I previously left Executive Chevy a terrible review; I should note that the advisor who dropped the ball was NOT Steve in the Service Dept. He's actually right now trying to resolve this issue, which was unbeknownst to me. I believe in calling "xxxxx and strikes", and Steve is making an attempt to resolve which at this point is all we can ask for, as the previous Service Advisor did nothing. Understand there's a lot of red tape for him to deal with and we're keeping our fingers crossed he can work something out. I normally don't like to have to "MF" a business, but it was warranted because of past advisor ineptitude. Still not completely sold on Chevy's, but if Steve comes through it'll restore my faith in USA cars which I love, especially Chevy trucks.
2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

2004 Ford Explorer review
My Explorer was left to me in my friends will I knew the truck for a few years before inheriting it and except for 1 thing have had NO problems with it other than normal maintenance and I LOVE this truck and have no intention of getting rid of it unless I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO... and then I would still be hesitant about it ! It's always started and drove excellent especially in snow !!! My truck has 90600 miles it was given to me at 75000 miles ... only negative is that before I got it my friend needed to replace the transmission due to losing reverse (literally out of nowhere) WE were both stunned about it .... I wish I could check the transmission fluid by a dipstick too !

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2021 Ford Explorer review
I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

2020 Ford Explorer review

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2018 Ford Explorer review
Love this car overall but I have only one complaint. I was putting some boxes in the rear of the car and one of the boxes must have touched the the rear seat folding mechanism as all of a sudden it tried to unfold the seats. If my grandchildren had been sitting there strapped in I hate to think what may have happened!! Wish you had coverage over the mechanism so this wouldn’t happen.

2023 Ford Explorer review
This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.
