2023 Mazda CX-9 review
Despite this being the final year offered (the CX-90 will replace it soon) the CX-9 is still a looker. The 6 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the 2.5L turbo has plenty of power to move this 4200 pound AWD, SUV. Seats are very comfortable in both first and middle and I keep the third row folded down leaving a good sized cargo area for hauling groceries, 50lb bags of birdseed, softener salt and anything else I need to carry. And I absolutely love the way this thing handles! It feels far more like a nimble car than a 3 row SUV. The 12 speaker Bose sound system is clear and powerful. The cabin is very quiet at all speeds. The ride is firm but solid and comfortable. Not a squeak or rattle. I have the Carbon Edition and I feel it looks as fresh as any new three row mid-sized SUV out there. I traded my 2019 Ram Limited (an incredibly luxurious truck for the Mazda and I was concerned about adapting to a smaller vehicle but the CX-9 is everything I could have hoped for. I would recommend anyone who enjoys driving and has to occasionally carry some bulky stuff to consider one of these before they're gone.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
My tenth Mazda since 2010. Good looking vehicle, interior is well done. My only issue is road noise from the tires. It is a Turbo Premium Plus but louder than my 2019 CX9 GT. Not much wind noise or any other noise but just the tires.

2026 Mazda CX-90 review
After owning several luxury SUV”s , the Mazda CX 90 with the inline 6 engine, is amazing and just as luxurious! The cabin is quiet the ride is smooth and have taken several road trips without any problems. We have been very impressed with the gas mileage on this AWD as well. The third row is ideal for anyone under 5.11, and it’s very convenient to have rear AC that can be controlled by rear passengers.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
I really do love my CX-90 PHEV but, as anyone will tell you as an early owner of a brand new model of anything, there are kinks to work out. I can get most of my driving done on battery without having to transition to the gas engine which is awesome. The amount of time it takes to charge is not awesome. I would schedule all of my charging to happen late at night when power is cheapest but the charger it comes with takes 11 hours to fully charge. I bought a level 2 charger which takes closer to 8 hours. An improvement but not what I was hoping for. The infotainment system randomly but consistently disconnects from my phone without explanation or warning. It reconnects quickly but it is very annoying. Finally, the engine will sometimes have hiccups when I'm driving on either engine. I will feel a weird surge of power which worries me a bit. Other than not being able to get the color I wanted (I was told "soul red" isn't popular on larger, "mom" cars) I am very happy with the car. It is stylish, fits my whole family very comfortably, and it was a wonderful upgrade from my 2020 CX-5 (which I also LOVED). I can't wait to see what the future holds with PHEV vehicles. What a wonderful bridge between gas and electric - makes it feel totally reliable!

2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Have the 2025 CX-50 in white premium addition. Often think whether I should have bought the turbo as I wish I had some more power, but I didn’t want to give our insurance a reason to hike rates. It gets the job done and in style. Interior is nicely finished but I’ve experienced many little rattles from instrument cluster, A pillar, mounted Bose speakers, etc. lots of felt tape was needed to mitigate. Technology is the major con here. Constantly have to reconnect Bluetooth so I just plug it in now all the time. Wireless phone charger never works - it overheats seemingly after two minutes and stops working. At times the tailgate buttons seem to get confused and don’t know what you’re asking it to do. And the way the doors all lock / unlock together can be frustrating and I’ve learned that it depends on how many times you hit the disarm / unlock button on the key fob. Finally, memory seats never worked since buying it new, and I’m too lazy to bring it in all day for that. I like the car but I’m not sure I’ll get into another one after my time is up with it.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. The only reason I give Carrollton Hyundai 5 stars is because there is no way to give them a 10. We already owned a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that we loved. As happens, we developed some difficulty with the key fob. We went to Carrollton Hyundai because it is much closer than the dealership, we had previously delt with. As soon as we entered the facility, we were greeted by John (sales manager) who asked if he could help us. He fixed the problem in nothing flat. There was no judgement nor laughing at a couple of old folks who didn't understand new technology. Just a friendly smile from a man who had to reposition the battery which had been inserted upside down. John didn't just walk away; he walked us to our car and thanked us for coming in. There was no high-pressure sales pitch, just a friendly reassurance that if we had any more difficulties feel free to come in to see him. Because of the friendliness, we decided to return a month later to consider purchasing a new vehicle. We met Devin before we could even enter the building. He didn't "Jump" on us like most salespeople, just a friendly greeting and an offer to be of assistance if needed. We had done our homework and explained to Devin what we were looking for and what we were willing to pay. He didn't try to push us into anything other than what we wanted. He did, however, explain that he had two options that might fit our needs. In fact, he even offered us a financing option that would allow us to purchase the vehicle we wanted for even less than we had anticipated. While we finished the necessary paperwork, Devin had the vehicle completely detailed inside and out. He even had the gas tank filled. A lot of dealers give you just about enough gas to get off the lot. Devin explained that we had 5 days to return if we decided we didn't like the color. We returned to tell him the color (red) was just fine, but we needed a little help with some of the technology. He answered all our questions and made sure we understood his explanations. Then Devin took us down the street and around the corner where he filled the gas tank again. In my opinion, you can't beat the professional at Carrollton Hyundai.
2025 Mazda CX-50 review
The additional 6” in width makes the CX-50 do much more spacious than my two previously owned CX-5s. Cornering is much more stable. The turbo 4cylinder engine has the get up and go necessary for highway merges or passing left lane, driving to grandma’s house on Sunday Afternoon hogs! After owning my vehicle for just two weeks, there are only three negatives to date: 1. Poor explanations/directions in owner’s manual. 2. Poor gas mileage both HWY/City 3. No Manual Transmission option.

