I would like to compliment the gentleman in the service department that, although I just came in for a 'The Works' oil change, etc., listened to my oddball story about a noise that started when I had to slam on the brakes when someone cut me off. What I needed to know was whether or not the sound was connected to anything important like the charging system, and not just a suspension or body bushing, which I could accept as something normal. This Maverick is just the right combination of 'utility' and ecology, and is wonderful.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2023 Ford Explorer review
This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

Fearing the worst, but Gangley serviceman checked my car thoroughly and assured me the change of a new battery would trigger to reset and during that period, engine may stall until fully charged. They completed all testing in less than 3 hours and I was good to go.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

The highlight of their response to an urgent situation was when the operator immediately understood the crisis and put me through to someone I thought was a randomly picked employee--but turned out to be Michael, the Operations Manager in charge of pretty much everything. He said he was going to physically start walking around Klaben in order to work things out for me. Wow. I asked him to roll me to Sean Klaben, service manager. As usual, Sean immediately worked with people and tech to get things sorted out. Long story short: Klaben is going to be there for you---no matter what the trouble is. When you need them, they will deliver. Go buy a car over there and you will see I'm right.

2023 Ford Explorer review

I and my wife have always had EXCELLENT service and respect for Andrew and his team members. We first got introduced to Spitzer Northfield by Darrell Zasnuskie a salesman and friend. Andrew was doing service appointments and repairs when we first met him some 12-13 years ago. We had issues with our 2010 Buick that he painstakingly birddogged and resolved our vehicles issue, after a ridiculous amount of effort corrected our issue. Moving forward Andrew and his Service/Mechanical team have been GREAT partners. I have been Vice President of several companies. People skills and compassion is something that is hard to teach. I would like to compliment the gentleman in the service department that, although I just came in for a 'The Works' oil change, etc., listened to my oddball story about a noise that started when I had to slam on the brakes when someone cut me off. What I needed to know was whether or not the sound was connected to anything important like the charging system, and not just a suspension or body bushing, which I could accept as something normal. This Maverick is just the right combination of 'utility' and ecology, and is wonderful.
