2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
I had a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (that I absolutely loved), but the lease was ending. Since that purchase, I have had two grandchildren, and though I could take them with me in the Ioniq, it was a tight squeeze (again, it was a GREAT car). I decided I needed something with more seating, which meant a three row SUV or a minivan. I was used to an all electric vehicle and wanted to get something that was at least hybrid. I honestly thought my days of a minivan were way behind me when my children got older so I was kind of dreading that option. The truth is I couldn't be happier. The mileage has been fantastic - I've been averaging about 50 mpg. Because the van is a plug-in hybrid, I drive a lot of local miles on all electric which helps immensely with the mileage. There is plenty of room for my kids (and their kids). Lots of places to plug in all of their devices. My wife's aunt told me that the back seats were incredibly comfortable as well. The only thing I wish it had were a few more amenities - but that is entirely my fault. I bought it used and picked up the first decently priced one I found. I should have waited a bit for one that was a bit more loaded, but again, that's on my, not the vehicle. The ride is incredibly smooth and the power is just fine for a minivan - obviously not what I was used to with the EV, but then I don't expect that. I'm enjoying driving in comfort and getting in and out is much more comfortable on my old back!

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
Excellent overall car! Great interior space, amazing technology and outfitted so nicely on our 2021 limited. Very comfortable for adults and kids second row-although could use more legroom for over 6’ persons. 3rd row we rarely use-usually folded up and great for kids. Adults-let’s face it no vehicles with third row are huge leg room back there! Seats are comfortable but typically made more smaller sized adults. Power seats are a must for taller adults. Mechanically it’s been good up to 22k we have a major battery heater issue that it’s not working. Fixed under warranty. But early on we also had sone glitchy electronic issues in our dash but those seemed to have disappeared. Biggest issue I have is it does not regenerate electric or capture the wasted energy of the motor going down the road. Rubs on electric for 30-34 miles then it’s basically on gas. Major disappointment after owning Toyota hybrids. That said for everyday use it’s amazing. But if you drive over 50-60 miles a day or use it only for a trips etc Ild save the money of the hybrid and buy all gas. Other then the battery heater issue, lack of longer distance electric/recapturing unused energy from engine and finally the FWD only is challenging in deep snow due to low clearance-we love it! We will be going to a Toyota Sienna because of higher clearance AWD and we drive both daily and long term distances where the recapturing power is a major issue. Sad part is we can’t use our off peak charging in the sienna. Tip: installed a juice 240 charger on off peak with Pacifica. In our area to drive 32 miles a day costs us less then .35 using off peak charging making this very very economical ti drive as a daily driver!

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
I got 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Limited in December 2021. I will not go deep into comfort, ride quality and design. All of those are present and there are hundreds of reviews out there. I want to cover a few things. EV range and fuel economy. In my case it is as advertised. At the beginning I was really frustrated with a fuel economy. I was getting 26-30 mpg, despite I charged it every night to 100%. But, I got a car in December and here in NY it can get pretty chilly. An ambient weather temperature does effect MPGe a lot! It diminishes battery performance and the heater consume the charge as well. I was getting, maybe, 26 miles on a battery the most. The first day when temperature was above 55 I saw an improvement. And after a week or two an avarage MPG raised to 37. I was able to go 41 miles on battery on a highway, cruising at 70-75 mph. Later my wife took over the van (she loves it). She drives 70 present of the time around the town, up to 50 miles, several days a week. Again, charging every night. The MPG now is around 47. With this driving behavior this can shines, this type of use was my initial plan. On a highway speeds when the battery is depleted, fuel economy is the same or even worth then my previous gasoline pacifica. Also, without electrical "help", performance is far behind it's gasoline sibling. My conclusion is - this car really pais off in town driving and, preferably, with daily charging. Otherwise, it is worth then regular gasoline version. I owned both, this is my opinion. Issues. No major issues after 4K miles. But some little and annoying are there. After heavy snowing I start to get a message that a handsfree sliding door sensor is blocked and I need to wash underneath the car. I did, but the message is still there. Both doors work fine and with handsfree function. I will look into it, when it will get wormer. Another issue was with infotainment system. The update came over-the-air and was installed automatically. After that the PHEV section disappeared. I could not see my EV driving statistics, power distribution and could not change charging schedule. I read some forums and it is a common issue. I did hard reset infotaiment system at least 10 times to no availability. The I decided to take it to the dealership, but after a couple of days it appeared on its own, all of a sudden. Wireless charging pad and wireless android auto works horrible. First one can barely charge a phone and Android auto periodically looses connection. This car has a function to tilt side mirrors down in reverse. It is nice feature, though, I think it tilts way to much down, so I can see my rear wheel and a car body, but not what is behind. The issue is that the right mirror does not comes back and remains tilted down. I need manually bring it back. Garage door opener has a weaker range compared to my previous 2018 Pacifica. Sometimes I have to press it several times standing in front of the garage door. So, I had zero problems with my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica for almost 4 years of use. With this one those little problems does give negative feeling, considering the car is 56K. The way it drives, comfort, practically and, in my case, fuel efficiency are great! Overall we are pleased with this car and hopefully nothing will add up to those little problems.

