I can honestly say I’m not one of those people who usually writes a review. But this time I was compelled to write a review. From my brand specialist Ernie Alvarez to the fabulous finance manager Josh Bruhn I can’ say I never had a better experience purchasing a car. Most of the time I’ve dreaded going into a car dealership feeling like I was going to be taken advantage of or not taken care of or I was gonna have to haggle, haggle,haggle. From walking into the door I was greeted with a warm smile a comfortable confident handshake. Ernie was a great salesman! He gave me all of car information, gave me the Carfax showed me the price I was getting made sure I was comfortable. These should be things that you get from a car dealership but they are not things that you always get. If you look to purchase a car new or used car the Audi exchange in St Charles ask for Ernie Alvarez he’s is your guy. The finance manager was fabulous !!! Again that’s not something you normally say about a car dealership’s finance manager. I have already had my preapproved financing when I walked in, had a nice rate he went the extra mile and found me an even better rate. Got me a fabulous price with my warranty and made sure I knew all that the warranty entailed. Great dealership it was over an hour away from me and I was looking for a particular used car that they had and I am so glad that I chose that dealership. I can wholeheartedly recommend this dealership.
2025 Audi Q6 e-tron review
My first EV and a ton of fun to drive. Loaded with tech but it does take a while to get it all working. Fortunately, Audi has free phone support and they are great. The car is so smart, it tells you when to take you foot off the accelerator and slows the car down when you approach an intersection with stopped traffic. Amazing! The car handles well with a low center of gravity, accelerates well and gets the advertised mpeg. My car averages 3.2 miles/KW in mixed driving which is right at 307 miles per full charge, although you should never run it down to 0%. On a 160 mile trip with some stop and go traffic, the car used 50% total charge so my range anxiety is gone. On a fast charger, it starts at 135 KW/hr slowing decreasing to 90. That translates into a reasonable 25 minutes 30-80% charge. I had great reservations trading in my pristine BMW M550i, but it turned out to be a smart move. Buy one!

2021 Tesla Model 3 review
This car has been the best I’ve owned so far. Even if you aren’t looking at a Tesla, EVs in general are so much fun! I’ve had little maintenance in the three years I’ve had this car so far (tire rotations, wiper blades). Every major software update brings either new features or improvements.

2022 Tesla Model Y review
The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.

2021 Tesla Model Y review
The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. A few weeks ago, when we were getting a winter blizzard, I was driving my Mother home from Boulder. It was snowing about 2” -3” per hour, people were spinning out all over the place. Overall, very professional, progressed as a sale should, and they followed through on the details. Car arrived very clean, everything was included as expected. Transport service ran into some issues but they kept me in the loop and went out of their way to get the vehicle to us as quickly as they could (arrived at midnight and the driver still had 1 more stop to make, he was a nice as could be, and had no complaints - that is dedication). We are 180 miles away and Lexus of Naperville will be our new "go to" for Lexus vehicles. Closer dealers are not as transparent, and seem to be in the habit of wasting your time. It is hard to find a dealer that simply wants to sell a vehicle without playing any games. Lexus of Naperville is where you should go - ask for "Brendon" and "AP", they did a nice job. I didn't get a chance to work with her much, but Yvette was also very nice. Zach Paino from "Ship your car safely" was my contact for the transport.

2023 Toyota bZ4X review
What I do not like Remote start: There is no option just to start the HVAC, you have to start the car. The car needs to be locked. Why not combine 2 functions - lock first, then start HVAC. After getting into the car and starting, a number of features do not work and need manual intervention: Auto setting for heated seats and steering wheel Phone no longer connects. Manual intervention needed to connect CarPlay (several taps) I have not been able to get scheduled HVAC going from the app. Multi-Information display is almost obstructed by steering wheel. And I am 6’2”. Steering-wheel buttons are crowded. Setting, canceling, resuming buttons are close together and I need to look at the wheel to find the right button. Audio volume is much easier with a knob… I had to restrict the upper range of the lift gate opening so it would not hit the garage door. Now I hit my head on the lift gate edge if I am not careful. My car came with only 1 key fob. Several months later still no 2nd fob. Heat takes a long time to come on. Lack of recording cameras, like Tesla. Knob to put in Drive or Reverse. Easy to select the wrong direction. Pushbuttons are easier. Only randomly is CarPlay activated when starting car. I only want Carplay. What I like Auto parking brake. Seats are comfortable. Easy to drive the car smoothly. Comfortable. Auto heated seats and steering wheel. Qi wireless charger Wireless CarPlay (will not buy a car without it) Rubber car mats. Overall comments: I like the car, but the interfaces in the Hyundai Kona Electric I had previously were better.

2027 Chevrolet Bolt review
Great car for the money, it is my 3rd bolt and this one is the best I’ve had, although I didn’t have any problems with the other ones this one drives and rides better. It could use more sound deadening because there is a lot of road noise, other than that it’s a great car. I have the RS and I love it, I can’t understand why GM is going to quit making it!

2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV review
This is my first EV but I've owned three PHEV's before this vehicle. This is the most comfortable and best riding vehicle I've ever owned and that includes a Mercedes. I looked briefly at a Tesla before this and can't understand why anyone would want to buy a car that has a dash that looks like someone glued an ipad in the middle and called it good. The Equinox has a wrap around touch screen dash and all of the functions are easy to navigate to and self explanatory. It also has separate push button HVAC controls, which makes it nice for winter driving with gloves on.

Got a good deal on a late model used Traverse. No monkeying around with bait and switch tactics. Price advertised was honored, and was fair enough that I saw no need to haggle. Pierce Hadden was patient and professional throughout. The only drawback was the wait to close the deal with the finance rep due to his working with other customers.
2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV review
The car is a floating couch it’s so comfy! The tech is so cool and the big screen gets compliments all the time. Once you get use to its little quirks it’s an awesome car. I wish it charged a little quicker had better speakers and was a little more powerful but those three are fair trade offs for the value and comfort. Looks super cool too my nephew calls it a space car haha.. Good job Chevy!
