2026 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The car is an absolute joy to drive. It handles amazingly. I wanted reliable, good fuel mileage, and sporty. The car checks all 3 boxes. I’ve put almost 1500 miles on the car in 15 days. It goes from miles per gallon to smiles per gallon with a simple press of the gas pedal. I did a lot of research on the car before the test drive and the purchase. The reviews could not have prepared me for the actual test drive and how well the car performs. The car will break the tires loose at 20 mph. I have zero negative things to say about the car. I can’t even attempt to say anything negative. I drive almost 80 miles per day for work. I look forward to the commute thanks to the car.

2018 Volkswagen Beetle review
This Beetle was my car that I traded in recently for a new Tiguan. The car was excellent, and always reliable. We wanted to own one of the last Beetles made, and glad that we purchased it from Mt. Prospect VW (AutoBarn) four years ago. Whoever purchases this bug, is getting a great car, and we will miss it!

I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.

I purchased a Tiguan (9/25) and love it! I was struggling with using my Serius account and Alan Suitor offered to help me find out what the problem was. Not only did he take the time to patiently work with me on this but he also follows up to make sure that I am still happy with my car. In addition, I had a stain on my hood from a wet red leaf and they are working on taking care of that. Outstanding customer service. Would recommend this dealership to everyone!

2016 Volkswagen Golf R review
I have owned this 2016 Golf R manual since December, 2015. My previous car was a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3, a great hot hatch in it's own right. Right away I knew I had to tune the Golf R to make it feel faster than the Speed 3. APR Stage 1 accomplished that in spades. Not satisfied, I went Stage 2 which made the car absolutely bonkers (I did have to upgrade the clutch to a Southbend Stage 3 racing clutch). I have had three years on the Stage 2 and have had zero problems with it. Unrelated issues have included rear differential oil leak, window switch modulation, and misfiring due to bad plugs and coils. All except the latter were fixed under warranty. There is also a problem with the backlighting of the speedo/tach/fuel/coolant temp gauge that hasn't been fixed but other displays are fine. The car at just under 54K miles remains a blast to drive and very easy to live with.

2 years of experience with Alex and the Genesis dealership, it is getting better and better. The valet service is great, the diagnostic available by video is thorough and the owner keeps control over the final decision of what must be done and what could wait. Overall, the communication has improved and shows how much Genesis and its dealerships want to make it a premium brand.

A Better Way Wholesale review
Fast and dirty. 20+ salesmen all busy. 800 used cars from auction, none of them have been detailed yet. If you need a car today on a sub $15k budget I would go here and detail it yourself. Good place to buy a first car. Don’t buy a luxury item or anything collectible. The the inventory doesn’t turn super fast so every single car will likely need a rotor resurfacing. They had family guy on the tv which I thought was odd for a dealership. Not really dealership vibes, which is good!
2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The car meets a perfect speed standard for specific drivers, if you want power when you need to pass somebody or just got a nice long road you want to open it up on, you can do it, very well if I must say, the 2.0t is a amazing motor overall, so many different things you can do with it power wise, just overall a great balance car, butttt your back seat is not the best in a 2 door, which is what I have lol, oh well

2023 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
Volkswagen did a great job refining the MK8 GTI. Key points -One of the best handling FWD cars mainly due to the LSD, XDS and suspension refinement. -Very smooth power deliver almost 0 turbo lag. - 40th anniversary has to be the best value purchase as it comes standard with DCC and IQ lightings which are only available on the highest trim. The negatives include: -The infotainment can be improved wireless android and apple car play need to be standard. Can't set your phone properly on the wireless charger when the phone is attached to the wire. - Compared to the MK7 the coin holder and the sliding storage below the driver sear is missing. -Unable to disable auto start and stop feature permanently as restores to default on every time you start the vehicle.

