mind, as some shoes make driving cumbersome. The reliability question was required, which is a rather lame requirement when one has owned a car for a month. I gave it 3 stars as I have no idea yet as to the reliability.

2024 Mazda Mazda3 review
This car feels very neutral and smooth in corners at any speed. Sometimes, it feels like it's too easy to go too fast in this because the grip is so confidence-inspiring. I have the non-turbocharged model, which has plenty of giddy up to it. I'm not sure if I regret choosing it over a turbocharged variant but there's plenty of power for my needs. The gearing is pretty tall and you need to plant your foot to let it rev out and find the right gear, but doing so is rewarded with a very responsive and surprisingly smooth engine for being a 4 cylinder. I was feathery on the gas at first, so it was underwhelming but I adjusted to the inputs. The car feels plenty sporty and the grip makes cornering feel amazing. The rear suspension is torsion beam and you will notice it on very poor roads, but everyday driving on decent roads feels super refined, quiet and grip is not affected by this suspension arrangement. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm 6'3" and fit pretty comfortably in the car even with the sunroof right above me. I've been in cars with more front legroom and have been less comfortable than I am in this car. Seat bolstering could be an issue for those with wider shoulders. I'm someone who loves a low driving position, so this car is a godsend in a world of soulless, blobby SUVs. I think this is the best all-around compact car you can get.

Either you take it or you don't. No pressure, no games. Just very nice people who were very helpful. This will be the first place I look when looking for another car. I love that you can shop online, put a hold on the car and go and look at it when it is convient for you. None of this, "I can't promise it will still be here tomorrow." games. They will hold it up to 7 days. I only asked for 2 days. It gave me enough time to look around and decide that I really did want the car at Carmax. Love my car, loved the experience. Try them first if you don't like the car buying game.
