2016 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class review
The GL450 is a roomy vehicle with a usable 3rd row that quickly folds away flush into the floor for spacious cargo room. The car is stable on smooth roads and comfortable, potholes, man-hole covers and other obstacles in the road can cause the suspension to jump around a little more than expected...the rear will jump over a few inches one way or another, but overall it drives well. Acceleration isn't what it used to be with the larger twin turbo V-8, but it's still very respectable. The biggest advantage and worth the trade-off is the much improved fuel economy. Front seating is sufficient, not spectacular though...I've take a few 700 plus mile trips and I'm happy with the comfort level, just wish the front seat bases could tilt a little higher in the front. Gauges and instruments and radio are easy to use and fall within reach...the temperature controls could be a little more modern for a 2016 instead of the rotary dial...but they work. NOT a fan of the transmission shifting on the column...it frees up the center console, but it's easy to confuse early on with blinkers, wipers, etc. The seats are heated but at this price, they should also be ventilated/cooled. I haven't had it long enough for reliability, but from what I've read it's decent. Towing capacity is 7500#...I have not tried that yet, but would think that's a little more than an SUV this size should be towing...my intentions will be much smaller adventure trailers and possibly a boat, but no large car haulers even though they may fall within or under 7500#. I'm looking forward to this car as it's my first Mercedes, a departure from our Audi and BMW stable of cars we own and have owned in the past.

2009 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class review
I am putting 4 grand into my GL450 to replace brakes and power steering. Car has been awesome once you get a good mechanic. Btw its used so I'm not making payments. $400/month maintenance. Not bad. It goes well but they all need airshocks redone.

11.8 liters on 100km on highway. No chances to modify to reduce fuel consumption. My Audi A8 Long is more comfortable, smooth driving, cluster panel easier to understand. More luxury. The GL has no spaces behind front seats. No luxury in the back.

I purchased a 2015 Mercedes-Benz SLK 250 convertible. From my first inquiry, communication with Zee was exceptional. Typically he responded within the hour to my questions. Additionally, he took several videos of the vehicle and pointed out all defects, so I knew ahead of time. The vehicle was spotless when I picked it up. I did have the car further inspected when I got home and we found there was one bad motor mount which was causing some engine vibration. We weren’t expecting to buy the brand new 2025 Kona, but it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Not only a great vehicle, but the peace of mind that comes with the warranty, maintenance services, and follow up weeks after purchasing, that made us feel cared for. Months later, I have a new job that requires me in office 5 days a week after working from home for 5 years. After test driving terrible used cars elsewhere, I bring my wife back to see their used cars, feeling as though theirs will be in great condition for a great price. Jim in sales (with Mike’s partnership), again, heard my story and my needs. Showed me some used cars, but made a better deal for a brand new Elantra Sport trim for about the same monthly cost as a used car. Again, fought to give us every deal and break they could to make the numbers work for our life. Went in looking at a 16 Cruze & 18 Malibu, they sold me a brand new 2025 Elantra and couldn’t have felt better about the decision Jim, Alfonso, Mike…Thank you for everything. You made a harrowing ordeal feel so much easier than I could imagine.

2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class review
We have owned our 2015 for two years now - got her used from a family member with about 55k miles. The car is comfortable, fast, huge, and gets great mileage for its size and weight - about 21mpg with a mix of city of highway miles and I'm shocked by that. This is the year they put the 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 in the GL450 - not sure what other years they did, but I highly recommend this engine. V6's are often marketed as having V8 power when they really don't, but this one absolutely has V8 power. It even sounds like a V8. You can certainly feel the car's heft on turns in country roads, but it weighs basically 3 tons fully loaded. It feels very safe and is super quiet inside - build quality is superb. It feels like a fast, luxury tank. I love it and I'm going to drive it as long as I possibly can.