Volkswagen DanburyReviews
2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
GTI's do almost everything well. Economy, performance, flexibility, holds value, road car, back roads car, safety, comfort, feature-laden and now almost $10K less than the price of the average new vehicle. Two minor flaws IMO. All GTI's should have Golf R climate controls. Standard controls too confusing and fussy. Rather set it and forgot it. DSG is "still funky after all these years." Don't get me wrong, the lightning quick shifts and in-traffic ease are compelling, but DSGs can be clunky and feel strange at low speed and can't yet read all of your intentions correctly, thus some odd decisions/shifts on occasion. Not a fault, just a thing. Otherwise brilliant. GTI is among the contenders for "best" mass-produced combustion engine car of all time. Yes, that good. If shopping the used market, I would strongly suggest one try to get a Performance Package car. Much better brakes that won't need brake service as often and stop better. Also, the electronically controlled differential aids both traction and handling.

2022 Volkswagen Golf R review
The Golf R is really a very unique and individualistic car - 'hot hatch' does not really fit as a descriptor as the 'R' is a much more mature and capable car. The car's ultra-high performance is complimented by excellent road handling thanks to AWD and the torque vectoring rear axle (A system only available in the much more expensive Audi RS3). Some commentators have griped at the price approx. 45K (Without Dealer 'Premiums') - however, as stated, this is a much more mature package that contains almost every option know to man! Head Up Display, Napa leather heated and cooled front seats/heated rear seats, Harman Kardon sound system, Automatically operating IQ lights, etc. etc. The true beauty of the R is that it can be driven as an extremely civilized everyday commuter, or you can unleash its inner demons with fantastically satisfying results! Some critics have commented negatively about the infotainment system and the lack of knobs - I am 66 and have found the system incredibly intuitive and intelligent to use - a little patience never goes amiss! Ultimately, this is a superb performance car that delivers in so many ways - it is mature, precise and measured - an amazing car! No, its not a hot hatch in the traditional sense - it is a car that is far more than that!

2024 Volkswagen Golf R review
I owned a 2019 Golf R and recently traded for a new 2024 Golf R. My 2019 was a 6 speed manual, but I’ve finally gave in and bought the 2024 with the automatic. I always loved shifting, but getting a little older so thought it was time. Love my Golf R……GolfR comes with all the options I’d ever want standard, so, the price may seem high, hit you get everything you probably want standard, no options required .

I visited on the second day being opened and had a great experience in buying a 2022 Explorer and trading in a 2016. It was seamless. Had an issue with the new car that turned out to be a factory defect that they had Ford correct. All good. I’ll be back.
2017 Volkswagen Golf review
I have a 130k on mine and it runs better than a Swiss watch. No major issues, ever! comfortable, fast and easy on fuel. It has everything that I need and nothing that I do not. Clearly the high point of the Golf's evolution. I am dreading finding a replacement as nothing on the market today comes close to being such a complete car.

2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The quality of a MK7.5 is fantastic, even with a few years out the MK7 Platform does hold up great, people who take care of this car can see that this Generation whole from the MK7.0 to the MK7.5 design is on Peak, best designed Golf ever made. Driveability: the MK7 platform acomplishes it’s purpose depending on the model you get in my Case is the GTI, very sporty stiffer suspension than the Regular Goof it pays off the driving feel on spirited driving, confort mode comes with the vehicles with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) it’s pretty comfortable for what you get, it is not a Passat this is a Golf GTI inspired to be Sporty Manual transmission, it’s a great transmission, with practice you can have a very comfortable driving experience or a lot of fun on spirited driving. This is the best car I have ever owned since new, I don’t beat on it much and I do ALL my maintenances on time or before time depending by mileage or time from the Owners Manual. It is a lot of fun to drive And it’s highly modifiable as by just doing a good set up for the intake can make the car sound and behave a little bit different, with a short shifter kit can also change the personality of the car driving it. With some cool body mods such as OEM+ can really change the looks of the vehicle. I love this car and I’ll be keeping it for a long time.

Acura of Stamford review
I recently leased the Acura ADX. Initially, I wasn’t certain that I was going to lease, the Acura through the Stamford dealership. However, I was pleasantly pleased with my sales woman Leah, who worked diligently to get me to the price point that I wanted to be at. She also answered all my questions after her work day was done and even contacted me on her day off which was much appreciated. We were able to close the deal and I was very happy with what we negotiated. She made herself readily available to help me also with transferring my insurance as well as contacting the DMV and turning in my new plates. Overall, I had a great experience.

