2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Typical reliable Toyota vehicle. The only problem I encounter is the braking system. of my last 4 suv's, 2 of them being 4runners, I have always got 100,000 miles out of my front pads. I'm on my second set on my 2018 with only 50,000 miles. I think the calibers on the newer models are defective actually. They just don't feel right.

We went to the dealership to look at a used Gennisis sedan with only 25000 miles on it. After looking at the car we decided against it and began looking at the new flagship from Toyota. We purchased a 24 Crown, what a car. We had it for about 15 months now. No problems with it. The people we worked with were all very nice and pleasant. We've had the car serviced 1 time after about a year. The service people are nice as well. The one thing we are dissatisfied with is the navigation system. It shut off after a year and you have to purchase a subscription at a minimum of 15$ a month. We planned for this to be our last car purchase as we are seniors. So over the years it's going to cost us a few thousand dollars if we want navigation in our almost 60,000$ car. Boo Toyota, the top of the line should have a permanent navigation system. In comparison we have an 2017 Accura MDX that has a navigation system that doesn't require a on going subscription. I'm not sure if other Toyota models navigation system shuts down after a year but if they do the sales people should provide that info up front.

My daughter bought a 2019 4runner .I was cleaning and detailing it for her and started to look it over i was impressed with the options and quality. 4 days later I had a 2020 off road premium in my driveway. 2021 Toyota 4Runner review
One of the last SUV’s with a real 4x4 and towing capacity. The engine and transmission lasts longer than anything similar. Not the greatest mpg but this is greatly off set by reliability and longevity.

I routinely use Imperial Toyota in Milford, MA. They are my "go to" dealer. My Sienna is 12 years old with over 250,000 miles and thanks to the service department, it has never broken down. They are on top of the necessary maintenance and repairs to keep my vehicle issue free. That is priceless to me. I also love that every time I come to the dealer, the same service advisors are there. Many dealers have new service advisors every couple years. Though Jarett is my favorite advisor, I believe they are all good at their jobs and helpful. I find Jarett to be the most helpful though. He helps me prioritize the essential repairs/services if I cannot afford to do all at once. Imperial Toyota has a nice, large waiting area with comfortable chairs and complimentary coffee and tea. They have a separate room for children to play. If major work needs to be done on the car, you can rent a car for the day for a reasonable price.

2025 Toyota 4Runner review
I purchased a 2025 4Runner TRD Pro and only in a few hundred miles I love it. I had a few 5th generation 4Runners and they were great. But this is a whole new level with the 6th generation. Great ride, comfort, technology, and capabilities is unmatched by the previous generations. The only thing I don't was the price tag. But personally, I would do it again.

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my beloved 2003 4Runner with 230k miles that was pretty much bullet-proof and running smooth as ever. I am blown away by the refinements and improvements that have been made over the past 18 years. I bought this used 2018 4 Runner SR5 Premium that was a lease and well-maintained. The ride is exceptionally smooth and almost calming due to the comfortability of the interior design. I already know from experience what to expect regarding reliability, so hopefully I can get another 10+ years out of my new favorite vehicle!

Et il n’a pas eu la vie facile, mon boulot exige de faire beaucoup de offroad. Il a 250,000 milles au compteur. 2 amortisseurs, un bout de silencieux(laissé dans une trail) 1 cardan,c’est tout. Le reste est de l’entretien normal. Je suis pas sur de vivre assez longtemps pour le voir mort. Quand on met dans la balance le cout d’acquisition, les réparations, l’entretien, l’essence, il est le plus économiques des véhicules que j’ai possédé. Oui, l’intérieur est un peu défraîchi, j’ai un boulot salop. Mais, il se comporte comme il y a 12 ans. Je n’ai aucune inquiétude à faire encore du hors piste, il est encore super fiable. Toyota offre ici un produit que je qualifie de hors norme, c’est un char d’assaut. Indestructible.

2025 Toyota 4Runner review
I have a blue Trd sport premium, 2025. So far I love this truck! It has hard plastic throughout the interior, which makes it easy to clean. Love the 14 inch screen, and the 360 cameras. Wheels on the Trd sport are some of the best looking wheels out there. If you want a few options, but aren't going off road, trd sport premium is a great option.

2005 Toyota 4Runner review
2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8… Purchased as new from dealer in Ohio in 2005. Currently has 200,000 miles on odometer. Enjoyed every mile! Due to Ohio winters and salty roads - the suspension has been replaced, section of frame replaced, wheels pitted. Will be due for another timing belt change (expensive due to complexity). Excellently maintained by a local Toyota mechanic. It is my hope that this vehicle will last another 200,000 miles. The only negative is the 18mpg around town.

