I was thoroughly impressed with this Emmons Autoplex. I had been to about 8 dealerships in the Houston area looking for a very specific car for my daughter (FJ Cruiser). They just happened to have it, and to my surprise it was the best looking one out of all those I had looked at and it was among the best priced ones I found. I was extremely happy about that. On top of that, the team there made it extremely easy and effortless to get the deal done. Everyone was welcoming and polite and attentive to the needs. Honestly one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. And I’ve done this about 20+ times in my life whether for business or personal. My salesman Steven Verizzi was the best. We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

Great experience , Blake helped me from beginning to end always responding and being honest. The finance manager was transparent and quick and got me the car I wanted.

I don’t know why my car is rusted under the car what can I do it only used for family trips I love this Highlander it’s only have 50000 mile I enjoy this beautiful car

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

We have owned our Highlander since about 42K miles, it now has 136k. The car has been wonderfully reliable and the batteries (now 16 years old) seem to still be working quite well. We get about 25mpg, maybe one or two less than when we first got it. While maybe not sexy, the first-gen Highlander Hybrid is a super well-engineered car. Our years in this tight, quiet, comfortable, spacious vehicle have been great. Biggest problem is we can't find a modern car we like enough to replace it!

We purchased a Hyundai Tucson and Blake was wonderful! There was absolutely no pressure and it was the best car buying experience. Donny in financing was excellent as well. We will definitely purchase from Emmons again!

Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

I want to give this review because my salesperson Alvester was the best. He has a lot of knowledge, was always willing to go beyond expectations and always keeps me informed of required maintenance.

Luxurious is how I would describe this car! Smooth ride, efficient and a great looking vehicle! It has plenty of room and pretty cool features as well. I live this car and highly recommend it!

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

I came in here a hour and a half before they closed. Donnie helped me out and got me in the car I’ve been wanting Super quick process and I left very pleased.

Many problems, but the car drives fine. Got it for cheap as a first car. Already had to put around 3- 4k into it. Fun car

MUST READ ALL: I recently visited several Toyota dealerships within a 10 mile radius of AUTONATION more towards the Lake Jackson area. While shopping around to buy and trade in a vehicle here?s something important I learned: not all Toyota dealerships are the same. 2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Best car buying experience ever. No haggle saves alot of YOUR time. Narrow you choices down, test drive, and do some paperwork. In an out in less than 2.5 hours.

I bought this car new in 2008. I have nothing bad to say except the paint start flaking after about 5 years. I should have taken to dealer over paint issue. My car only has 65,000 miles and paint is completely gone. I am in the process of a new paint job. Seems my issue was the clear coat in the paint. I have owned 6 other Toyotas, all bought new. This is only 1 with this issue!

After driving and using it drives like brand new for a used ride. My wife and I are very happy. Even if it’s old feels brand new.

I was bogging in my moms car and offroading mudholes and all it was going fine till it hydro planed into a tree either than that amazing I would look into that though

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Over All good exsprence. The truck was washed and ready sales rep Lizz was through. Lizz made sure that we retrieved everything from our truck and that we knew how to use the truck features.

It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

Had trouble getting my car after service. I was waiting on my car but they parked it in the lot. Had to wait 15 minutes for them to find it. Had my air filter replaced but they didn?t reset it.

I am the original owner of my 2004 Toyota Highlander purchased with 8 miles on it ( my test drive miles =))... it currently has 419,100 miles. Original engine, transmission etc... Some upkeep throughout the years... but She's still pushing and running smoothly. What's the saying " til the wheels fall off" which shouldn't be anytime soon because I just purchased new tires last year. =))). Best vehicle ever, very reliable, sturdy, and fun to drive....we have been through a lot.

My 2003 Highlander is now 20 years old and has been in our family the whole time. 260,000 Miles and this beautiful car runs like new. I love the power of the V6. I love the ride and the FWD does great in the mountains. I love the reliability. I love the tape deck! I frequently drive rental cars that are brand new that I don't like nearly as much as this 20 yr old Highlander. Amazing reliability and a joy to drive.

Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).
