Sherry was so helpful with photos and Facetime to make sure I was comfortable with the transaction. She made sure the car was prepped properly before shipping and even answered her phone and helped at 9 pm one night when there was a shipping issue. Great experience with Zaia who handled my 2016 Acadia getting an oil change. Only small issue was asking not to wash my car at the end, but the agent/technician did anyway. Zaia apologized and asked me if I want them to wipe it down. I said Yes! When I went out to the service area I found Zaia and the agent/technician wiping it down. I was very pleased with the outcome and the car looked great! Thank you!

Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. I came in for an oil change and alignment. Since the process includes a check on my car’s components, I was told that I should replace my spark plugs since my car is older and I still had the original ones from when I purchased the car. I was also told that one of my tires has a slash in it and should be replaced. I wouldn’t have known that except for the all points inspection done by Toyota.

Super friendly and they went sooo out of the way to make this purchase special for my son’s first car. Kush had been taking care of us.
