I drove into the service area this morning without an appointment and was greeted by Cam. He was friendly and asked what I needed. Then Quinn arrived to ask what I needed and I explained that the CarPlay disappeared and I needed help getting it back. Right away he took charge and got it connected. Then I explained another problem about my voice prompt not working and then Rich Kim appeared to ask if he could help. So I had two people on the scene( and in my car) to go through what seemed to be a complicated process to reset my system. I wish I knew what they did, all I can say is they stepped up and rescued me. Rich had a lot of knowledge and even though I was worried to start resetting everything, he came through and got everything working. This most important aspect of this experience is the immediate help with my problem. Tech is obviously not in my wheel-house, having such smart and helpful Honda Kirkland staff is amazing. Rich and Quinn never hesitated, gave heavy sighs, or gave a hint of inconvenience in taking care of my situation. Every visit for my scheduled maintenance has been pleasant and I will sing the praises of Rich Kim and Quinn at every opportunity. Thank you.

More than a month went by, and despite repeatedly following up with my salesperson, I kept getting the same response: "Our service department will call you to schedule an appointment." When I tried calling to follow up, my calls would go straight to voicemail after only a couple of rings, and I felt like I was getting nowhere. It was disappointing because the excitement of buying a new car was being overshadowed by the lack of communication and follow-through. Finally, I decided to call the service department directly, and that's when I had the pleasure of speaking with Billy Robinson in the Make Ready Department. From the moment he answered the phone, everything changed. Billy listened patiently to my concerns, treated me with genuine respect, and immediately took ownership of the situation. He didn't make excuses or pass me off to someone else, he simply said he would take care of it, and he absolutely did. True to his word, Billy had everything arranged and completed the very next day. After more than a month of waiting and getting nowhere, he accomplished in one day. That level of responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction is rare these days. Billy Robinson is exactly the kind of employee every dealership hopes to have. He is courteous, compassionate, accountable, and truly cares about his customers. He turned a very frustrating experience into a positive one simply by doing what he said he would do. His outstanding communication and willingness to help restore my confidence in the dealership. Let's face it: buying a new car can be a real hassle. I can honestly and happily report that Toyota of Hernando provided an amazing experience that far surpassed our expectations. The facility is new and clean. Our salesman, Zach Dickinson, was so helpful and easy to work with. He's been in the car business for years, so his perspective was invaluable when discussing pros and cons of the Grand Highlander we were looking at. Ali was our financial liaison and was very warm and professional. Mind you, we walked into the dealership at 6:45ish pm and bought this car in two hours. Ali got it done quickly, but he nor anyone else at the dealership ever made us feel rushed. But the real test of a company is their response when something goes wrong, and in our experience, Toyota of Hernando knocked it out of the park. First, Ali called me to check on how everything was going and if we liked the car. I told him about a somewhat serious glitch (TMTT) that happened three times in the four days we owned the car. It didn't happen all the time and I just knew if I took it in (1) the problem wouldn't occur for the service personnel, so they'd just shrug and say 'we don't know what you're talking about;' and (2) they would ignore or condescend to me because I'm a woman and I don't know that much about cars. I was pleasantly surprised that neither happened. Ahmad Stewart and Chris Todd in the service department patiently listened to my whole story, asked excellent questions, and a chance comment by Chris and my response led us immediately to the problem which was fixed in about 10 minutes. I have never been treated so respectfully by car service people in my life. They were so open to my explanation and never once made me feel stupid. Then, Chris spent a good half hour with me going over the dash cam, getting my phone hooked up, and explaining the best way to use the air conditioner of all things! I learned so much from him. His title is Product Specialist, but he is a product genius. He knows those cars up, down, backwards, and forwards. Last thing, Toyota of Hernando is not close to our home. It is not convenient. I will never go anywhere else to buy a car. It's that good.You will not be sorry you did business with them.