2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
My spouse asked me to get a new vehicle in mid-November 2024. I had been reading reviews of the new 2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid. We had been sharing a 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L that we bought new in December of 2017. I had been planning on getting a replacement vehicle in December of 2025 but my spouse recommended that we get one before the end of 2024 because of the upcoming tariffs. I had been in a quandary about which vehicle to get. As soon as I heard about Mazda getting the Toyota hybrid system in the CX-50 I became interested. I went to drive a CX-50 and found that the dealerships didn't yet have the hybrid model. I drove a turbo version and was surprised that it wasn't that responsive. I also found that the ride was too harsh. Within a week I went back and test drove a hybrid. I found the performance to be good and the ride quality to be much better than the turbo. I was impressed with the amount of equipment included in the Premium Plus version: panoramic moon roof, red real leather seats, heads up display, Bose stereo, power folding mirrors. We purchased one for thousands less than a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V Hybrid. I'm very impressed with the handling and ride. So far we've had no problems at all and we currently have an indicated 41mpg.

as most midsize SUV's it is not comfortable for long trips. it is somewhat tight inside. Good gas milage. There are tons of electronics. we are older, not real tech savy. we had to go back for a second training session, since the first person did not do a very good job.

2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
I would recommend this car for a single individual, maybe as a commuter or a teenage driver. I wouldn’t recommend for growing families. Four adults will not fit comfortably, it’s just too small. I wish I would have got the CX-70 but they’re just too expensive.

2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV review
Overall nice SUV.Range is only 26 miles on E-mode,offraod the door wells get dirty so opening the doors to enter of exit is a challenge to not get dirty.Tires wore out at 15k and they are are EXSPENSIVE to replace.

2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid review
Awesome gas mileage! Can get 41mpg easily. I chose this over a rav4. I just didn't want to have the same SUV as every other one on the Rd. I love the looks of this vehicle. Interior is way nicer than any rav4 you can buy. I will say that one negative was that I had to replace the front brakes at 10k miles. And it is not my driving! I owned a Honda Accord hybrid previously and the brakes had over 100k on them when I traded it in. I drive this the same way I drove that car and on the same commute. I did hear there was a tsb for the brakes. Rather than make an appt, destroy my rotors waiting to get in, and listen to that awful squealing for another 2 weeks. I just changed the brakes myself. The parts were very inexpensive. The only other annoying thing was that I couldn't get heated steering wheel the top of the line model hybrid... seriously mazda?

So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

2026 Mazda CX-90 review
Not a BMW, Lexus or Mercedes, but it comes reasonably close for the $20-30K savings. Upscale interior, tight handling, fairly quiet ride. I purchased the second from the bottom of the line: Turbo Preferred with the standard 280 hp inline 6 engine. Easily enough power. Negotiated the $45.5 sticker down to $40.5, still expensive but way lower than even the Honda Pilot. Only complaint: 3rd Seat is ONLY FOR KIDS.

I’ve owned 2 RX7’s,1 RX8 (disappointing), a Prelude, 3 6’s and a 3. Switched toHonda’s 5 yrs ago. I want a 6 Grand Touring Reserve orSignature-possibly a Carbon but not a fan of the muted grey. I am a huge Mazda fan and can’t wait to have em back in my garage.
