2023 Audi Q4 e-tron review
I recently leased a 2024 Quattro premium plus 55. I have not had the severe issues others mention in reviews, but agree that the electronics and software are sometimes frustrating. It drives nicely for an SUV (I prefer driving small cars). I don’t like the behavior of the brakes. You have to really step on them for the final 5 mph to complete stop — they are not linear. I know VW knows how to do brakes in an EV, because the e-Golf is fantastic. Also annoying are the steering wheel buttons — again, big downgrade from the e-Golf. Overall, happy with the great lease deal I got.

2021 Porsche Taycan review
This is by far the best EV for the people that want a real drivers car. I have driven a lot of different EVs and mostly are numb and feel real heavy, this one is not lightweight but hides it real well and corners/handles like a real Porsche.

2020 Tesla Model X review
I’ve had a few small items need attention and one door motor go bad. It’s a bit large for my garage and driving. Autopilot is great but not perfect but makes driving less stressful. Trim piece came loose and fit of components is not precise but overall I love this car! If one has solar and a Tesla Powerwall too, this car is awesome, otherwise your power bill may “shock” you. My car has free supercharging for long trips.

2017 Tesla Model X review
Only minor problems with only one maintance/repair/upgrade visit just recently (2020) at a Tesla SC, 1.5 days in the shop. All other minor problems handled by an excellent mobile Tesla tech that comes to your house (a special service for those not near a SC). No drivetrain problems whatsoever. 1/3 the maintenance cost of an ICE vehicle, no gas cost. Gas net savings about $5,0000 over 5 years. This is an SUV with moderate dirt road capability and 9" ground clearance.

2021 Tesla Model S review
purchased used with 2,200 miles. At first, I hated it, I've never had an all-electric car and the batter was dead. Luckily they sent someone to jump it. I was still thinking it was a mistake, until I actually drove it and got to know it and learn it. Drives totally different than my corvette. Now I like the Tesla better than my 650hp corvette. It hugs the road like nothing, takes off like a bat out of xxxx. From the moment I laid eyes on my 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring, I knew this was something special. The beautiful and classy aerodynamic design immediately caught my attention, with its striking light signature and unique styling setting it apart from anything else on the road. Interior & Comfort – A Luxurious Haven Stepping inside, I was greeted by an exquisitely designed, driver-focused cabin. The materials, fit, and finish exude true luxury, and the beautifully isolated interior creates an oasis of comfort. The seating is exceptionally adjustable, allowing me to fine-tune my position for maximum support, making long commutes an absolute pleasure. Driving Dynamics – Performance Meets Refinement Having previously owned a BMW M850, I had concerns about switching brands, fearing that nothing would come close to the driving experience I was used to. However, Lucid exceeded my expectations. The three driving modes provide the perfect balance between efficiency, comfort, and exhilaration. The 819 horsepower is nothing short of breathtaking, delivering instantaneous acceleration that never fails to put a smile on my face. The handling is precise and confidence-inspiring, with steering sensitivity adjusting seamlessly based on the driving mode. Whether taking tight corners or cruising at high speeds, the car goes exactly where I want it to. Ride Comfort – Designed for Long Journeys Beyond its thrilling performance, the ride comfort is exceptional. The adaptive cruise control, whisper-quiet cabin, and premium sound system elevate every drive. Even with my daily long commute, I step out of the car feeling refreshed. Technology & Infotainment – Intuitive and Smart For the first time, I find myself actually using the native GPS system, which is so good that I no longer need Google Maps. Apple CarPlay works seamlessly, and the integrated streaming services ensure I always have access to the perfect soundtrack for any journey. The infotainment system is intuitive, and having access to two screens makes everything feel effortless. Build Quality & Attention to Detail – Excellence in Every Inch Every aspect of this car screams quality. The materials, finishes, and overall craftsmanship are top-tier, with ambient lighting adding a touch of sophistication. Every time I step inside, I admire the meticulous attention to detail that went into designing this car. Range & Charging – Living Up to Expectations The real-world range has been close to the advertised numbers, which is impressive given my driving habits. Charging speeds vary depending on the station and how I’ve been driving, but overall, I am very pleased with the efficiency and ease of recharging. Standout Features – More Than Just a Car The generous legroom in both front and rear, the stunning exterior design, and the ample trunk and frunk space make this car as practical as it is beautiful. Opting for the 21-inch wheels was the right decision—they enhance handling, road feel, and overall driving dynamics while also elevating the car’s appearance. Areas for Improvement – A Work in Progress Some people mention ease of entry and exit, but I personally have had no issues. The AI Voice Assistant could integrate better, but I know Lucid is actively improving it and will push updates over the air, so I have no concerns there. Final Verdict – A Game-Changer After owning Mercedes and multiple BMW models (M550, M850, 330, i4), I can confidently say that switching to Lucid was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This car has completely redefined my expectations, and I am fully committed to the Lucid brand for as long as I can be. 2023 Porsche Taycan review
Fantastic driver. Very quiet inside and out. Back seat small for adults, and the car is a little low to the ground so some may find it hard to get out of. I would have liked a bit more interior storage space, but it does have two trunks! Came with several upgrades that I really appreciate. Performance has to be tried to be believed.

2020 Tesla Model X review
I'm a field service technician and have abused a Model X for over 10,000 miles. My territory is mostly TN, VA, and NC. Travelling throughout the Appalachian chain within, loaded with over a thousand pound of parts and material, has revealed a suspension that decimates rival SUVs. The majority of the weight being in the deck/battery of the vehicle makes for the great handling into the curves of the mountains. It's passing acceleration is amazing, going from 70 to 90 in about a second (loaded to the gill). I was renting SUVs for a few months and working them as I was, would lunge into curves because of the front heavy motor - and just scream trying to pass in the mountains. Most of the time I do not use the brake pedal, as letting off the accelerator engages the regenerative braking and charges the battery at the same time. The falcon doors and hatch back/trunk make loading and unloading easy with the added space in the "frunk". The infotainment system is super sweet with excellent mapping. The seats are easily adjusted to make them "just right" and made from a thick, supple, and cushy material that easily wipes clean. - I have travelled around the world doing commercial field (and military) service for 30 years, renting vehicles that were big, small, fast and slow. The Tesla Model X is the best SUV in the world today being quick, nimble, and tough as a nail.
