Toyota South Atlanta Service and Valet Departments
February 15, 2022
By Ms. Angel from Fairburn, GA
I visited the service department, and was assisted by Kaelin, the Valet Manager, who was kind enough to go over the different functions of my new 2022 Toyota Venza, which I had purchased a couple days prior. Although the salesman had gone over many of the functions with me, being a senior citizen and being so overwhelmed about having a new car after 16 years, by the next morning I had forgotten all what we had covered. Kaelin was very familiar with every aspect of this vehicle. He reconnected my bluetooth so that I could make and receive calls, and with the assistance of Service Lane Manager, Konner Moore, they hooked up the navigational system on the touchscreen so that I could use Google Map; the fact that I have an Android phone, made things a little more complex. I want to commend both of these young men on their professionalism, kindness, helpfulness, courtesy, and patience. Their attention to providing Superior Customer Service is impeccable. Although Kaelin, is not directly employed with Toyota, since the Valet Service is only contracted through Toyota, he should be; he would be a real asset. He is a true people's person, and obviously knows the operation of their vehicles better then some of the salesman and service advisors whom I have come in contact with over the years. This is the third Toyota I have purchased since June of 1989, so I should know. I look forward to visiting the service department again in the future.

Very nice ride with the upgraded 1.5L turbo, much better than the standard engine. Styling and comfort better than expected. Enjoyed the car since new (2017), only replaced the battery.
The appointment for our 2003 Mazda Miata was on 4/6/2022. The wait was especially long; not sure if it was due to overbooking for oil changes or what, but at the end of the day, the best thing about it was working with Richard Smith! He kept us informed of the status of our vehicle because RICHARD SMITH IS "DA BOMB!" 5+ stars!!!

I love this car.
Powerful with less gas but you should know how to drive a V6 truck, never go back to Jeep after Ford
I grew up in the Mid-West, working with my dad in the oil fields and on farms and ranches, driving trucks of all types and makes. Bought my first Ford truck back in 1978 - a 1973 step-side. Have owned several other brands. Next Ford was a 1992 Ranger XLT - a great buy and owned it for eleven years. It was as solid as new the day I sold it to a friend. I’ve owned a few luxury sedans and SUVs since then and in 2016, when I retired, bought the F-150 XLT Super Cab rear-wheel drive with the V-6 Ecoboost engine. Best engine ever! Absolutely no trouble with this truck after 75K miles. Only two very minor recall fixes. Not a single rattle (as solid as my girlfriend’s brand new Acura RDX). I live in Arizona, so I appreciate the awesome A/C output. Finally had a brake job done last month and only needed rear brake pads and rotors turned. One battery change after four years, oil changes every 5K miles and the first set of tires lasted over 40K miles. I feel like I could easily get 200K out of this truck.
Clean, friendly environment. Happy employees. Great car deal; even during Covid-19.

Got this lovely little fella for $17,999.00 if you ask me the price I paid I stole it. You cannot beat the value of this. Made in the USA, she was made to work. However you don’t think of a sedan as a work car, that’s not my reference. When I say work I mean when I floor it the traction control lights up and both tires wanna sing along. A DOHC 4 banger! She gets it done. Did I mention it’s a 2013 and the only parts replaced are the wiper blades, brakes, oil when needed, air filters same as the oil, and tires the rest is original with 87,989 on the odometer and she’s a daily driver 😉
Great Unprofessional very detailed and in-depth explanations
They were professional And were able to match me to a car that was suitable for my needs and my needs I need for

Best truck out there! Plenty of room for the grandkids seats and 4 people. Also, plenty of room in the bed for working/hauling materials. And all of this can happen at the same time. All of the HP you'll need for anything. Recently hauled a load of heavy furniture and other household stuff over Monteagle mountain and I was passing cars going up the mountain!! POWERFUL!!
We just bought a 2022Honda Ridgeline and we are delighted with the service we received from our salesman Hilary. He took good care of us and kept us informed of every step of the process. David in F&I explained every thing we signed. Wonderful Dealership!

