He personally followed up the same day I voiced my concerns, sent a mobile tech to my house to handle the software update, and later arranged for a porter to deliver a loaner and pick up my truck for a roof recall and additional service. They performed every repair as promised—on time—including the roof fix, oil change, tire rotation, and a minor interior issue. Brian kept great communication throughout, even with our busy schedules, and treated my time and situation with real respect. CarMax Southwest Freeway review
I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.

2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class review
I purchased a Glk350 new in 2011, picking it up in Germany on overseas delivery. I have purchased at least 30 new cars, domestic and foreign, during my 75 years and THIS has been by far the best. I believe MB bult the original with a very specific aim for a premium product, unlike some of the other small vehicles they produce. I still own the car and am reluctant to buy another vehicle because this one has been bulletproof. No squeaks or rattles. 100% reliable for the 85,000 miles driven, with only regular maintenance (and I have performed most of it including oil and filter changes and even spark plugs and igniters). Performed all regular maintenace as scheduled. Comfortable, reasonably quiet, very stable, handles well and fast for a small SUV. Opted for the HK sound system and it is VERY good. Beautiful audiophile sound, no bass ramp up or distortion. Paint is still immaculate even with Florida sun. Interior has held up well with the exception of a tear on the driver's seat for which an OE replacement cover is readily available online. Only possible criticisms: Back seat legroom is not great for large adults, otherwise adequate and comfortable; uses premium fuel and gets about 23 mpg ave for me, but I drive less than 10,000 miles a year, so no issue; and transmission fluid change which was changed on the original schedule to 40,000 miles was somewhat expensive, but I did get a $200 coupon which offset half of it. For a small SUV it handles great and seems built like a tank. Truly like a more modern but small G wagon.

2024 BMW X4 review
This car is our first BMW. It may sacrifice some space, but that’s not a very big deal for us. This car is perfect for those who don’t need space, but need the capabilities of an SUV. We have the M40i version and it packs a punch. The 382 Hp B58 I6 is very quick in sport mode, and has very nice exhaust sounds. I love that it has rear AC, which is an upgrade from our previous car. This car also has ambient lighting which you can change the color of. The wireless Apple CarPlay is also very convenient. Although, it does not have the latest version of iDrive, it’s still decent and still includes a 12 in screen. If you don’t want to touch the screen and leave fingerprints, the X4 comes with a controller that you can use to control the screen. This car also has a good amount of physical buttons. Front seats have thigh extensions for those with long legs, and both seats automatically adjust. Overall, our family really likes this car and recommends it for buyers who want a unique take on BMW

THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. NO PROBLEM ON THE HIGHWAY OR THE TAKE OFF FROM A STREET LIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO GOOD.. CVT.. NEVER CRAZY ABOUT CVT ... BUT THIS TRANSMISSION IS OK.. CAR HANDLES IN SNOW.. RAIN,, RUNS WELL.. I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.

2023 Hyundai PALISADE review

2018 Ford Fusion Energi review
Have owned three Fusion's over the years. One gas Fusion Titanium and two Fusion Energi plug in hybrids. All were GREAT vehicles! Comfortable, drove and rode well, only routine maintenance/service required and very good in the snow. Ford discontinuing this car was a HUGE mistake! Wake up Dearborn Michigan!

2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid review
We drove our 2019 SEL from CA to OH and back in July 2021. It was a perfect ride. Our cat even got to like it. The Ionic performed better than any advertisement we saw. The sticker indicates mpg @ 57. At best we got 57.6! We didn’t get 57 the whole trip, but our 5100 mile averaged was 54. I stopped leasing after 3 cars to buy this one. Best car I’ve bought in 40 years.

2025 GMC Sierra 2500 review
So far so good! This truck is the nicest truck I have ever driven. The stance, ride comfort and options are top notch. I went from a 2023 High Country that was having drive train issues but had all the creature comforts that you would expect in a top of the line truck. With the lack of confidence in that particular models 10 speed transmission issues, it became necessary to reestablish my confidence in my General Motors product.

I bought a year old BMW. The price was better than I found at other dealerships. They were prepared to go as slow as I wanted and answer all my questions, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted fast! So after a quick test drive went in and signed the paperwork, while they washed it for me. They let me leave my old car there and drive my new car home. There was a headlight malfunction and they said it was completely covered under warranty. However, because it was a software issue, Carmax said I needed to take it to BMW, but that Carmax would cover any costs. They were true to their word!

I saw a 2014 Silverado LTZ that had all the features I had been looking for. I set my mind to drive up and look at the truck (I opted not to transfer as I had family in the area I intended to visit). The hold process is GREAT. It's a quick click and I knew the vehicle was going to be there after I drove the 3 hours to look at it. I worked with Chris Biggs and he was great. We talked options on the truck and for financing (they beat my credit union's offer). He was incredibly friendly to be around and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him as we waited on our financing offers. He was thorough in making sure we had all the facts and options. If I had anyone in the area looking to buy, I would send them to Chris in a heartbeat. Then I know they'd have a good experience and be completely taken care of.
2017 Lincoln Continental review
Inherited a loaded 2017 Lincon Reserve from my uncle. 20 Inch rims, 3.0 bi-turbo, upgraded Revel sound system...the works. I own an Audi A8L which IMO sets the bar for interior design and ergonomics and this is the only area where the Lincoln trails the Audi. The options, ride and feeling of driving a luxury vehicle is comparable to the Audi as well. I some areas even superior. The Lincoln has been trouble-free for a year whereas the Audi, being overengineered, is prone to reliability issues. I love the outside doorhandles to the Lincoln and its profile but I'm still trying to love the rear end design. To me this is the shortcoming from a design perspective. Other than this, a great car!
