2003 Chevrolet Corvette review
Purchased with a worn out wheel bearing, broken shock and engine light. Drove 2400 miles from Arizona to Pennsylvania without skipping a beat! I was prepared to tow it back but we did 90+ mph on the way home getting 23 mpg. May be the best car I have purchased? Fixed it up and beat it daily with no hiccups!

2005 Chevrolet Corvette review
Purchased my 2005 vette used with 23k miles in 2012 I have had it for 10 years, 1 tune up, very low maintenance. Checks all the boxes I have almost 99k miles. She is a head turner thumbs up. Almost every time I take her out she gets a compliment. When I park it and walking up to it I always think if it was not mine that I would love to have it. Driven it cross country twice she loves to run the faster you drive the faster it wants to go. It's my 2nd corvette I had a 88 centiniel edition 35th off the assembly line. As much as I liked that one my 2005 puts it to shame love this car!!

2001 Chevrolet Corvette review
I recently bought a 2001 C5 base automatic with 59,000 miles on it. I absolutely love this car. I’ve been using it as my daily and have put about 2,000 miles on it in about 5 months and it’s been nothing but great. Mine does have the Z51 package so it’s a little stiff and bumpy but with a sports car that what you expect. The only problems I’ve had are sometimes one of the pop up lights doesn’t go up but the good thing is there’s a hand crank for when that happens so you can put them up and the radio in mine had an issue where the lights on it would stay on and drain the battery but it is a 23 year old car so a few small electrical issues don’t surprise me. Besides that it’s been a great car so far and for anyone looking for a good, reliable, great looking sports car I don’t think there’s a better one out there especially for the money, it’s also plenty fast, I’ve recorded a 4.4 second 0-60 in mine on a non prepped road and all the mods mine has is a straight pipe muffler delete with no tips and pipes and a cold air intake so it’s pretty much stock. Overall I absolutely love this car and I hope to keep it for a long time (or until I get a C7 corvette) but I’d definitely recommend it if you can find a decent one for the money!

1981 Chevrolet Corvette review
It's been 7 years since I wrote my last review on the same car . Not much has changed since then. I have made a few up grades each year. Bluetooth for an unbelievable concert type sound with or without the T-tops on , Added heat deflective padding under the carpeting and went with a new AC system for really hot summer days. Prices are a bit higher to get into the 80 to 82 models. These ride so much better than the 68 to 79 years. Also, they look cleaner with the built-in rear spoiler. From kids to older adults, Parts are a breeze still to get and its going on 43 years old. You get a lot of thumbs up with smiles on the road with this classic

2000 Chevrolet Corvette review
I retired a year ago and decided to trade my three year old commuter EV for a C5 Corvette. I had been wanting one ever since they first came out in 1997. I had to look all the way to Boise ID to find a nice pewter metallic hard top (FRC). I found it on Cars.com and made contact with Mark at the dealership Fairly Reliable Bob's. I flew out and picked up the car. Early the next day I started out on the eleven hour drive home. Never having driven a Corvette, I had a bit of a learning curve. The shifter requires very positive gate insertions, especially in first and reverse. The other surprise was the pedal placements. I found myself accidentally hitting the brake pedal while pushing in the clutch, and occasionally pressing on the throttle while getting on the brakes. Once I got the hang of it, it became a joy to drive. I'm a stock exhaust kind of a guy and the system on this car is pleasantly tame while driving normally, but wow, does it sound awesome when you get on it! It was a fairly smooth ride until I neared the Lake Tahoe summit. The road up there is in horrendous condition. The corvette was transformed into a resonance chamber. I was becoming concerned that I would need to pull over and retighten all of the fasteners. But, it was all good again once I got past that stretch of road. The car had a flooded lead acid battery in it which is a no-no in a C5. I was glad that it did not crack and leak all over the ECM. I replaced it with a proper AGM battery a few days later. One thing I was worried about with a car that sits as low as this one does is whether or not I could get it up and down my steep driveway without tearing off the front end. The answer is that it scrapes pretty good in both directions but doesn't bottom on the skid plates. I have purchased a set of rubber castors to mount on the skid plates. I just need to get that job done. To summarize: My other car is a Fiero GT and I can report that neither car is for everyone. 2007 Chevrolet Corvette review
I got my 2007 C-6, in Atomic Orange, in 2020. I found out about it from my sister’s youngest son’s girlfriend, who also was my oldest grandson’s pre-school teacher. Her mom was the executor of her cousin’s estate and had moved the car from her cousin’s home to her farm. Yes, it was actually sitting in a barn with a dead battery and covered in dust and pigeon droppings. The interior looked brand new. This was because after putting a new battery in, I saw that this 13 year old beast had only 6300 miles on it! The owner, who had passed away in 2018, had traded her 1992 C-4 in on the ‘07, drove it a few times and parked it because having double the HP scared her to drive it. Long story short, I saw it, drove it, fell in love with it and got it for a song! Took it home and immediately gave it a bath, using a foam cannon and microfiber mitt of course. Four years later, I’ve put another 7K miles on it and I have no plans of parting with it anytime soon! The only drawback is the interior, which is pretty much the cheapest looking interior styling that resembles an old Chevette. Chevy gave the C-7 a complete overhaul of the interior design in 2014. However, the outside looks great, the handling is superb and the 6.0 LS-2 has gobs of HP and torque. Awesome find after being retired for a couple years and living the dream!

