2020 Subaru Legacy review
Trim: Premium I waited for a major software update prior to posting this review. The update was huge for ease of use and for iPhone CarPlay integration. With the update, I find this to be a very comfortable vehicle, with fuel efficiency (31.8 miles to the gallon average with 6,000 miles), a superbly laid out interior, many storage places, and great technology with the 11.6” touch screen as the hub for everything in the car. The CVT in the car definitely inhibits the thrill of driving, but by turning off the “auto stop” feature each trip, the lack of get-up-and-go is not very noticeable. Great size trunk and the all-wheel drive has held up well on wet roads and handles well (have not tested it in snow yet).

2025 Subaru Legacy review
Bought the Legacy Touring XT model. Previously owned Lexus and Infinitis, and this is a good or better than those cars. Smooth handling and responsive engine/ride. Dashboard is easier to use than expected. Nice connection to Airplay. Speakers are great. Safety systems are very good. Leather is luxurious. I would never have selected this car if I didn't already own a Forrester, which is also well built. I feel like I bought a luxury car for a 15K discount if not more

Was able to pick up a good condition used 4Runner with very little hassle with the help of Grady up front and Jayda in the finance department. Even with a fairly cruddy previous car trade in the whole process only took a few hours and was for a price that couldn't be beat elsewhere. Financing from Toyota came in under the two credit unions rates I was approved for! The two employees who helped me are not listed below, but Grady and Jayda deserve some recognition.
2025 Subaru Legacy review
I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

2022 Subaru Legacy review
from the first day I had it I haven’t had any issues with it as it handles great and gas economy is awesome. I don’t have a negative to write. I drove Lincoln’s for the last 20 or more years and because they stopped making cars and only Crossovers or SVU’s, I searched high and low to find an equivalent car and googled all the options that were a must and the Subaru Legacy Elite came up and my husband and I went to look and drove out with our new car and couldn’t be happier. The ride is comfortable and the car is just great.

Was looking to buy a new 4Runner TRD Off-Road but none of the dealers in the area had what we were looking for. Not wanting to put in a build order and potentially wait another 4-6 months, we did an extended radius search online and found the exact one we wanted at Sheehy Toyota of Timonium – and for a great (almost too good to be true) price! I used the online form to request availability and got put in contact with Matt Ellis. Having never purchased a car out of state before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after a few emails and phone calls to iron out the details, Matt thoroughly explained the whole process and answered all of my questions – everything wound up being as smooth as could be. No surprises. No ‘gotchas’. No pressure. All the way through to the end including working with the Finance manager, Donna Hale – she was very informative, presented all of my options, didn’t try to pressure me on anything I declined, and was even able to beat the APR I was pre-approved for by a few fractions of a point. The whole experience was easily worth the time it took to travel there and back!
2021 Subaru Legacy review
The 2021 Legacy is improved comfort riding, leg room, the dashboard is digitalized at greater extend. the Charcoal gray color is awesome, looks very elegant. I like the new wheel design and interior changes that add a luxury look that my 2019 did not have.

So I ended up buying the Accord (very low mileage) at a great price. The best part was how easy Mark made the experience. My wife is on the loan but she didn't even have to be there. I drove the car off the lot about 2 hours after I arrived. They let me keep my old Honda in the lot until we were able to return that afternoon to pick it up. 2025 Subaru Legacy review
Replaced my 10 yr old Legacy as 2025 is the last model year. I loved my 2015 Legacy. Very reliable and no issues at all at 122k. Hoping for the same. The 2025 has some nice improvements. So far, so good!

2020 Subaru Legacy review
Bought brand new off the lot in January 2020 and I've put just under 20K miles into it so far. Here's what I've seen so far: Good: - AWD keeps you on the road in even the most slushy and icy conditions. Driven this car through a few snow storms and never had to worry about losing control. - The driving assist safety features work very well, definitely has saved me from a couple minor incidents. Also the adaptive cruise control has revolutionized long roadtrips and I'll absolutely never be able to go back - Interior looks fresh and clean, seats are very comfortable. I'm always surprised how much trunk space this car has, plus the folding back seat make transporting some bulkier items easy. Bad: - I absolutely despise the entertainment system. The huge touch screen is cool but it is sluggish and unreliable. Often the inputs will lag several seconds or not register at all, which sucks when you're trying to turn on the AC on a hot day or the heat in the winter. The worst part is that sometimes when you start the car up, the user interface software won't start correctly and will crash, disabling all of the vehicle's safety features. Usually this fixes itself with an automatic reboot but that often takes a couple minutes. Once or twice I've had to pull of the road, turn off the car and turn it on again to manually cycle power to the console interface. - There's absolutely no reason to buy the sport mode when the CVT is so sluggish. Paddle shifters seem like they're almost disconnected as the difference between the "gears" is so minimal. - No way to disable the auto start/stop system, have to hit the touchscreen button every time. Overall: - I'd still recommend this car since the good definitely outweighs the bad. It's a car that does a lot of things decently but nothing exceedingly well. If you want a sports sedan, get the WRX. If you want a car that can handle rough driving conditions, get the Outback. If you want something more akin to a luxury sedan, go up a trim level to the Limited XT CVT. 2018 Subaru Legacy review
Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

2020 Subaru Legacy review
The Ride is far better than the 2018 Legacy, the Turbo 4cyl with 260 HP makes a big difference when merging from an on ramp to major highway. The safety equipment is amazing. Subaru somehow built in shift points to the CVT. That along with the paddle shifters help the car perform more like a standard shift. The interior is much like a luxury vehicle. Fantastic comfy Nappa leather seating is first rate.

2009 Subaru Legacy review
Purchased it in 2020. As been an absolute warrior. Handles snow and all rough terrain superbly. Only complaints is the radio is not easily modifiable(aux to lightning cable fixes this), the woodgrain trim is ugly looking (easy swap/ vinyl wrap). Really good car overall good for teens and older folk. (If you want more speed get better tires and 17 inch tires)