2017 Toyota 4Runner review
I love everything about my 2017 TRD PRO Cement Gray 4Runner "except" the ENTUNE system. The Quick Text message system only works 1 out of 20 times. Not very useful when hands free safety is concerned. Dealer R&Red the Entune system, however replacement Entune has same problem. Not happy as this adds to the danger of handling a phone instead of using the Entune Quick Text while driving. The Entune system Quick Text didn't work with either of my new Samsung or Moto Android phones even after I changed phone carriers. Also the right side touch screen buttons on the original Entune system failed as well. Very disappointed Toyota. This was my second 4runner purchase. Other than the Entune system, a perfect vehicle IMO.

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Two reviews below clearly doesn’t understand how having a FRAME instead of a unibody means. Take your Ford Exploder, Honda pile, Jeep Grandcrappy and flush them where they belong. The 4runner has Solid rear axle, IFS with upper and lower control arms, and a real transfer case with low range. If you are looking to stay on the pavement and pay out the wazzoo for suspension repairs if you do hit the dirt. Then go ahead and buy those “cheaper” SUV’s. If you want a true and classic SUV the way they were first built, then the 4Runner is for you. Good factory ground clearance, yet can cruise to ANY destination. Yeah that’s why we defend these. That’s why they hold there value. That’s why there nothing else on the market that can compete. I hit dirt roads every day and sometimes I can’t tell if I’m on pavement or dirt. Super smooth suspension and dependability you won’t find in any other vehicle in its class. I’ll give a wave as I pass you on the beach while your buried in the sand. You will regret buying any other so called truck.

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
It’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at this time, but I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. Sure, it’s not designed to be fast, ultra-comfortable, fuel efficient, but it excels in handling rough ranch roads and rough Dallas city potholes, nice narrow body for tight parking. It’s great as a highway cruiser, and the secret of the 4Runner is if you go 30-40mph over a fairly level road (AC off) you’ll hit 60mpg! Quite happy with it, a real urban assault vehicle, wish they came with a better selection of exterior colours though 👍

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
Great looking, fun to drive 4x4, super reliable, leather interior but strong enough for 2 dogs and 2 kids. Goes anywhere. Roof rack easy to use. HAs all the electronic helper (BSM, cross traffic alert, lane keeping, adaptive cruise). The downside is the gas milage. 16.5 to 18 mpg depending on time of year & type of gas (summer vs winter gas). No service issues in 45,000 miles but they did some fuel pump recall when I was in for an oil change

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Love my 4Runner but the only thing wrong with it is the KDSS problems that no one knows how to fix. Light comes on in the winter and starts leaking. Dealer replaced it once and they paid the $4, 000.00 because it was the first time that they had seen this. Now it almost winter and the lights coming back on.

Had a problem with the service department on Saturday when price at payment time was more then discussed. Left dealer pissed off and called when I got home with a cooler head. Nothing was accomplished so I wrote a review that was seen by upper management. Saturday afternoon a gentleman named Mark called to discuss the issue with me. After talking in order to keep me happy and being a returning customer he first had offered his apology for the misunderstanding then refunded the entire service charge price to me. This showed me they're a stand-up dealership. The icing on the cake was the owner Dave called me on Sunday to apologize and assure me he was behind the total refund. This is our fourth 4Runner since 1996. 4Runners are a supper reliable SUV. Each of our 4Runners had over 250,000 miles with no issues. I would recommend a Toyota 4Runner as primary vehicle. They are stylish, reliable, economical to own and operate.

Our oldest son totaled the 95 in 2003 in his senior year of high school, head on collision, and walked away without a scratch. We replaced it with a 2001. I rolled that one 2x in my 1st accident in Oct 2011. I got hit by wildlife and knocked off the other side of the road. I was doing good keeping it steady, but it wasn't slowing down, and I knew not to hit the brakes on the wet grass--I forgot my cruise control was on. So I rolled it 2x and hung upside down in the middle of a swamp until the police found me, but not a scratch on me. We replaced that one with a 1999, and I'm still driving it. It looks like xxxx cosmetically and the leather seats have been destroyed by the 7 rescue dogs that have been part of our family since 2012, but it has only stopped running once. I've had what I would call 2 major repairs on 3 4Runners. The brake booster and master cylinder last year on this 99, and some type of sensor down below the belt that caused a major oil leak and then it wouldn't start this past spring. The part was only $25, but I paid my mechanic neighbor $200 to do the repair instead of $800 for labor elsewhere. And it was already 23 years old and had 225,000 & 230,000 miles on it before those 2 things happened. And just FYI from an old lady, NEVER take a vehicle to a dealership to be repaired! I'm probably a bit older than you so I learned that lesson decades ago. Find a good independent mechanic and treat them like you do your Mama because they are an important person in this life. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with yours, but I have loved every single one of mine, and the thought of driving something else literally hurts my feelings.