2004 Chevrolet Corvette review
My dream car. I purchased my first in 05 and drove it to 120k miles and she was still going strong but had to sell her and get a more client friendly ride. Fast forward to today, I bought my second 04 with less than 10k miles on it. Spent a little money on paint correction and ceramic coating, on bringing the motor back up to speed with new fuel injectors and plugs and wires and she drives like a dream and looks better than off the showroom floor. This is my favorite body style ever and if you're looking for a sporty ride with get up and go along with handling and a classy look that demands attention look no further.

2000 Chevrolet Corvette review
I purchased my 2000 C5 dark bowling green in 2014 it only had 23,000 miles on it, today it has close to 200,000 miles I drive it the only upgrades that I've done is I put different Wheels that mimic the stock ones they're just one inch wider front and back, an air intake from K&N and a Cat-Back system from Flowmasters. I can't go anywhere where at least two people come up and comment on my car and no one can believe it's 23 years old I do keep it in good shape it is the original paint. Like any other vehicle you have little issues water pumps I change the air conditioning a leak in the rear end had to get a new alternator all the normal stuff for cars that are 23 years old no major failures. The performance on this car is fantastic it's fast a Corners well. And if I can keep my foot out of it it gets pretty good gas mileage for the most part. I will say if you plan to get one of these C5 Corvettes you have to be willing to work on the car if you want it to run the way it's designed has a ton of sensors all kinds of grounds there's a lot to it, but the joy and the fun that you get out of it is well worth it.

2003 Chevrolet Corvette review
Purchased with a worn out wheel bearing, broken shock and engine light. Drove 2400 miles from Arizona to Pennsylvania without skipping a beat! I was prepared to tow it back but we did 90+ mph on the way home getting 23 mpg. May be the best car I have purchased? Fixed it up and beat it daily with no hiccups!

2005 Chevrolet Corvette review
I purchased a 2005 Corvette coupe from the original owner over two years ago, with approximately 53,000 miles. The only issue I had was an automatic transmission shift issue, which was disclosed at time of purchase. The repair cost about $850 in 2020. I now have 59,000 miles and have had no major mechanical problems. The only minor problems encountered are (1) dashboard lights delay at startup, but only occurring about 5% of the time, and (2) cd player has to be engaged twice to operate. I just replaced the driver side sun visor due to mirror/vanity lights coming apart. This Corvette is in beautiful condition, with tires replaced and always waxed and kept in garage out of the direct Phoenix sun. I recommend the 2005 Corvette to all sports car buyers.

2002 Chevrolet Corvette review
It truly is an American dream car... fast, reliable, easy to maintain, quick response, surprisingly good gas mileage better than my Nissan XTerra, and most of all very affordable sports car in the market. Most maintenance can be done by an average DIYer and there's a glut of after market parts available everywhere. I have a convertible triple black and it gets admired every time I'm on the road. This is my first Corvette and with my age, probably not my last.