He's very charismatic, very charming, a good salesman some might say. He will attempt to sell you on the usual extra services and coverage. Then he'll go through a presentation on the manufacturers warranty compared to a 3rd party warranty. That little presentation includes some inaccuracies. He either hasn't read the contract or lacks proper understanding of how it works. He will then reassure you, that you can get a full refund within 30 days after you've had time to read the contract and lookup reviews. However, this is only partially true. In the state of Iowa extended warranties are taxable contracts. When they show you the price, it doesn't include the sales tax. That will only be shown once you've agreed to the price and go through the signing process. (red flag #1) Please Note: you will not have internet service inside his office and their public wifi does not work. If you attempt to cancel the contract that they sell as fully refundable within the first 30 days, prorated after that, you will find out that they will refuse to refund the tax they collected (even if it's just 1 business day after your purchase) and claim once it's sent to the state they don't get it back and won't be able to refund it to you. This is what some might call a lie by omission. (red flag #2). By the way, they don't sell the GM Extended warranty (likely because they don't make as much money on it), but if you're interested in it, it's significantly cheaper and you can get it for 12 months longer and 10k mile more coverage than the 3rd party warranty they offer. (red flag #3) All in all, I'm happy with my purchasing experience and would buy from them again. I'll just be on guard a little more when it comes to meeting with the business/finance manager. I know they have to make their money to, I just don't like being lied to. Even if it was just an error I think they should have made it right which they did not do. I hope this review helps someone be a little better prepared than I was.

Months later, I have a new job that requires me in office 5 days a week after working from home for 5 years. After test driving terrible used cars elsewhere, I bring my wife back to see their used cars, feeling as though theirs will be in great condition for a great price. Jim in sales (with Mike’s partnership), again, heard my story and my needs. Showed me some used cars, but made a better deal for a brand new Elantra Sport trim for about the same monthly cost as a used car. Again, fought to give us every deal and break they could to make the numbers work for our life. Went in looking at a 16 Cruze & 18 Malibu, they sold me a brand new 2025 Elantra and couldn’t have felt better about the decision Jim, Alfonso, Mike…Thank you for everything. 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
I wanted to get a straight story on the economy on electric operation and gas miles per gallons. I measured my 2021 hybrid Pacifica. It takes 14kW-hrs of electrical energy to charge the battery. It will go about 30 miles with that charge. At $.25 a kilowatt hour it will cost $3.50 to charge the battery. Driving on just gas I get about 30 miles per gallon. Today that will cost about $5.

I showed him great reviews that Hertz has on other websites and decided to write this one.We purchased 2017 Altima and they even called us when they received the second key. THere was no presure for getting warranty, etc and we got a great rate. You should go and check for yourself.

2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
Only 2 items that need to be addressed is the volume control the navigation system plus headlights are not good for night driving. As of December 2022 I drove all around the USA putting on 60,000 miles on my 2020 Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid. Love and enjoyed driving this Great Product.