Bought the Explorer about 18 months ago. So far we have put 20,000 miles on it. No problems at all. The 2.3 eco boost engine is plenty powerful and the gas mileage is exceptional. We usually get between 26 and 28 mpg. Love the factory tow package, the heated seats, the heated steering wheel (you don’t know what you are missing if you have never had it), & the Apple car play is great for navigation using our IPhones .
I recently purchased my Honda Civic Touring from Sons. As soon as I arrived I was met by Garrett with a warm welcoming smile and small hometown personal hospitality. Garrett was extremely interested in hearing exactly what I was looking for and did not waste time trying to push other vehicles on me. He was very open , friendly , and straight forward with absolutely none of the pushiness I have experienced at other dealers in the past. He seemed to have a real feel for people. He actually made car buying a really fun and positive experience. Not only did he find just the vehicle I was looking for but he walked me through the entire process and even stayed late to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase and everything went smooth. The entire dealership was very clean , staff were all smiling and brought a very positive energy to the place. And just like small town hospitality Garrett even filled the tank up with fuel , one of the things you don’t find too often anymore. I would definitely recommend Sons Honda to anyone and ask for Garrett! You will not be disappointed!!

This is my 4th Ford Explorer over the last 20 years and I am very happy. Every time I upgrade is nicer in every aspect. I am glad that after so many people telling me to just go to another style and company, I made the right decision.
I recently purchased a 2021 VW Tiguan and had a great buying experience and absolutely love the car. A few weeks after getting the car, I scraped the front of the bumper in a parking lot. When i went back to the dealer to see if they could help me buff it out, i was pleasantly surprised with how professional, helpful and understanding the team was. Thank you Jared P and Sean E !!

The only thing I have against my Edge is the wind noise my wife’s 2013 Niisan is quieter after being told it would be much quieter than my 2010 Lincoln MKX
F150 quad cab is the best! Soooooo fast, rides smoother than a Cadillac, it has very comfortable seats, passengers love the leg room in the back, and the ladder to get in and out of the truck bed is extra convenient!
10/10 !! Edward was my salesman and he was the best salesman I’ve ever worked with. Anything we needed, he provided and was on our side. I purchased a GLE 43 AMG and i traded in my car. They kept their word and honored my trade in amount on carmax. Fast and smooth experience and very professional !!

I think this truck will meet all the needs we have hauling kids and animals. The interior is just like my car--comfortable with all the "extras".
Great support! I had a air leak on the passenger door and it was fixed.

I reluctantly traded in my 2013 Taurus for a Ford Edge in 2017. I considered this a downgrade in comfort and luxury. I had decided not to go with the Explorer at that time because of the lower fuel economy. When the 2020 Explorer XLT came out, it had a highway rating of 28 MPG which was the same rating I was getting from the Ford Edge.
My Ford Taurus always surprised me with its excellent fuel economy. I could get 32 MPG easily on long drives. The Edge would give me 26 MPG on the highway and about 18 MPG around town.
The 2020 Explorer is so much more comfortable than the Edge. The kids love sitting in their own chairs. They have plenty of space and when they start getting on each other's nerves or my wife's, they can easily split up with one of them sitting in the last row.
I have managed better than 30 MPG on long trips with the Explorer. My average driving comes in at 25 MPG.
I have had no mechanical problems with the Explorer what-so-ever. I now have 20,000 miles on it. I got the towing package which has really turned out to be useful. I use it to carry bikes with a hitch carrier. I have rented a U-Haul traller on several occasions instead of renting a pick-up truck. It is only $20 per day to rent a tailor.
I really enjoy the Android Auto feature. The major complaint that I read on the Ford Explorer is that they claim that the shifting is not smooth or that the car is noisy.
I find that the car rides very nicely and is very quiet when you are on the road. The 10-speed transmission is obviously going to be doing lots of shifting to get you up to speed. That is a lot of gears. Those gears are the reason i am getting over 30 MPG on a large 7 passenger SUV. I don't mind a bit of busy shifting in order to save fuel.
I know that the KIA Telluride is very highly regarded in this category. The Telluride advertises 21 MPG overall. I am very happy to get the mileage I am getting now. I also got a pretty good discount from Ford when I bought the Explorer.
I believe that the Ford Explorer is an ideal vehicle for families. Fuel Economy is unbelievable for a vehicle this size with so much power.
I always put Explore in the Economy mode when I drive. I can feel the power drop when I put it in this mode.
In the normal mode, I get about 26 MPG on the highway but in the Economy mode, I get 30 and better.