2024 Volkswagen Golf R review
Owned my 2024 Golf R Manual Transmission since October 2023. Traded in a 2018 Mustang GT Manual with all the bells and whistles except a security package. The only thing I miss is the Coyote wail, otherwise the Golf is more fun to drive, with short gearing for quick jumps off the line with its AWD traction and good push in your back in top gear at highway speeds, and a simple drop into 4th for truly impressive hole shots that surprise the unsuspecting motorists stereotyping your car as a typical econobox. The only drawback with the short gearing is hitting the 6500 rpm rev limiter sooner than you expect. It has luxury car pretensions with all its features for the money, ride and NVH, including an adaptive suspension with truly noticeable variance in its range of settings; and it is more refined with better build quality than the Mustang with a more usable backseat and cargo area to boot. The torque vectoring rear differential provides noticeable performance when hitting the gas coming out of turns. The HK audio is a little tinny for my ears compared to an Acura ELS system two cars ago (2010 TL). So far, I have witnessed software glitches with the cornering lighting system and the steering wheel button controls failing intermittently, hoping the dealer will be able to duplicate and address the problems before the warranty runs out (compared to no warranty or other failure issues with the Ford over 6 years). Many people call a $47K Golf ridiculously priced; but I'd say they really don't understand and are judging it by its 2-box design aesthetics. You are getting engine, steering, and sport differential similar (if not the exact same) as what's used in 2.0T Porsche Macans and Audi SQ5s for thousands less, with an MT option; more refined than GR Corrolla, more features than Subaru WRX, and torque vectoring AWD superior to more expensive Acura Integra Type S and similar price to Civic R, which are both fwd only. No regrets yet with some cautious optimism the minor glitches don't turn into the full blown stereotypical VW electrical issues for which they can be known.

TJ Motors LLCReviews
TJ Motors LLC review
September 12th. 2022 TJ Motors Has Done a fantastic Job Again and Again ! My Wife and I purchased our 3rd Car From TJ Motors! The 2nd was about 3 years ago a 2016 Ford Escape which is loaded with all of the bells and whistles that my wife desired and has performed greatly and reliably - the Salesman whose name escapes me and Finance Manager Mike Kievites once again made the transaction pleasant, non-pressured and with a great extended warranty ! The 3rd car is a 2018 Ford EcoSport which we just purchased on September 12th, 2022 was even more of breeze as I had immediately sent our budget for down payment, monthly payment and extended warranty. Mike responded early that the car was still available. My wife had Window shopped the vehicle that weekend so she had her heart set on the car and expressed this to Mike over the phone. So at Mike's recommendation I did a pre-loan application. We stopped by to test drive, the car was everything my wife wanted perfect size, features, price, interest rate based on my improved credit and monthly payments with another great warranty and better yet, all of the paperwork was ready to be signed. My wife drove out in less that 40 minutes with great 4WD vehicle that will provide safety and comfort in especially in the Winter months. Thanks to Mike Kievits, Todd Blonder & the TJ MOTORS staff for another great car buying experience! For high quality, reliable cars & service with a great price and flexible financing warranty options, I highly recommend TJ MOTORS to anyone looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. Sincerely, Tony & Cyndi Sutton Feb 8, 2017: I had the best car buying experience ! I got the car I wanted (practically new 2014 Nissan Sentra with very low miles in mint condition), at the price I wanted, plus affordable financing (well below my budget expectation) with a lower interest rate than my previous auto purchases & a fantastic warranty that I did not expect. Salesman/Finance Manager Mike Kievits was very personable, patient & did not once try to sell me a car that I did not ask to test drive. That is the true meaning of no pressure sales plus he did not ask me to accept a lesser car due to my credit situation. He kept his word, worked hard to get me financed & I was able to drive home my newly purchased vehicle the same day. They even took my junker car off my hands & applied a credit to my down payment. The staff even helped me transfer a few trunk items from my old car to the newly purchased one. Thanks to Mike Kievits & the TJ MOTORS staff for a great car buying experience! For high quality, reliable cars & service with a great warranty, I highly recommend TJ MOTORS to anyone looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. Sincerely, Tony Sutton
